Wasnt sure if I would find this one however Mr R had it in hand quickly. Thanks for the cache
The ground around the area looks recently cleared. A quick find as the container was found on the ground in the open, a little flatter but okay. As the palm is without anything to hide a cache, it is under a few sticks in the nearby tree low on the chopped bit.Last night we were travelling late, pulled into Lake Hart to stop for the night. It was a busy rest stop, we circled to look at our options then out. Returning back in, a nice pull in well out of the way on the road in. Camp set up, a number of trains went past through the night, had spotted The Ghan, based on timetables, but another passenger train also. Really pleased to wake here, it's a stunning salt lake. Full of water and the edges of salt crystal. Had a great time exploring and even a freight train through as we stood btmy the tracks. Another stunning blue sky and warm weather made for great scenery.Packed up and heading south, it was a return to NASA'S first space centre in Australia, all cleared now but roads, deap eroded roads, but stunning with salt lakes of islands and outback landscape.Got in and out okay, off down the road a bit to see where zone 39 was filmed, apoplectic film and just the right location! A ruined bunker from the movie still there and relics over a crazy fascinating landscape. It took a but to get too. Took the van in a bit too far but found a turn spot without incident. Unhitched and carried on. Needed the 4X4 and low gear but worth it.A top up shop in Port Augusta, then through the bottom of the Flinders.so green and lush given the outback baren of yesterday and set up late in Manning Hill to set up camp and cook dinner. Thanks for your cache to enjoy!
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor with a stop at Maralinga, Ceduna, Lincoln National Park, Coober Pedy & Oodnadatta.TFTC. Quick find on the ground. Now in sticks in tree.
Away for the June Long Weekend with TheWhiteDogGang. We based ourselves at Orroroo and travelled far and wide over 4 days. We managed 1,500 kms during our travels. We managed to find some really old caches, one from 2001, and even managed to get all 9 terrain ratings. Not bad for 2 old farts with no coordination. The weather was dry if not cold on occasions.A good way to spend 4 days.A quickish find.TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Staying in PA for a couple of days. Ventured out Montrose way and surrounds to grab a few finds. Took the advice of Rileyke and soon was recording our visit. Thanks for the hide.
Found on a sunny but cool day with richlink as part of our annual caravan geocaching trip. We loved exploring this beautiful area. Well done, thanks fishingmad.
HINT:Not that low, between knee and shoulder height. No need to go digging in the spikey boys
Hmmm crawl around under that. Gulp. Oh no there it is. Phew! Old cemeteries are fascinating places.
Geocaching holiday around SA to Broken Hill back to SA and the back to WA. Drove from Whyalla today and collected 15 caches and 2 dnf. Tyftc

A slight detour but why not for another cache.

Continuing our trip from Melbourne to Darwin and back, we are now on our way back home and today we are traveling from Port Augusta to Cadell where we will stay overnight on the banks of our mighty Murray River. A bit of a change after spending the last several weeks in the arid conditions of Central Australia. I also took the opportunity to grab several caches along the way.
Round and round and round I went, eventually spotted the little sucker
**Thanks for placing this cache fishingmad**

We’re all going to Whittlesea to participate in Victoria’s next Mega!

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 4: Grab a few move solved puzzles and head to Terowie.
A quick drive by.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks fishingmad for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

An amazing little historical cemetery.
Interesting to read the Headstones, the names, the dates, the ages.
And it’s still being used today.
Thanks for sharing this interesting location.

Another cache needed for a challenge I am working on. We pulled in to this little oasis on the way to Orroroo and I was very pleased to see the cache waiting for me.
Found the Wal & Ol replacement without having seen the photo - not what I was expecting! Thanks to all concerned for this cache!
Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 7, Orroroo to Pekina and return.
Found cable tie, cache appears to be missing again. Replaced on same branch a little higher up, spoiler attached.

Drove past and then swung back to check out this well manicured county cemetery, couldn't locate the cache but found a cable tie in a likely location.
Enjoyed our visit here

Heading home after a lovely 5 days in Whyalla on our mini holiday...
We selected a few caches for on the way home were we could take a break...
We actually detoured from the most obvious route to avoid the city and to get a couple of target caches in Orroroo & Peterborough...
A quick but prickly find here today...

Heading from Port Pirie to Wilmington for the geo event, so a chance to do some caching and revisit this area, which is looking pretty green after earlier rains.
Thanks to gridge98 for replacing the container before we got there. Despite previous bad experiences with these palms, a quick find, with no injuries.
So many little cemeteries dotted around the north of SA. This one looks well cared for. Tftc

On our way to Petersborough we stoped at Willowies Garden. The cache could be found easily, but the logbook is really wet. Took a photolog as proof.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today it was Wilmington, Orrorroo and Jamestown, and whatever in between that took our fancy, or was safe to park the caravan.
I love wandering around old cemeteries. This one was triple great - a cache, and a great location, great stories to be told. Thanks fishingmad for the hide and the excuse to pull off the road.

After trying to locate this cache with Mrs one-eyed, we were not prepared to seek under the prickly palm, so better luck next time.
There were signs of heavy rains over the past couple of days, may have disturbed the cache.
Cheers.

Who would have expected a little cemetery like this in the middle of what is now nowhere? Thanks for giving me an excuse to make a little stop on my blast across Australia.
Found by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle on our 3-month Australia holiday after travelling from snowy and cold Northern Ontario Canada.
With the replacement motor home being delivered to the caravan park in Peterborough, SA in the evening before, we were able to leave in the morning.
The cache was found as we travelled from Peterborough, SA to Minnipa, SA . one of 14 finds today - All were quickly found except for the last which took two visits to find it (before and after supper in the motor home)

We have been travelling since January when we left Geelong and travelled up the centre to Darwin
We crossed the border into WA in May and completed the gibb river road and cape leveque. The Kimberley’s was simply stunning
From Broome we have zig zagged from coast to inland and seen and done some amazing things, to many to mention
We have seen all of WA and after crossroads the Nullarbor we decided to head back to Alice Springs to see our daughter again who works there
Now we are heading home but firstly to Bendigo to see another daughter
What a year we have had and it’s thanks to caching that we have seen so much, more than your travelling muggle

Found by Mary & David at 1630. A FP here even before we start exploring. M loves cemeteries for their graveyard architecture, carved symbolism, and social history. She could have stayed here all day. So much to see - a Chinese name, babies and small children, carved flowers, oak leaves and acorns. Beautifully maintained, and a pleasure to visit. Our thanks to fishingmad.
A quick find heading north, very peaceful location.

Hi there fishingmad.
We found your cache **"Willowie Garden Of Memories"** at 11:41:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 17267).
Today was a travel day, so we only found geocaches as opportunities presented themselves.
We found 5 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
