On the coast for en event, but still had time for a few caches afterwards. This made the list.
Had checked on Google Maps, so knew where to park, and we made our way in. Closed in on GZ and started the search. Found what the hint suggested and searched there without luck and then widened our search. A previous finder confirmed we were in the right spot, but said there had been a fair amount of water through there since the last find.
Can CO do a search, and if we were blind, we will be back.

Great fun jungle trekking on a very muggie day.....million mozzies found us before we found the cache. Worth the hunt as it was a fun container....Cosmo03 had it in hand in a few seconds...glad he was there! TFTC!!
Trekked around the 'jungle' for over half an hour. Glad I changed into my hiking shoes! Mozzie heaven. Will return one day to try again (smothered in insect repellent.. Lol).
But this one was hard! Had to call The Big Kids (who always beat us to caches) for some additional clues. Very unique container TFTC
Out early to drop off E at work then quick detour to this prehistoric secluded spot. Parked at the gate and wandered towards and along the creek. Blue quandong fruit decorated the fairly dry palm grove floor. Heard thumping and crashing through the undergrowth up ahead - suspected the dinosaur (but could have also been a cow).
Searched in circles for a while, down the bank, up the bank - GPS not much help, then paused and rethought the hint - looked a bit harder and finally moved the lucky piece of leaf litter and the creature was revealed.
Brief surgery and bison with log appeared and even some swaps.
Took little grey bearded dragon, left spider.

Favourite point for interesting location, tricky hide and cute container.

Gee that one was fun in the dark, lots of vines and branches to dodge ! TFTC
Edited to tell a story... We dropped geokids off to play with friends so we could sneak around doing some night caching. We finally found one where we didn't have to worry about disturbing the local dogs or alert neighbours! I was one find up on hubby and my hair got caught in a vine. Even better, the stick the vine was growing on managed to go down inside my hair clip, very successfully pinning me to the spot. I mentioned I was stuck & thoughtful hubby thought I meant there were too many vines & trees to get through. He said it's ok, I'll find this one.. You stay there! Muttering under my breath at him, I said again, No, I'm stuck! Needless to say, by the time I had managed to untangle myself he had found the cache. Really enjoyed this one in the dark. Thanks

On my way past this spot today and just had to stop for a look. After going in for a bit of a look with no luck, I stopped to read the hint and the last couple of logs. With this in mind I returned for another look but still no good (I did come across the ants nest).
So this one is one I'll just have to return for another day.
Cheers

Accurately named cache for both the environment and camo. Mozzies made it a quick search as, despite its beauty, I just wanted to get out of there. Though I emerged along a defined path of sorts, surprised a muggle nearby who was oddly collecting barrels of water at the creek and placing them in his car.
Out and about, picking up a few caches in the area.
We thought this area looked like a scene out of the movie, even a bird's call sounded scary.
Fumbled around in the scrub, before finally finding the well hidden cache.
T: N, L: tiny dinosaur. Cache in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Chrayley, for us and others to find.

After the event I decided to escape the traffic and do some caches. This one took me a few minutes but I finally spotted it. Tftc
Took a while to figure out the best approach for this one, soon one option was ruled out so back to the other one. Wasn't too difficult to get to GZ and was amazed at how clear this creek is!
Spent quite a bit of time searching for the cache until I spotted something I must have dislodged. Well that's an interesting cache container!! The outer container was full of water but the inner container was dry!!
Great spot, I wonder how you find places like this? Thanks Chrayley, I will give it a Favourite.

#393~ A little harder than I first expected. It looks like a lot of water has come through here recently, even though it hasn't rained in quite a while. And the mosquitoes, holy moly, make sure you bathe in insect repellant. Thankfully I spotted this out of place interesting cache when I did or I'd be literally covered in bites. The outer layer was full of water though but the bison was sealed okay. TFTC Chrayley
After a busy geo day out we thought we'd give a stroll in Jurassic park a go to finish off. We expected mosquitos so "Ridded up" prior to exiting the geomobile, alas to no avail we were greeted enthusiastically as soon as we entered the area. A furious slapping dance ensued while we searched but to no avail. Some serious water has thundered through this area recently and we wondered whether the cache may have been washed out to sea. Will try again another time . Thanks for bringing us to the area, no idea it was even here.
Up on the Sunshine Coast today with T-Tech, but he has to work Not to worry, I'm sure I can find a few caches to occupy my time [^] I've solved a nearby puzzle so thought I'd grab a few more caches in this area as well. No luck at this one, although I searched for quite a while.
Went with my dad and brother and found a perfect place for the cache to be, but alas, no cache. Perhaps need a check if still there.
So arrive to this cache as my last to find on my great 'no DNF's New Years Day'... About 10mins into the look the phone goes flat and I had what I thought to be the location and the clue. About 35mins later frustrated, scratched up and bitten I decided that I would have to come back for this one! In my defence, alot of water (flooding) had just come though here and made quite a mess of the area... (That’s my excuse for now)
With a free Thursday for Lady membsec, Net88, Angela & Dave (without Dave) and myself what else was there to do then go find a few caches!!! Seeing as it is hard for all of us to find caches close to home that we can all get a smilie for, we headed for the gorgeous Sunny Coast! I miss living up here.
Oh dear faeries! Angela certainly tested her driving abilities and the red rockets off road capabilities at this cache She did however get us prime parking After sliding out of the vehicle we started the stroll to GZ. Hmmm, hill you say, ah, best way down is to just run! I certainly made it to GZ in a flash. Once we had reached our final destination it wasn't long until the rally car driver had the cache in hand. Very cute

Heading out for ladies caching day, it was Nyssaflutterby, Membsec and Net88 with me heading towards the sunny coast on a not so sunny day!! After an earlier FTF we decided to change our plans and diverted this way following a trail of caches!
As we get in the general vicinity of GZ there wasn't a real good spot to pull off the side of the road, then I saw the driveway.... Up we manoeuvre the Red Rocket and onto the grass. It's quite steep over here!! That way someone says, so we rocket over there. NO! Back the other way, someone else mentions. Hmmm. Going to have to turn this rocket around!! Quick and easy manoeuvre to turn the rocket around and we headed back to where we had come from. The only option was to set the rocket down on the slope and pray all could manage to disembark safely.
We followed the structure around and into the bush and started the search for the cache. Looking high and low I found the need to get down and boogie and as I did, the discovery was made!! So, getting down is not only fun but also quite productive!
We launched the Rocket once again after everyone fell into it and set off into the traffic that had suddenly appeared. The Rocket made quick work of the traffic and blasted off in the direction of the next cache!!

Today was another wonderful Ladies Day with Nyssaflutterby, Lady Membsec and Angela and Dave, minus Dave because, well, he isn't a lady. We were getting towards the last few hours of the day so we were hoping for a lot of quick finds. We looked at the recommended parking coordinates and then we ignored them just as quickly
With Angela at the wheel we were soon parked on a precarious angle, though we were a lot closer to the cache so I for one was NOT going to complain. Lady Membsec and I struggled to get out of the car as Nyssa and Angela seemed to just fall out. We headed down towards GZ and soon were spreading out and searching for the cache.
We heard a cry from Angela as she was spooked by the dinosaurs. Looks like she had found the cache. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found before heading back up to the car and towards the next cache. Thanks for the cache Chrayley

Out and about with the girls, Nyssaflutterby, Net88 and Angela minus Dave! We had planned a trip to the Sunny Coast but after a detour for a ftf our plans were slightly changed.
Ok, this is where we found out what the red rocket could do. We were trying to park as close to GZ as possible and hey, that looks like a good place. Off road driving is good, but off road driving on a hill.........not too sure. Eventually we parked and if you were on the right side of the car, once you opened the door you could fall out, now if you were on the left side, we struggled to climb out, getting in was fun!!!
We raced down to GZ, well Nyssa raced down, and we soon circled around GZ until we had the little blighter surrounded and Angela did the jumping onto it and it soon surrendered in her hands. Got you!!!
TFTC
I was scared that the red rocket wouldn't be able to get up and out of the area but Angela had other ideas, however we didn't count for the school traffic on the main road and we wanted to go straight......don't know why I worried because the red rocket knew how to avoid all cars and head straight!!!

This was my second attempt, first attempt I kicked a jumpin ants nest, got bit by 1 and my whole foot swelled up for 3 days. Glad to find it! Tftc
I found this one today after a second attempt! very nice hide, but it isn't tied down to anything, good flood and i'm afraid it will be washed away! I live on the boundry of that very same creek, i've seen the floods, needs to be tied or anchored to the ground somehow? Just letting you know. TFTC
After trekking though the jurasic park finding a dead snake on an electric wire we continued on the trail and eventually found the prehistoric beast we needed:) TFTC Crayley
Went here after Lindsay's Wall, thought it would be nice and easy. Not so. Will have to head back into the spooky forest again soon.
Sort of on my way home from Dunethin Rage, couldn't help myself and gathered a couple more. Great hide. TFTC
What a beautiful little stream. I would love this running through my backyard. TFTC
Nice hide. Found with Mum Dad and Brother did after my dad (spinna1976) and Brother

1361. Spent a bit of time searching around looking for this one, I should have taken more notice of the GPS arrow and distance when out from the canopy as it was correct when i was out there, any way caching is about learning something new, this area is truly Jurassic Looking, Mrs.K. located it with her Binoculars RRR Chrayley - TFTC
Out for a drive and some caches so stopped at Jurassic Park. Great little container. Greetings from NZ. TFTC
Did a little bit of bush bashing and on the way found an easier way to approach close to GZ. Found after a short search with us3scouts and Parko's. TFTC Chraley
We parked at the parking waypoint and made our way to the cache through the bush following Mr Parko who had his GPS device out and ready. We looked around at GZ waiting for the GPS to settle down and read the hint. "Oh, here it is!" We all signed the log and walked the easy way back to the geomobiles. No man eating dinosaurs bothered us today. Thanks for the cache Chrayley!
Mr Parko was leading the way and decided to go the hard way in, nothing new for us Parko's, we do like to make things harder than they should be
Found after a short hunt after reading the clue. Thanks Chrayley, It certainly does look like something out of Jurassic Park

After arriving near the cache the GPS started playing up, so it was up to us to search in every nook and cranny. After a long search we used the hint and found a spot that was so close to the geocache but had no luck. If only we knew it was there! all of us were bleeding from plant thorns and very wet from the river which had very deep water. Then Humble feather accidentally found this sneaky Jurassic Park hide...
Jurassic park is my favorite cache, and my favorite book happens to be ...

1105hrs. Just a short trip down the hill and we parked about 50m from GZ. An amazing bit of forest that we would not have visited if not for caching. The GPS was all over the place in the wet weather and in the end the better half found the clever container. A well named cached. TFTCSL
Had a nice little wander along the creek. My first cache hunt in a long while, so it took a bit for the old geocaching brain to kick in. TFTC Chrayley.
Found with friends at 0916. Had to search for a while for this one but after widening the search we had. TFTC.
Hi Found it we bravely entered the rain forest, went right then left then right again. Finley had it in hand. TFTC.
Had no problem finding this cache.
The little stream was flowing through this small patch of tropical bushland.
Made sure it was covered a little better to hide its presence.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Chrayley All good with this cache
Will be back to tackle your trickier caches

TFTC Great cache, difficult to find with GPS going everywhere. Out for the day with mickezza and 4 travelling buds. TNLNSL
tftc. tnlnsl. loved this cache. not the easiest to find but when we found it WOW fantastic container.
An enjoyable stroll down to GZ after enjoying a brew nearby. With 4mtrs to go I could see where the needle was pointing and a likely spot to search. I found the cache easy enough and then while I signed the log I noticed those pesky little biters start to hover around my head. So after replacing things as they were I wandered back out into the sunlight and off for another brew. I wonder how vicious they'll be in the summer months.
It certainly is a nice location and I'm glad I didn't find any "wait a while sticky palms"!

Tftc, stf. When we arrived to find a park we noticed a car had just pulled up, I said to geohubby that will be another cacher. I was crunch crunch through the bush to get there first, making so much noise. GPS all over the place. Looking, looking looking. Anyway Craig(wesso family) came up with the goods, in a place that I had actually had a little look at but decided it was too far from gz. So excited to meet craig from wesso family.congrats craig on ftf.tnlnsl
**FTF** @ 0820 hrs
I had just pulled the Geovan up down the road when I saw a unfamiliar white 4x4, drive past and do a U turn, I knew I was going to have company so I took off towards GZ.
I got about 50 metres in and realised I had to find another access point to GZ. I scaled the bank and came out just behind this white 4x4 parked on the side of the road. This is where I met "Mick" from Mickezza, a quick hello and off into the bush I went with Mick following behind.
It wasn't long before Mick's better half, Kezza, emerged from the bush .....I thought she had the cache in hand, but nope, so still a possibility of a FTF. We all said hello and swapped a few yarns as we search around GZ.
I re-read the description and the hint (loved the hint). I search one particular location and then widened by search by about 4m. (tree coverage was at fault). I was concentrating on one area at my new GZ. During our search Mickezza revealed they had never had a FTF, so in my heart I was hoping they found it first.............And Guess what[?] ..........Today wasn't their day.
I spotted the tell tail signs of a hide and investigated a bit more and came up with exactly what I thought the container was........... , the Guardian of the cache was well tethered to the log and wasn't going anywhere fast. I removed the guardian from his hide and yelled out to Mickezza those two wonderful words....Found IT!!!
They joined me at GZ while I removed the bison tube from the inside the guardian. But was I the first to find it[?] [?][?] I opened the bison and removed the log to find a nice blank spot at the top of the log sheet for our name to be FTF.
After I wrote our name, I passed it to Mickezza to sign the log as 2nd to find, better luck next time guys......sorry.
We re hide the beast back into it's neat hidey place and then walked back to our vehicles. A another little chat and farewell and we were on our way. Great to meet Mickezza, I'm sure we will cross paths again. [^][^]
Ps............Don't Tell Clive Palmer about this Jurassic location.
