#7631 - 12:20; After a wet day in Macau yesterday, a more relaxed day was planned for today, I grabbed a couple of caches while the geohoney got ready, then we were off for some local retail therapy. Caught the trolley tram from Wan Chai to Western Market and saw this cache was nearby. Made my way to GZ and with the help of the hint, managed the find. TFTC samshlau
Finding this cache involved an hat trick from my side. it namely took three visits before I could sign it. Or rather two to find it and then one more when I did the signing.
First I was here a little before six o'clock. Almost one hour after I settled in the smallest hostel room I have ever seen. Capsule hotels excluded.
But that turned out to be a very bad time to fumble around in search of an cache container. Mostly because of all the persons passing by. But also of the European woman standing in the walkway signing in hope of getting some money for here backpacking travels. So after doing some half hearted tries to locate the hiding place I left the walkway.
Later that evening, around 2300 o'clock, did i return. And then the woman was gone and there where much fewer pedestrians here. And after a few minutes of fumbling did I have the container in my hands.
But the signing did I skip since I would be walking this way towards the Hong Kong - Macau ferry terminal the next morning. And two countries in one day tomorrow was more important than one more cache this day.

Het was even moeilijk, maar Shawn vond hem dan toch na zeker 15 minuten zoeken.
Bedankt voor de cache

A fine find by Jake. Looked around for a while and just about to give up when Jake spotted the well camouflaged cache. No pen to sign the log book. TFTC!

kinglee is on the move again... going further, stronger and wiser with every cache!
Friday night group geocaching! My second attempt here as the hint was not making sense for me the last time when I have only 10mins on hard and GPSr was not stable! Brought additional 7 pairs of hands to feel around and of course now my stamp is on the very familiar looking logsheet!
TNLNSL,
Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for the cache!
Found the cache on the second attempt with the Friday night caching group. Nice to get this after so many logs saying it was easy to see.
TFTC near this nice heritage site. Second last cache on a beautiful Friday night-caching tour.
This was my #405,
...and a realy difficult one. While searching, me and Neewby79 met farawaytrees and as a 3 men team the cache had no chance. @farawaytrees: thank you for the nice talk... looking foreward to meet you again.
Thank you for the cache says Megrim1888 from Germany

I had some spare time so I headed to the island to get a couple of caches. I started at Sheung Wan and walked back along the waterfront to Admiralty picking up the caches on the piers and enjoying the views of the harbour.
This was the first on that I searched for. I remembered the name from my previous visit in 2010 and I thought I must have DNFed it until I arrived at the site and found that I was looking in a completely different location.
I started my search amongst the throngs but after 15 minutes of seeing nothing I relocated to another likely level and it still took me another 10 minutes before I located the cache.
Very cunning hide. TFTC

Wow hard one. The marker on my phone put it out in the tram lines. Met two German geofriends and we searched together and with teamwork found it in five minutes. Had a good chat. Great.tftc.
I came back hours later in the evening after finding Great Harmony, and the cache was staring at me! I was the first to sign the second log sheet.
The geoson was playing football nearby and this popped up as being the closest. Great location and we ended up having to phone a friend to find it. After the extra hint there were still many places to hide it. The geoson found whilst I was busy looking elsewhere. No pen so sent the cache owner a photo. TFTC.
Found with my wife after going to Macau together.
There were too many people at GZ and I spent plenty of time searching the wrong side.
It's not a good idea to find this cache in a Saturday afternoon.

I nearly couldn't find my own cache since it's not in the original position!
Moved back to where it was intended to be. It's now hidden in plain sight!

Knowing the previous location of this cache, this is a whole new level of play. Well done!!

So embarrassing.... )

Happy to learn that this cache is resurrected. Yes! This place deserve a cache!
Thanks to the map, it's a quick and easy find. Muggles factor increase the difficulty though! Lucky that can take the cache after a short wait. But took awhile to get the chance to put it back!

Day 4 of the streak, it took me awhile to figure out what the hint meant as I originally thought the darkness is referring to the "shop" across the street... Quick find after I identified the likely spot. #888. TFTC!

Hiding places were too much. Then the hint it was enough obvious to me, but the place is fractal and searching for the cache needs its time of stooping and stretching.
Beautiful vintage location. TFTC!

Not too obvious a find for me. It took a bit if thinking.
Bit of advice for future cachers: if you can smell pee, you're in the wrong place.
Super hide though, I was impressed!
Thanks for bringing us here, and thanks for the cache!

Hohoho, first found of the day. While at GZ, shirohk ran into savvypat and pizzahunter. This is our first time we met someone we actually know at GZ. (previously we always met cachers from other countries) my #168. Hohoho. TFTCSL

Eventually I found the cache but only after asking for help! The cache is very well hidden and I really liked the well presented log book. My very first Hong Kong cache!....TFTC

575th FIND in Hong Kong
So glad to see a cache restored at this lovely historical building
Left office in the afternoon slightly earlier so that I can come here to pick up the lunch-time smiley
Did not depend on the GPS but just relied on my gensense to look for possible hiding places [8)]
Hint wasn't apparent but fortunately the cache is pretty obvious at it's hiding spot
There was also a very big "logbook" nearby
TFTC - had Fish'N'Chips at the bakery-cafe in the western market, wasn't excellent but still good for it's price

Congrats for 1 year anniversary!
Yes! It is worthy placing a cache at western market! The coord is very jumpy at GZ but the google map is accurate. But still need 10 mins search since the cache is nice camo.
