I thought there were few spots to put this one given its 2 star difficulty rating and container type. After reading th e last few logs, I gave up on this pretty quickly.
Found a few nice spots for a micro but could not find the cache itself - while on the way into town to pickup by queen and geoprince.
Spent a fair amount of time and found a few likely hiding spots for micros but was unable to find this one. Greetings from Hong Kong!
Too many workers nearby. *REMOVED COMMENT*
EDIT: updated comment because I gave away the hide - even though I didn't find the cache

Nice easy find. Also I now know what to expect if it says listening container! Many thanks
While having a spare morning in Melbourne, I thought I'd have a go at a couple of caches in this area. The first seemed too public for a daytime go, the second had people all about but this one was much quieter. A short look around and the cache was in hand. Thanks Asteria.
#832 Had a bit of trouble locating this one, gps wasn't sure which side of the street to take us. After a thorough check of all possible places and reading previous logs we finally came up with the find. We added a new log sheet as original is full and damp. A nice cache write up of the history of the place - thanks wintermus.es

Came by in the morning but the corner was over-run with electricity line-men or some-such working right up against the corner where GZ is located. So abandoned search.
Returned after 4 pm to be sure council workers are gone for a relatively easy find.
As previous finders have already noted, the log was too damp to sign. So snapped and uploaded and image of the cache as evidence instead.

Found 21/5/2014, log very damp, hard to write on, but an interesting hide. Tftc Paul and brenda
Great lil hide, careful of the high degree of muggles behind GZ.
Signed and dated the log, however it was a bit damp.
The outer protection seems to have been compromised.
Also learnt that one of the founders is a relative. Thanks :^)

Cache found with sirsurfalot. TFTC

Easiest find today! Had the two German geo-hounds sniffing it out for me. TFTC, this was a cool hide!
Log was full so added a small additional piece of paper. Rebagged after drying out and replaced a little more securely with a protective stone. TFTCSL
Found with bkj97. T4TCSL retreated to the parking meter across the road to sign and do maintenance as it looked less suspicious.
One of the more unusual caches I have found.
Log is full and needs replacing.

Found with harowex, we managed to find some space on the log but it is well and truly full now and needs replacing.

Found it, well, Vandal did.
Needs maintenance. Logbook is full, and its wettened.

On a business trip to Melbourne I had the chance to look for some geocaches.
After a short search I could find the "box".

If it looks oddly out of place then it must be a cache. After walking up from a distance I saw this one. Log was wet and needs to be replaced, so couldnt' sign it.
But Tftc!

Found this one pretty difficult, as the cache was small and well hidden. Trust the map, not the clues
Found this morning. Log completely soaked so we couldn't sign it. Tftc. Great location.

Find #714
Another LONG walk out of the city to grab a cache.
This took a little while to track down as the workers across the road were keeping me on my toes. I kept wandering off and coming back to search. Eventually I spotted something and soon had the cache.
Thanks to Asteria76 for the cache and the fun

Found after a bit of a hunt. Spent a while on the wrong object before finding the right one. TFTC
Found with Matthew Supertramp.
Clever little container in a cunning little place!

Wow, our first cache in Australia. The lucky guys in the street didn't get a ticket because we were talking to the parkingpolice for some time.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
As per the last comment I came prepared and it now sits in a new clip lock bag. Tftgc
Found this one today. I went around in circles to find this one and eventually it was in the very last place I was going to look before giving up. I finally looked at the right angle and there it was. Signed log but ziplock bag needs replacing.
Thanks for the cache Asteria76.

Find # 2702
3:53 pm Fri 7 Feb 2014
Had some time around the city area today after dropping off Pam's Dad to get his pacemaker upgraded at St Vincent's Hospital.
This was find number 9 of 9 for the day, before going back to retrieve him.
Took me a while but I eventually found it on the other side of the street to where the coords took me.
Minimal container, and pic of Mother Ursula seems to have gone to God, or got lost, depending on your beliefs.
This was the last one because my father in laws pacemaker had now been reinstalled and he nearly ready to be taken home.
Thanks for placing this cache Asteria76

Quite a bit of restoration work going on around here, such a nice old building. Thanks for bringing us here Asteria76.

That’s one more find for me! In town for the Australian Open, so it was good to find several caches virtually on our doorstep. Interesting to read the history of this place.

Had a great day caching and enjoying the outdoors as usual. Many kilometres put on the geoPatrol to add to the numbers. Now it is a waiting game for the next opportunity to get out again.
Many thanks Asteria76 for placing this cache.

We were in town with The Coffee's and micaparamedic to attend the earth caching event and after an enjoyable time there we decided that we would look for a couple of caches before we headed off. We managed to find a park in the shade on this very warm afternoon and took the short stroll to gz where the unusually hidden cache was soon found and our names added to the log.
Thanks hafraser for the cache.
Thanks hafraser for the cache.
In the city with Team Crackers and Micaparamedic to attend the event, even in the heat we still managed to find a couple more.
Thanks Asteria76 for the hide,
Regards The Coffee's.

Much like ChrisRg we did the same. Overlooked the cache then when we couldn't see another suitable hiding place went back and found what should have been an instant find. Also like to see when cache hiders bring you to an area for some kind of historical significance and give you the back story information to go with it in the description. It's nice to learn so much of our own country's history that wasn't taught in school. TFTC, Asteria76.
I overlooked this one when I first arrived at GZ as I thought it was just a piece of rubbish that someone had jammed in. but after exhausting all the other possibilities I looked a bit bit more closely at this one. It still looked lioke rubbih when I removed it and I was a bit wary opening it. Getting the log out proved just as difficult but I got there in the end.

My first find!!! Quite hard but we found it quite by chance in a matter of minutes! Had a DNF earlier because of pesky muggle but this street was empty. Nearly gave up because we misinterpreted the clues... Cool!
My first find. Not too tricky but very rewarding. Thanks for this little one. Had no pen so couldn't sign log. Cool!
An interesting bit of history, thanks for the lesson .
A quick find then off to the next cache in the city.
