Found it! But there were no postcards, only the film roll case to sign. Nice picnic area and good cache spot
Away for the June Long Weekend with TheWhiteDogGang. We based ourselves at Orroroo and travelled far and wide over 4 days. We managed 1,500 kms during our travels. We managed to find some really old caches, one from 2001, and even managed to get all 9 terrain ratings. Not bad for 2 old farts with no coordination. The weather was dry if not cold on occasions.A good way to spend 4 days.Second find thid morning after a short walk from the car.TFTC
A LWE away caching w Team WaldronToured the mid north and surroundsSome great caches foundFixed a few as wellTFTC
Sir_spectre had to make a delivery to Mintaro so we decided to make it a two day caching adventure. So after dropping off the special delivery we made our way towards Jamestown. Thanks
Strolled over to this one. Quick find. Log wet, so replaced. And now on to the next.Found with Mogni. This was a very, very last minute trip.I found out that i had to be in the " clare region " the next day by lunch the next day on muggle business. After that business was over i headed up to jamestown to get a 2001 cache via any adventure labs or caches i haven't found before staying in a B& B in Penworthm. Now it was time to start heading home via dirt roads to Burra for the new Adventure lab and then down every dirt road/track with caches on it and the odd track that needed the hubs locked on the ute. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Love these back country roads - our type of caching. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding countryside today. Thanks for the cache.
While spending a little time in beautiful Jamestown we are grabbing a few caches along the way.
A cold, but sunny day in Bundaleer Forest Reserve had us wandering along the scenic trail enjoying the views and plantations.
Many thanks for the hide Grand Voyagers

Great to revisit this park after many years. Things have changed considerably, and the new function centre looks really nice. Short stroll and container quickly found. Plenty of new tree plantings and sculptures in the area. Tftc
TFTC It's been 17 years since visiting the forest. Enjoyed doing the Maple Walk again, beautiful as ever. I remember when the postcards were created and am glad they still remain.
I walked the Maple path before finding this cache. How peaceful, green and relaxing.
I escaped the dust and wind that Mother Nature was throwing at the world outside of this beautiful forest.
Spring has sprung and I'm having a long weekend away chilling, caching, camping.
Left either a buzzy or a lovely with the discovered cache.

Keep smiling

Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 9, Jamestown, Bundaleer and surrounds.
Lovely area for a walk and some funky art we remember from the arts festivals many years ago.
Replaced pending CO approval.

There is a very obvious place where this would have been right near ground zero but no container to be found
After finding the other one nearby we came back for another look and managed to find this one. Tftc
Given this was only found 2 days ago... it had us stumped. This and the nearby one also we DNFd...
This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a quick overnight trip to Port Pirie. The plan was to geocache around the town, and then head across through to Jamestown via Gladstone and Caltowie in order to find a unique hidden month oldie cache nearby. We then joined the geocaching community at the Gawler dinner event.
Today, we got up early and spent the first half of the day travelling around Port Pirie. A few highlights were the views of the lead smelters, the historic main street, and wetlands. Once a bakery lunch was had, we headed east, and found a few geocaches in Gladstone, Caltowie, and Jamestown. We then left some time to visit Bundaleer Forest Reserve for the 05/2001 hidden cache, as that was my last remaining available South Australian Jasmer grid caches. We then drove the few hours south to the international geocaching dinner Gawler event, before heading home.
This was a nice walk, and glad these geocaches were placed here to highlight these interactive artwork sculptures. More cool sculptures here. I hunted around for this cache, and eventually found it a little exposed, so hopefully this one lasts. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Grand Voyagers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A nice walk through the bush to these caches. Cache was a quick find and is all good
After staying in Port Pirie last night, today Davidwazza and I set out to clean up port Pirie before making a long detour via Jamestown to gawler for an evening event. We had a few targets with a 2001 cache near Jamestown to collect and a few others. All up 68 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

A great little walk, what a find in the forest. No one was too keen for much of a walk, so we just found this great place and then returned to the car. Will have to return and explore further another time.

Out and about today doing a few caches on such a warm day. What a lovely forest here. TFTC
On our way from Sydney to Adelaide and beyond we had a lot of grandfather caches on our list, which where needed to fill our matrix. Today we are on the way to one of those in Bundaleer forest. After that we visited the postcards and sounds of the forrest, which has been real fun. Thanks for bringing us here and many greetings from Germany.
Since over four weeks we are now on our tour with a campervan through southeast of Australia. Today minebine and me drived north heading for an old cache in Bundaleer. After we found Bundaleer Fun we stopped at the Picnic Ground and went for a short walk. On this walk this was our first find.

I love it when caching brings me to places I may not normally go. A fantastic area to explore and discover. TFTC. A favourite point from me.

What an amazing trip down memory lane as this was our playground as kids 38yrs ago. Was disappointed we didnt get to see the cork tree today but it was too late in the day to complete walk in daylight. We will be back tomorrow to redisscover its magic. TFTC

This has been checked by a geocacher for me and log updated. I will check again shortly.
Hi there Grand Voyagers.
We found your cache **"Bundaleer:Postcards of the Forest"** at 2:02:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 16021).
Our trek today took us from Gladstone, through Caltowir and on to Jamestown following the "next closest" route plotted by the GPS. Then it was through the Bundaleer Forest & back to Gladstone using the same method.. On our trek we found a variety of container types. & ended up finding 17 caches with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
###Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.###
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 11m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found in company of The Stanley Titans, our last cache for the day. Fun has been had by all.! TFTC it's such a lovely area and so green and lush atm although today there is a warm north wind so summer is a coming.
What a fantastic park in the forestry. Lovely clean facilities, plenty of room to turn a caravan around and a couple of great caches.
