we are the nasty nano guru's , lol, another find in less than 10 seconds, many thanx for bringing us here, Texas is a top little spot , cheers
Unfortunately we could not find this one. We searched for at least half an hour but hungry tummies got the better of us and we had to go for lunch.
Out go a Sunday drive and ended up in Texas. Thanks for cache. A sneaky one that took us a little while but success!!
TFTC Our cache find 1953, the year of my birth Interesting spot will have a look at the web page mentioned in the description. Staying in Texas for the night, down by the riverside. This will be our last cache in Q'land for this trip as tomorrow we head back across the border to NSW. It's been great fun up here and we've enjoyed all of it, especially the Mega.
Passing through town, using the dump point, excited to find this cache close by. Even more excited when I found an empty log scroll..... Not FTF for me. this is an old cache. Thanks Rainforest Cookie
Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runciple's Grasshopper, a tassie trekkers pathtag, a sweet - sour pathtag, a grannysmith path tag, a geo achievement 500 caches award, and an f14 Tomcat and a scotch and soda, oh, and a bundle of keyrings that I have collected since caching in WA in August 2013 (current count is 23)

After attending the mega event we decided to head inland for a few days. This was one of several caches found along the way. An interesting spot. The log book was full.

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! So, I attended the Stanthorpe mega at the request of several members of the organsing team. Having been to every event designated "Mega" in Australia up to this time I almost felt an obligation to oblige. I knew I would have fun catching up with the many friends I've made Australia-wide and that caching would be done -- and done it was! These are the finds I made while in the area and I enjoyed all of them despite the rainy and a tad cold weather. I cached with Uni, Shonky, and SX as well as Moneydork throughout the weekend. Thanks to all who placed caches in the region, they were all enjoyable.
So that's what happened to the Easter Bunnie!!!
Nice location - though I'm not sure our black humour about the Easter Bunnie was intended. TFTC
We couldn't help but build a detour to Texas into out MEGA trip as we were caching with SEMIK, who is initially from Texas USA.

Oh so quiet while we visited GZ. Not a car or soul in sight.
Found the cache where we thought it would be. Thanks
Had a look around at the factory, the old machinery and the rail carriages up the road while we were here.

Interesting history. Love Texas such a sleepy town has been good to me this past month. Will miss walking past the freeze works :p
Now heading south on a long trip home, we have the caravan on the back so it's not always possible to stop for a search. Dropped by this one after the nearby Mingoola Park but it was unattempted, we saw it is a 'nasty nano' and there were lots of muggles around. Shame!
Nice hide, sooo quiet...not a soul around...great for caching!...thanks Rainforest Cookie
It was pretty well where we expected but well placed. Fancy exporting rabbits to England - pity we can't get them to take the rest of their rabbits back. TFTC.
Arrived in town; parked nearby; went for a short walk when the name made sense; had a quick look; gerrynewgirl came up with the goods. TFTC
No luck for me here. A few muggles in the area so I did have to rush things along, so maybe I missed it. Thanks anyway.
We were pleased to have the opportunity to visit the other Texas today (we have we to the Lone Star State) and managed to find this cache on our way. A nice new scroll has been inserted into this little sucker. A big thanks to Rainforest Cookie
Im thinking that with about 16 finds this log is only half full at best. So its good to go. Will be checking on it this weekend.
1554. Located and signed 12 noon, funny after being here I felt like some KFC for lunch ! ( ps I didn't get my wish )

Would not have stopped at this place if not for GC site. Thoroughly enjoyed the building and history, can't believe an industry was built on rabbits. Cache found and signed. Thank you.
Progressively working my way south now to go west a little. Started out on the run to Texas at a reasonable hour. Giving the macropod family time to get off the road and back to bed, the live ones that is. Quick find at1130. Very quiet. TFTC Rainforest Cookie
I hadn't been to Texas for 40 years so it was great to see it again. Not much has changed as far as I could see. The locals may not agree of course. I love the sign on the Rabbit Factory. And of course there is no need for a rabbit factory any more, is there? Not after all the rabbit signs we have seen around the Granite Belt area. I bet overseas visitors must find it very strange that we can't keep little cottontails in our state.
This is a great place to bring cachers, especially those with a taste for history, so thanks Rainforest Cookie. Gts a favourite from me.

Ah, another one we were beaten to by Harleyria. Congratulations Harleyria on your FTF. We were glad to be 2nd TF though and appreciated you bringing us here Rainforest Cookie for a bit of local history. An interesting old factory. We found the nastily hidden cache and signed the log. NINO. We dipped a few trackables for miles.
Seems to be my first FTF and my first find in Qld since becoming a Geocacher! TFTC!
