We spoke with the owner of the property and the round house. There has been a lot of development and change to the surroundings with the new roundabout. The cache would now be on private property without the owners permission, but it has disappeared. This needs to either be archived or reworked.
Quick find while in the area for work. This cache is in need of repair. Container is on its last legs! Looks like many attempts of repair with tape but doubt the log will stay dry with all this rain around. TFTC
TFTC. Came to mount barker to complete the out and about mount barker series of caches which I've had my eye on for some time now. Some good camos in the series, mostly quick finds. Thanks
On our way home from Albany, we snuck in here from Denmark, and couldn't resist stopping to look at the round house. There were workers in there today, but we managed to make the find without being ogled by them.
I noted the code. I hope I'll be able to come back and finish off the series. Thanks for the cache The Steicke Family!

After setting up the caravan, we did the tour of the town - caching style.
Picked up all the clues, but not sure about the clue on 'D' as it was not a number.
Will think about it, overnight.
Many thanks for the short series, The Steicke Family.

As mentioned in log the cache lid is broken and has been temporarily repaired. Cache log is dry. TFTH this series is really clever.
Great chance to look lingeringly at this amazing building. Can't wait to have a cuppa there. Great hide. Thanks.
Found cache well and truly wedged into the structure. Once pulled out the lid was found to be broken in half. Got the first aid kit out and applied some tape to it (paper medical tape) for a temporary repair. Cache is in same location but on a metal structure found at GZ. SL TFTC.
Another good find in this series. Historical icons can shift round-abouts!!!
After spending the weekend in Denmark visiting our son and family, we looked forward to completing this series on our way home. Container has been cracked, will need attention.
Fascinating location, never noticed this before even though we've driven by it a hundred times. The lid has a crack in it, so it may need some attention before it gets further damaged. TFTC.
Many thanks for series of caches that took us around Mt Barker highlighting points of interest and the towns history.
Its always nice to read some of the history of the places we see. We have noticed this building before and now we know what its story is.
Thanks for the informative cache.
