After dropping my son at Paintball nearby I headed here for a wander through the bushland. Great place for a walk, only saw one other person while here. All hides found pretty quickly. TFTC
I saw that there was a nice day in between the showery ones so decided to have a go at these. Apologies for the generic log. All caches found in great condition unless otherwise stated. Thank you for the work that went into placing these. TFTC
The geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I today was to head up to Metro to undertake a good walk while collecting a series of geocaches . We chose a cluster of caches that we were going to focus on in the Wellard area . As has become our tradition as we headed up the highway we stopped at the Crooked Carrot for a lovely brunch before continuing our journey . Once nearing our destination which was the Kwinana Loop Trail Banksia Woodland we were not seeing an obvious entrance so in the end we parked up and climbed the fence , once we did this we quickly spotted an entrance .We really enjoyed the walk , the bush was quite dry but beautiful nonetheless and there were several banksias just coming into flower . We were blessed with the amount of bird life around us and the odd lizard or too . We were very glad that it was lizards and not snakes that were around. We appreciate the two different geocachers who had placed these caches giving us a great excuse to visit this area. The caches were a really good variety of types and difficulties which addd to the adventure . All in all we collected 22 traditional caches in this area and only one dnf. We then collected one puzzle cache and one element of an Adventure Lab in the Mandurah area on the way back to Bunbury . Thanks for hiding and maintaining these caches
Going for a little afternoon stroll to find another couple in this area. This was a nice easy start to the walk
A nice peaceful walk this afternoon picking up the caches placed in the area. A successful and enjoyable day out.

Out enjoying a lovely summers evening and enjoying a walk through this area. Once at gz we made a nice quick find a soon had our names added to your log. We returned your cache back to where it resides. It’s always good to do a welfare check on one that hasn’t been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing just fine. TFTC OOH YEH.
A nice walk in the bush with axell33 as the sting of the heat of the day passes and a few caches along the way. Thanks for the hide here OOH YEH.
Caught between two muggle groups at this cache, luckily one turned off the track we had come down

It was the perfect weather for caching today with blue skies and great temperature so I headed out for some walking along the tracks and found mostly this CO’s caches. My GZ matched the hint but there was only camo there and no container. I messaged the CO who promptly put a new one in place. I signed a log and left it in a bag for the CO to find. Thanks OOH YEH!
Cache was missing so it has been replaced with a 200ml sistema. Please make sure it is covered over well when replacing.
It was raining, like set in, constant rain. I really wanted to get out and cache, so bit the bullet, pulled the mountain bike out and rode the bush tracks (in the rain).
Even though it was a bit fresh, I had a great day.
Rapid find here. Picked up a 2002 TB too

Found it. TFTC OOH YEH. Came to this area to do the Geo Jargon series. just couldn't resist the challenge to try for a few more. In this Cache I discovered an old TB "Indy Racer" launched Sept 2002
After coming back to complete a nearby series Patch noticed this one not too far up the track so we headed off for a look. All's in great shape here thanks OOH YEH.
all good here..quiet trail saw a few roos but that was all. cache and log all good tftc
A nice big cache. Such a pleasure to find. Thanks for making it easy for us. We struggle with nanos and Camos.( That rhymes). It was also not far off the track so winner all round.
Classic hide.
I came, I saw, I signed the log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Cache is in good condition.

Day 365 of our 366 day straight challenge. With only one more day to go, I think it's safe to start cleaning up the map close to home. Out today with 3 of the geokids to get some smilies in Wellard.
We had a nice little stroll to this one, and had a nice easy find. Miss 3 enjoyed playing with the dinosaurs while miss 5 took on signing duties. Tftc

Took a bit to get the boys back up the hill but we had fun walking back into this cache and found the cache as soon as we got to GZ.
Thanks OOH YEH for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1479 for me.

A nice quick find here after an early departure from up the road we located the cache signed the log and returned the cache to its home TFTC
Found at 9:24:00 AM.
Ahh, a nice size container after the smalls and micros I have found so far today. And a nice place to walk through before making the find as well.
Thanks for the cache OOH YEH, it was cache number 2304 for me and was number 7 in my run of 8 for today's geocaching effort.
Cheers

A bit further along the track on a perfect caching afternoon led to the last hide in this reserve. All well with cache. Tftc, ooh yeh.
Out for an afternoon ride on my day off, just grabbing a few caches in my new local area. All caches in good condition.

Went for a walk with my mom ooh yeh to collect a few of her caches before a prescribed burn off and signed the log. Tftc
With prescribed burn offs planned for this week I have removed caches where they are going to burn. I will replace containers when the burn offs have finished.
I misread the listing and thought I could stay on the limestone track. Eventually I delved (reluctantly) into the bush and reached GZ. I logged a quick find of a nice big cache. I think a higher terrain could be used here...or maybe it was just that I was wearing shorts in the heat. Thank you again.
As I have a great deal of respect for snakes (i.e. fear), I am trying to do as many bush caches as I can at a time when they are hopefully asleep. I enjoyed the little bit of bushbashing to the cache as a lot of flowers including red and green kangaroo paws are out already.
Found this nice size cache without a problem, SL and returned to the GeoJazz without any slithery meetings. TFTC OOH YEH!

Originally logged under family caching name, clan-wallace, now relogging under my own name.
Another morning planned in Ooh Yeh Territory. Followed the instructions to the letter & were rewarded. With our 600th find in Austalia.TFTC
bush bashing to get this one, dropped of coin tb had a mix up where I dropped it off tho.
After finding the CO 5000 find tribute, I decided to grab a couple more nearby.
A quite walk through the bush on a nice afternoon
Thanks for getting me out and about Oohyeh.

Nice cache. . Found a while ago. . Just logging now. ... With this one you really need to mark your path in. ...I got out OK. .. Because of my phone. .. But turned around a little disoriented after finding it. .. Nice hide. Tftc
Day of caching with grandson Tom from SykesKids and another great bush area. Thanks OohYeh
Not a massive fan of the 80m or so of bushbashing to get to this one, but found it anyway. TFTC.
Had my eyes on this for a while, but I was always in work clothes and there are too many snakes in the summer.
Could see the cache from about 10m away, which made for a nice easy find.
Covered up and on my way.
Well of the path , as described , but not much bashing needed.
Number 4 on the jog day.

After completing the 8 that we had left in the Jandakot Regional Park,
we then moved onto Medina to find a few more.
A good variety of cache hides, and we enjoyed the day.
Many thanks for the cache, OOH YEH.

Keen to find this one today. Parked across the road from the gate - sign said no entry ( spraying Fluazifop). Snuck in to the track anyway, made a hasty retreat when I came across the council van on the track. Another day then
Was out for a dog walk this morning, the first of a few days due to the inclement weather. Ended up walking the long way through the Leda Nature Reserve to grab some caches. TFTH.
Quick find here ... I'd parked at "HOMESTEAD RIDGE HIDE". This was second of 5 caches I did from there. Walked past the closest point on the path to GZ, so did a 97 metre bush-bash instead of 80 metres. SL. TFTH OOH YEH ... nice little walk I'm having through your local area.
While heading home from doing a series just north of here I realised that we were on 197 cache finds. Seeing as I was on my own and geoson and geowife would like to be present when our 200th was found I decided to find a two more before I got home to set up for our 200th. This was a nice easy find and the coordinates were spot on. I am pleased that I was able to find these caches at this time of year and not when the snakes would likely be about. TNLN SL. TFTC OOH YEH.
We didn't venture in here today as there was a sign up saying the paths were closed.
Guess it's due to the recent fire.

[:(!] Went for an afternoon caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar close as possible to GC4D6ZW - (Make a Mark in Wellard) and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter minutes, I had to cross a road that was marked as a construction site and said keep out.

Went caching with my Mum and little brother this morning... I found this one after we bush bashed to it! TFTC OOH YEH
Taking the kids out for a morning walk, I thought this area would be good for young Tyler in his pram as he has not been feeling the best... I was quite surprised when I found I had to ditch the pram and go bush, going on the cache description Of course that was not going to bother us, off we went into the burnt out bush til it became obvious where the cache would be hiding DangerMouse09 was very happy with the find, and even more happy with the charcoal covering over the top! He now knows that you can draw all over yourself and your clothes with it
Thanks OOH YEH for a little adventure in our day... Not sure if I just didn't see the right path or not, but I was very happy the cooler weather is keeping the slithery things away [^] Cache is in good condition and dry. Took TB to continue it's journey

Out flying solo today. Quick find at this one. GPS had me doing a few circles here amongst the smouldering remnants of the recent bushfire. Loved the adventure though. Thanks OOH YEH
Not sure we approached this from the right direction as we drove through a construction site to get to gz. Still it's a Sunday and no workers about to hinder our assault on gz. A quick find with iluvtrekking. Thanks Ooh Yeh

Was a bit distracted by the fire but got to the cache. Signed and replaced as found.
Thanks OOH YEH for the hunt.
Thanks OOH YEH for the hunt.
Made our way to GZ and was distracted by the flames still coming from a fallen tree. Seems the strong wind had fanned the coals into flames. Didn't think it was going to matter much though as it was in the middle of the burnt out area.
After that made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

What another great cache with lots of things inside it!
When we arrived at GZ with wearing the totally
Incorrect shoes we saw that there was still some of the bushes on fire, dunno how... Haha
Opened the cache to see a blank log! Yay!
Once back the the car our white shoes were totally black! oh well!

I came here with MNS13 after we found the other cache. There was some other people leaving as we got here. Mum let me hold the GPS again which was pretty cool. Mum fell over while she was walking which was a bit funny. I found the cache, I really liked the stuff in side of it. Thanks for the cache ooh yeah.
As we approached this one we ran across Maccasreps who beat us to it. We had a short conversation and went on our way. Mr 2 has been unwell the past few days and I knew I was pushing my luck trying 2 caches in one day, needless to say I had to carry him the whole way in and out, (he's a solid little fellow) After we left the path to follow the GPS I tripped over a tree (still holding mr 2) pretty impressed I didn't drop him on the ground, thank god no one saw that, because I certainly wasn't dressed for caching.
We made a quick find of the cache, signed the logs and made some swaps.
Thanks for bringing us out here OOH YEAH, we will return another day to do the other 2.
