Travelling back home to Adelaide after a long weekend in Mildura, I stopped for a few caches. A long search here came up empty. I read a few logs which suggested something I hadnt tried. Sure enough it worked and the cache was revealed. Replaced the cache as found. Thank you Moneydork, for placing Irrigation Intake for the geocaching community.# # #15817 # #

We have been on a road trip to WA and are on the way home. This was a tricky one to start the day after we stayed the night in Renmark. My muggle partner finally made the find after a lengthy search.

TFTC Trigger_Fish your cache Irrigation Intake that we found today. Before the day got much hotter we went out to complete the River Walk AL. A couple of points in realised there was a trad at the first location. Went back and made a quicker find than expected.Find Count: 19061 .

Arriving at GZ it was immediately obvious what our target was going to be. The search was on.Oh wait I can see it but it took a few seconds to work out the extraction.TFTC

Four of us failed to find this one when last in town, five years ago, but my old friends Blingg and Robbo 56 got it two days later.From what they logged at the time it has moved since then, an example of distinct 'cache creep'? Today it was discovered by 'Without a Name' and Soul Oracle' while we were all being misled by the hint.

Caravan trip to the Riverland. Day 9, Berri to Renmark and return.The recent DNFs didn't fill us with confidence and we were about to give up after groping every hole on the thing... when Oliver spotted it (hint is currently inaccurate, it can't be felt). Then to work out how to get into it. Ol went in search of a stick and Wal pulled and prodded the area... and something popped open. Added new log and replaced as found.Fave from us.TFTC

After finishing the Adventure Lab nearby Crane2 suggested looking for this baby. We were almost ready to give up when Crane 2’s strong grip led to success. TFTC

Sorry needs a new log. We didn’t have one with us as it was a spontaneous decision to locate this cache. In fact fairy penguins even had to sign the log with lipstick as we had no pen.

1st circle nothing... read a few logs and was able to get my name on a crumbled piece of paper.. thanks

Too tricky for us!

We enjoyed a walk up to here along the river from the information centre. We saw the cache after a bit of a hunt, then took a bit longer to work out how to access it, but got to it eventually.
Great spot for a cache - both the location and the hide.

Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, caching around where we travel. After a big caching day yesterday, it was nice to tour around a few towns and pick ups one caches along the way. 25 were found today, this cache was one of them.

After some searching around with no luck, read some logs and tried something different which rewarded us with the cache. All good here.

Away for the weekend for some R & G..(Rest & Geocaching!). We are camped in Renmark to try and clear out the town and just do a bit of sight seeing. Today we headed out reasonably early...well okay..9.30ish... to tackle the majority of caches in and around the town. Arrived at GZ expecting a long long search..but happily found the cache after a brief search! Took the TB that was in residence. TFTC

Day 2 of a few days in Renmark checking out the sights and collecting as many hides as I can with a totally uninterested other half.

Most caches were easily found, others not so and a few had gone AWOL. A few needed some maintenance by the owners. Those have had NM logs placed on them.

Day Four: Balranald to Home.

Quite a lot of ground to cover today and so many great caches along the way. I crammed in as much as I could.

A quick stop in Renmark for a FUIC (hard to find in NSW) and an Adventure Lab, and this quick trad too. I don’t usually like little caches on big metal things, but this one is pitched at my level, thanks for that Trigger_Fish.

Headed to the riverland today hoping for my monthly FTF and was pleased to get two. While I was in the area managed to do the new AdLab in Renmark and one trad before finding a couple of newish Wandering Heroes and then finished with nineteen of the On Your Bike series before needing to head back to the little smoke of Adelaide.
While doing the AdLab realized this was very close by. Spent a while looking and feeling and was about to walk away when decided to stand back and think about it. Soon after was adding my stamp to the first of a number of logs in the tin.
