Found while heading out to Renmark and surrounds to do some caching along the Wandering Hero's Series and to see what other interesting sights we can find. TFTC
Spending a few days in Renmark and spending some time caching as well. Quick find. TFTC.
Found by The Empire + HAs we continued along the southern road, the landscape opened up to breathtaking views of the Murray River far below. The road wound along the cliffs, and from our vantage point, the river shimmered in the sunlight, snaking its way through the valley like a ribbon of silver. The sheer limestone cliffs stood tall and weathered, their pale, rugged faces dropping steeply down to the waters edge.Every so often, the trees would part, offering uninterrupted views of the river, framed by the ochre-toned cliffs that added a striking contrast to the lush green vegetation along the banks. The cliffs, carved by millennia of river flow, revealed layers of history in their sediment, reminding us of how the Murray has shaped this land over time. Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish.-M
I've sped (within the speed limit of course) past this one many times but had time to stop today. Great view and clever hide. Log book is full and damp. TFTC # 590
Found on our 14 day road trip through south east South Australia and into the Victorian central west. We also travelled towards Mildura for the PS Series. It was sometimes wet and sometimes windy, but always enjoyable, especially while finding caches.Appreciated the safe parking for the caravan -thank youTFTC
Travelling from Renmark to Mildura today and caching along the highway and roads. Found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
Today saw us firstly finding a few caches around Renmark before we headed east to Mildura - our next port of call as we make our way from Adelaide to Canberra. Also collected most of the caches along the Sturt Highway. Thanks to the COs for the placement of the caches - it is much appreciated.
13287. Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1015. Camped the night in Mildura on the way to Adelaide for the Leap Year Megga. It amazes us how much water has come down with the wet conditions up north. A view worth the stop. SL Tnx Trigger Fish
TFTC Trigger_Fish your cache Here's one for the view that we found today. After spending the last 3 weeks in and around Shepparton we are now on the move , heading to Yorke Peninsula. This is day 3 of or travel time. We left Werrimull this morning heading toward Burra stopping along the way to break up the trip and find some more caches. Fantastic views. Well worth the stop.Find Count: 17493

Found during a road trip via Wentworth, Menindie Lakes, Wilcannia, Cobar, Bourke and Cunnamulla to Charleville and back over 10 days, camping out at some great spots along the way. Met up with e.gregory1 at Bourke and we spent the next four days caching around Cunnamulla and out to Eulo, Yowah and Charleville, before e.gregory headed up to Townsville and I made my way southwards towards home. I camped out next to the Murray at Merbein Common last night and spent the morning caching around Mildura before heading home on the last day of the trip. Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish!
Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find. Lovely view. TFTC.
It was a clever hide and an easy find too. Just the way I like it. Great view too. I think that deserves a fave point! TFTC
Away on a week long geo holiday, travelling with GoodLook. Joined forces with other teams to grab the Paddle Steamer Series and Turtle Series and any other caches we had time for.
Many logs were stamped "The Mob" while we cached as a group and at times we stamped individually.
This was one of the caches found while touring around.

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
Onto day 4 and it was time to make our way from Mildura across the Vic/SA border towards Loxton which would be our base for the next 5 days. We picked up a few caches along the way, travelling along the way was GoodLook, The Drovers, LiB, FeatherTop, FurfacesLL and myself.
A quick stop on the way towards Loxton, lovely view from top, log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the hides Trigger_Fish And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

A great little spot to get out of the cars for a break.
Log was signed The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, Goodlook and myself).
Thanks for placing a cache here Moneydork.

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
The group grew from two to six quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our team “The Mob” now consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves and feathertop joined us on day 4. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
Day 4 it was time to head to Loxton to start on the On Your Bike trail. All puzzles in this series were solved prior to the trip.
This cache was found on our journey from Red Cliffs to Loxton.
Quick stop here to check out the views and of course find the cache.
Thanks for the hide Moneydork and for the fun "The Mob"

A nice spot to stop and stretch the legs.
Most of the caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, and myself), however a handful contain our own caching names or initials.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).
A sincere thanks to Moneydork for placing this cache.

Day 1 in the area, with the main target being the bike series.
This cache was on our way, and we found it hard to resist the stop.
Great view, but the water was very low.
We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.
'The Mob' this time included:- GoodLook, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop
and ourselves.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Trigger_Fish, for us and others to find.

Time to say Goodbye to SA as we head home today.
With camp packed up and a bit of time up our sleeves, fitzy_1965 and I decided to do a few caches around Renmark before we left and a few on the way home.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition unless otherwise stated.

23,348. Found with minniek during our Post-Christmas escape to South Australia.
This trip to South Australia was on again off again due to the changing circumstances in the various states we had to travel through. Finally getting a green light from all 3 states we headed off early boxing day. Day 15 of our adventures had us pack up camp for the last time, grab a final few caches in South Australia, then do the long long drive home to Goulburn (996 Kms) crossing 2 borders (without incident). All caches were found quickly and in good order unless otherwise stated. Next find of the day. A nice quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Moneydork !!

Great views of the River, certainly would amazing when the River Levels are up. Cheers
Another long awaited trip to Mildura has arrived. Getting the "Planets To Align" [time off + cooler weather] was the reason for the big gap between trips here [:o] {Last one being in early May of 2019} but now i am back and eager to go caching here again given the quality of the hides here in Mildura [^]
The last day of Mildura's heatwave... and wasn't it a doozy!! [B)] VERY high humidity and over-friendly flies not to mention drowning in my own sweat meant for a real challenge but i was up to it and this one with the stunning view was 1st cab off the rank for Saturday, February 1, 2020 [^]
I noticed that the cache was unreachable with it's string snapped, so i improvised with a natural tool. 10 minutes later with a wee bit of cussing the cache was soon in hand..... if not prompt ha ha

{ A Brutal [weather] day i'll be glad to see the back of... agreed by lots of Mildurians.
I hope it rains then cool south wind blows in overnight } [^]

Great weekend away in Mildura and surrounds grabbing some fantastic caches and catching up with friends. Drank way too much and felt very ropey all day on Sunday but woke up feeling revitalised for a Public Holiday Monday drive back to Adelaide.
This trip hasn't been about numbers its been about finding quality over quantity and was also great to come away with 7 multi finds as well towards our target of 500, whether we get there this year remains to be seen. Gave away a lot of favourite points here in Mildura some very good caching to be done here and hardly a mint tin in sight.
Saw one brown snake today which gave me the heebie jeebies at least I didn't step on one this time.
Yes this was carefully hidden and the view was good too. TFTC Moneydork.

Thanks for inviting us to stop here Moneydork, the view was unexpected and excellent. Greetings from New Zealand.
Arrived here right on sunset which was spectacular also found the one that went missing it must have rolled down the hill a bit so now there are 2 film canisters there Tftc
What an unexpected view from GZ - quite an interesting one. We placed a film canister with a small paper logbook in it and it was well hidden due to the other one having gone missing.

I am fairly certain I found the location but only the lid was there. The rest is missing.
Suspect we found the location , it might need some maintenance , as I think we found the lid only
Pretty sure this one has gone. Found a pale grey film canister lid at the bottom of the hollow in the post at GZ, but that’s all that was there.
Rocstar70 found the post and the lid.

Apologies for the VERY late log! We found this on our way back from the Clear Waters Mega and have only just remembered to log. TFTC
After spending Easter in Queanbeyan and Canberra for the Oz Mega event we were on our way home to Adelaide and after stopping in Hay for the night we were on our final leg and stopped here to stretch the legs. [^]
A quick find, but the string has broken.
Thanks for the cache Moneydork.

On my way home to South Australia with JJ52, this seems like a good spot to stop and stretch my legs and of course get a smiley.
Sadly this one needs some love, I have propped it up but needs some attention before it is lost.
Thanks to Moneydork from mogni

Set off this morning to log 3 states in 3 day.. Mission complete. Quick easy find and the view is definitely worth the stop. Log was filled so we added a new log sheet. TFTC
#3317 First time in SA and this area looks weird. At first I thought "I ain't puttin' my hand in there!" But cache was an easy retrieval. Visiting Adelaide for 5 days from Canberra on this very hot summers day. Found a total of 76 caches. TFTC Moneydork.
Another day out finding caches while on a geocaching trip with tmann421
Really enjoying all the sites and the history we are seeing

Nice quick stop - we were worried it might be gone with the work laying the purple pipes but a bit away and all safe and sound.
