Cache checked, it has been decimated, possibly by friendly fire.I will get it up & going today & move its location.
On the way home and I have been meaning to finish off this series. Found 5 of the clues and then the ahah moment. Same as another muddie cache. Log signed and off to find another one. Unfortunately not able to do the final, as I can't find the clues from the others in the series. LOL. Thanks Graeme for all your efforts in placing this great series. A fave of course
Family really enjoyed this spot. Spot may have been muggled as a cache was in the open missing a lid. Placed with care to keep dry. Thanks for this location and the creative log.
Nice little spot. Found a couple of the decoys before I found the real log. Very creative log, was all ready to bemoan that I couldn't find this log that people were talking about (I had imagined something different!) good one!
Easy find thanks to the hint on our trek around the lake. Loved the log, but please note it is nearly full. Geokids did some swapping. Thanks Mud brick.
A nice easy find on our way to our Tassie holiday. We decided to kill some time as the boat got delayed a few hours. So we picked out this like as a good spot and I am glad we did. We managed several caches and a good walk with our boys.
Another find made by the youngest Fergzter with a bit of a nudge in the right direction. A great walk this has turned out to be. Thanks for placing this one too Mudbrick.

Found whilst out caching with Geosister team MegUA.. Not what we were expecting with so many fav points.. Nice log TFTC
I loved this! Such funny memories made here today. Without giving too much away, it was great to see team members each claiming the find, but exhilarating to discover the logbook - my first of its kind and def worth a FP. I did enjoy the cache notes here too; very interesting.
TNLNSL returned as found. TFTC

Finally completed the cherry lake series with this cache. Yellowdaisy135 was with me and gave a hand to me. TFTC
Wonderful day for traversing Cherry Lake. Weeds everywhere! Bird life too. Pleasant little cache. Thanks.
Very interesting log book here. Not sure how often it would need replacing though. TFTC
4/11 we are getting the snake stomp down to a fine art now - pretty sure it may have contributed extra steps to my fitbit. Like a family of marching soldiers we stomped our way to the hide and found it. 10YO Geokid eyed up the log - what a prize he thought!, then realised what it was - so fun! We made our mark, re-hid and marched onward - still just the odd muggle here and there. what were they all doing today - honestly delightful weather, lovely location - still - made our search easier!
Found it after some waiting for muggles to pass. Took a bouncy ball, left a football keyring. Scared the crap out of a muggle deep in thought when I appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
TFTC, and the clever log.

What a clever measure logbook. Naomi was about to exchange it for a treasure until I opened it. TFTC
After picking up a few in the HX area both Mel & I decided upon a quick walk around the lake - HAHA and quick walk ended up taking us across the other side of the lake - This is the first time I have made the effort to walk it - well worth the effort.
The hide:
A neat little hide, one I have seen before, thou this one was better executed and a lot more interactive. However, the hide appeared as thou it had been muggled.
** NOTE **
Perhaps CO could check in on hide to confirm - I did what I could to clean up and return as best as I could - thou may not be the way the CO intended.

Finally got back to this one - it's taken a while.
Took our time, read the clues & oldest geokid had his hands
on the log for a minute or 2 before he even realised.
Awesome hide - very, very clever.
Just goes to show that caching late in the day with tired
kids equates to finding the cache, but not signing the log.
So this time we did it properly - log signed.
Favourite.
TFTC - awesome.

Great diversion I was going too fast around the lake, this made me stop and think.

Waited until a few muggles passed before we snuck in here. Lots of decoys to keep us entertained, but the real cache was found fairly quickly too. At one stage another group of muggles approached on the nearby path, so we just froze and they had no idea we were here. Continued on our business after they had gone by. Signed the log on the other side. Thank you mudbrick, for a lot of fun here.
Found by Mary & David at 1630. Haven't seen such a collection of rose-coloured fish in quite a while. Tremendous fun. Not much room left on the current side of the log, but there's a whole new side waiting. Our thanks to mudbrick.
Decided to head out late in the afternoon for a walk around Cherry Lake with Geofamily. We loved the effort that had gone into this. Hopefully we collected enough clues for the Mystery Cache. TFTC & the series!!!
In Melbourne working & had just finished work. Went to look at a boat place & then decided to stop in at this lake for a walk around & collect some geocachers along the way. Wet & cold, lets hope I make it all the way around. Enjoyed this one, just to make it a little different to the others. TFTC
Out and about today with Mudbrick and Bentley Parker in tow on a beautiful sunny Sunday. Joined the CO for a maint run whilst he stood back and watched me poke around for his hides! A great way to finish up the weekend.
Have been fooled by this hide once before by the same CO so new just what to do. An innovative way to hide a log - love it!

LOL, awesome! I'm not sure I've ever 1.4x as much fun before when realising how this one had been laid out. Brilliant idea. TFTC!
I'd had my eye on this series for a while now and today the chance arose to go for a bit of a drive out this way, so I packed the bikes and 5 year old in the car and we headed off. I didn't even realise this reserve and walking path existed but it's a beautiful space and a nice way to spend a sunny winter afternoon. Not that many people around so we had the path mostly to ourselves which allowed us to move around at a gentle pace to enjoy the scenery and the interesting range of different geocaches. What a different and enjoyable hide that initially had us scratching our heads before a number of different finds and finally the log. Loved the challenge, a favourite from us. Thanks for the cache mudbrick.
What a great cache, we have seen some good ones and this is in our top 5 of all time. Funny thing is we kind of stumbled upon it...... loved the comment from Desira-Peters Crew........ so true
Just loved this one, I struck it lucky here. Really enjoying these hides.

Found with The 2 Wanderers. Ah, a clever one, but we were not fooled. Giving this a favourite because it made me laugh. Left friendship braid. TFTC

By the amount of little round marble shape poos about there could be a rabbit or two about. Thanks mudbrick FTC.
My daughter found this one in a flash. We absolutely loved this one and it is definitely a kid involved cache!! With littlemsminty and Sierra117 TFTC
Manzie and I headed out today to complete the caches surrounding Cherry Lake and have a nice walk in the process. When we started our walk there were a lot of muggles around enjoying a barbecue. Please don't let them all start walking around the lake anytime soon ... It was at this cache that the muggles started passing in earnest. Nooo! Of all the caches here, it had to be this one. As if it wasn't hard enough already ... So, distracted by muggles, it was slow going, so slow that manzie and I decided to abandon the task and move on without making the find. Clouds were threatening rain and we were now past the point of no return. We had to get going if we were to stay dry. Later, on the way home from the lake, I had a look at the clues I had gathered at GZ in conjunction with the hint and the penny dropped. A quick return to GZ saw me soaking wet with the cache in hand in no time at all. It was as I had suspected—if only I had [this text had been removed to maintain integrity of hide] when I was there earlier ... Woohoo—smilie acquired! TFTC!
I found this cache today at 10:00am as number 4 of 17 on my Altona Morning Ramble. I can't say too much about this one but my cache journey went from initial disappointment to bewilderment to curiousity to a great laugh. I was gotten and I loved the journey. Thanks from D B-A.
I'm really enjoying this series....the effort put into the cache containers is awesome and really enjoyable. Coords pretty much on and a quick find was made. TFTC
For Labour Day, the GeoFamily decided they wanted a geocaching day. Looking around Melbourne, we decided on Cherry Lake and all the caches in the area. This one was our fifth find for the day. We found it at 13:06 PM. We absolutely loved this cache. When getting near the GZ, we found a cache - no we did not, more looking around. We found the cache - no we did not. Some more looking. We found the cache - no we did not. More looking around. We found the cache; but where is the log. More looking around. We found the log. Signed it. We took a hippo and a koala and left a balloon and a sanitizer. TFTC. This one gets a favourite point from me.
There it is, you beauty. Hang on, something's missing. Where's the ??? ???? Well what have we here.... Something is coming back to me now. I have seen this type of hide before... and what do you know, that too was by a bloke named mudbrick... Great to see another one of these clever hides. A fave point ( again !! ) from me. TFTC mudbrick.
Whilst Mrs One-eyed was out at her annual lunch with old school chums, my Son In Law, Imapom and our Daughter Mrs Imapom and their little Jack R Woody, spent a lovely afternoon around the Cherry Lake.
This one had us tricked , but after some careful thinking located the cache okay.
Very Tricky.

My mother-in-law Mrs One-eyed was attending a school reunion close by in Footscray. Surprising they had schools that long ago. Anyway, my father-in-law One-eyed, Mrs Iamapom and Woody the Geo-Dog and I went out to grab a few caches.
Had us a bit confused for a while, but with close investigation, log book was located. What a clever cache idea. TFTC

An enjoyable challenge working this one out. I think I have signed a cache before in this many a few years ago. Was it one of yours too?
Thanks mudbrick

LOL! I came here on my own and was concerned about muggles, plus I was hot, thirsty and needed to go to the bathroom! But this clever cache had me! I kept laughing out loud!!!
Were here on passing holiday and collecting caches, what a great series, seen plenty of rabbits along the tracks, butterflies fluttering around. variety of hides and techniques, when we started it the weather was cooling down after a HOT day and as we were half way it started to rain, how refreshing.
