Was staying at Dwellingup as i volunteer on HVR. Popped out here to find this one and drove straight to the cache. Found the cache but the bag and log were stuffed so replaced with new and signed the log. Thanks for the cache Zodiakhorizon
Out and about again, a weekend getaway camping at Marrinup Townsite - even though it’s disappeared. After a freezing night emerged out of the van, then went for a long walk to the nearby Falls. The family co tiniest back to the van and I went to this hide. Coords were exact and a quick find here. No mountain bikes encountered along this stretch of the Munda Biddi.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

After 2019 we start another long trip in Australia. Geocaching must not be neglected. Many caches show us the most beautiful sides of Australia, off the beaten track. Your cache led us here. Thank you for your effort to hide a cache. Best regards from stettfurter
Today we went to Dwellingup. A beautiful town, which we got to see here. Afterwards we went to the 16 POW round. Great what the owner has put here for cans and an interesting and beautiful area. That's how we love it!

Today TaurusSix and I wanted to combine a good bush walk into our geocaching activity. We looked at the map and honed in on this area just outside Dwellingup. We had noted this series when it came out a few months ago and had been keeping our eye on it . Today it certainly fit the bill to meet our dual requirements. Having read up on the area we were really keen for our days adventure. The weather was quite decent so made for an enjoyable day all round. We came up from Bunbury at a reasonable time via Pinjarra onto Marrinup. In the early stages there were a few muggles around, a combination of motor bikers, mountain bikers and campers as we got nearer to the POW Camp and then the walk though we had it pretty much to ourselves which was lovely. This area is fascinating the history and the natural bush, along with the well maintained infrastructure all added to the enjoyment. It is another good example that if it was not for geocaching we probably would never have known about this place.
This was our fifth cache find of the day. E left our car parked at the intersection and walk the three hundred and 50 metres to the gz. Lovely walk, great bush around here and an excellent spot for a geocache. Soon had cache in hand , logged and replaced and a pleasant stroll back to the car. TFTC zodiac horizon and blondie

We parked at the top of the road and walked in. We picked up two vodka bottles, a corona bottle and several beer cans along the way. At GZ the cache was found no problem and I picked up something better, a pathtag!
Easter Monday caching with Cirrus_WA, grabbing a few around Pinjarra, Waroona and Myalup. I also placed a few of my new path tags out.
This is my 1805 find.
Thank you Zodiakhorizon for placing and maintaining this cache.

Having escaped lockdown in Sydney due to a requirement to work, I left Darwin for a nine-day holiday in Broome, then headed down to Perth for ten days. During my time in Perth, I spent three days in Dwellingup and surrounds. It was a glorious part of the world, and reminded me a bit of country Victoria, so it felt like home.
Pilgrimer and I decided to do a bit of hiking in the local area, and the three geocaches here were the perfect excuse. Photo is of a trackable that I'm taking around the country, from Sydney to Melbourne, anticlockwise. Thank you for bringing us to these lovely tracks, Zodiakhorizon & Blondie!

After riding the Marrinup MTB loop headed over to this (though made a wrong turn following Grey Rd). There are some great bicycle tracks around here. There was a click-click chair waiting at GZ for the next camper. TFTC.
In the area for a bike ride, which was curtailed by a prescribed burn. Grabbed this cache after a few minutes. Thanks for the hide!
Came out to Dwellingup with my 2 grandsons and found 3 caches before we went in search of camping spots.
This one had me going around in circles before I stopped and looked at where I would place a cache. Well it wasn’t there but I eventually found the sneaky little hide.
Paper was wet but still managed to right on it with my Tank pen.

Headed out today with Cravo10 to Lane Pool Reserve and the Nanga Brook area to complete some caches that we have wanted to get for a long period of time.
Great day out in the bush, finding several caches which hadn’t been done since 2018 was a great thrill.
Put the car through its paces and it came out in good shape.
Thanks to the COs for their caches we had a great day.

Great camping spot nobody camping here on a long weekend. Pulled up at the camp and went looking for the cache and hubby in the car relayed the footy score to the passing ultra marathon runners.
Out with W.A.Team for Sunday lunch at the Blue Wren and to collect some caches. What a secret little camping spot. Thank you for taking us there.
Log wet. Replaced with brown paper. And replaced where i found it. Thanku for the cache
Thank you for the find. Sadly the log book is waterloged. May need some maintenance.

Cache can found without any trouble.

Originally logged under clan-wallace. Geohubby wants his own caching name so guess who is relogging the lot for him?
We set off early this morning as we planned to meet some goods friends in Boddington for lunch. Well we thought we would try for a few that we had been to pooped (and inexperienced) to do when we were last down this way to catch the iconic CHOO CHOO. This was one of them, no problem once you sort out the correct road in. TFTC
I had been planning to complete the Munda Biddi Trail from end to end for some months now and the time had finally arrived for the adventure . I had thirteen days of mountain biking to get back to Perth from Albany and was able to collect a few geocaches along the way .
A HUGE thanks to Zodiakhorizon for placing this cache here, it certainly helped break my trip up and gave me some respite from my seat [^].

Hi there Zodiakhorizon.
We found your cache **"ZH & Blondie go camping - Marrinup!"** at 1:03:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 14998.
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 10 caches today & DNF'd 2. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We teamed up with richlink, Everlasting and sevabo today to enjoy the bush land and caches in the Jarradale area. We really appreciated the effort and thought that has been put into these caches, well done Zodiakhorizon. We signed the logs using our team name for the day R.I.S.E.
The rain was chucking it down this afternoon [:o]
And here was I looking for a campsite
I saw this cache and its promise of a nice place to roll out the swag for a night
No point going to Marrinup !!
Sure it looked empty of campers, but it is also empty of firewood for the campfire
In the rain, I was going to need a fire to dry out by
I rolled the geomobile to a stop and discovered the perfect camp for the night
And heaps of wet, soggy firewood for a camp fire
Not to worry !!
"If" knows how to get a campfire going in any weather.
No !! It does not involve petrol or TNT
Fire lighters are the first step
But you still need some dryish kindling to get the blaze going
The cache logbook could help get me fire going
So off I trotted in the rain to find the cache
Well that was easy !!
Back at camp I soon had the tarpaulin up over the camp and set about lighting me fire
Nah !! I didn't use the logbook for kindling
A stroll in the rain soon provided all the dry stuff I needed.
Jarrah trees are wonderful sources of burnable stuff due to their bark.
Just peel some off the downwind side where it is still dry
OK !! That's firestarting lesson 1 over.
TFTC.

Walked in from the Marrinup campsite and found this campsite and the cache where it was meant to be.
Found at 12:06:00 PM.
Whew, not sure I would like to camp here too much - that ground seems awefully rocky and hard! Arrival after a detour from the Hotham Valley Railway series saw rudi63 make a fast find.

After a long absence from caching for various reasons, today was the day where I got to go out for the day, and as it turned out it proved to be a very successful day.
Mr. Wileyclan rang and suggested we attempt the CHOO CHOO (Hotham Valley Rail Way) power trail; armed with the Nissan XTrail, lots of water and a determination to complete this series in a day, off we went.
Found quickly, not sure I could convince the other half to camp here
Thanks for the cache [^][:o)]
This is cache 45 of 106 for today

Found it. Scouring the route for the choo choo series and picking up a couple of traditionals. TFTC.
After doing a couple of laps of the Marrinup circuit I thought the riding around this cache would be a bit easier, but even the Munda Biddi has its gravelly/rocky moments! Quick find once I had chucked the bike down at the camping area. Really great spot, I could feel the serenity. TFTC!
Grabbed this little fella while cruising around the area on my bike. Loved the area and really enjoyed my ride.
So, what was initially meant to be a Kayak paddle out to Garden island (a bit problematic at the moment due to the missing Malaysian Airlines Aircraft activities on the Island) has turned into an Ooh YEH! 4WD adventure. So here i am tagging along with Ooh Yeh! and Furnsy.
Bush bashed 400 meters thru prickle bushes, found and logged the cache, and a 200 meter bush bash back to the Jeep.
Thanks for the Cache
Parked the Jeep on the road near the cache. Bush Bashed thru the prickle bushed for 400 meters, found and logged the cache, and then bush bashed 200 meters back to the Jeep.
Much merriment and banter thoughout!

Had a day of caching with Mr OOH YEH and Mr Luna Maya today. We set out in OOH YEH's Jeep shortly after 6am, picked up Luna Maya and headed for the Dwellingup/Nanga area. The first find of the day was logged at 7:42am and the last at 5:35pm, so it was a solid day and a good time was had, with a couple of 4-wheel drive mini adventures, a BBQ at Lanes Pool Reserve, a couple of short hikes, a few laughs, 18 finds for me and only one DNF. Overall, a succesful day's caching except that we couldn't do all of the caches on the to-do list due to forestry activity in one particular area - though we did have a bit of an adventure attempting to get into that area.
Early on the aganda were the caches in the Marrinup area ... OOH YEH parked a couple of hundred metres from this one, we bush-bashed our way in on a bit of a zig-zag route, Luna Maya made a quick find on arrival at GZ and we took a straight line back to the Jeep after signing the log. TFTH Zodiakhorizon & Blondie

I wanted to take the jeep out for the day and put it through its paces so I got a couple of mates together and hit them up with this idea lets go to dwellingup and do the Nanga series and grab what we can along the way .......Firnsy Mr luna maya and myself set of early and hit the trail ...This one was our second we had to park and bush bash our way in but it was a quick find once we got there TFTC
Camped at Marrinup and planning to stay almost a week as we re-sort our caravan for our trip arour Oz.
After lunch decided maybe we would hunt this one down in case anyone was to be there over the coming long weekend. Quickly detected the cache then dashed back to the main campground as family had arrived and we werent there to greet them
Cache in good order.
TFTC Zodiakhorizon, plan on finding many more of your caches as we travel further onwards

Headed out to Dwellingup today for a bit of a drive & somehow ended finding a few caches around these parts With temperatures in the 40's we were very happy to find a spot not far from GZ... Campsite was deserted today which allowed for a quick hunt of the prize! TFTC Zodakhorizon [^] Cache was in good condition & dry.
Out for a MTB session and overnighter with Sparrowman including a night ride at Marrinup.

Had planned for a day off today, other than some cache maintenance... however circumstances changed and here I was on the road again searching for more plastic under shrubbery!
After doing a nearby cache we wandered further down these dirt tracks to this one - and someone else also had the idea that this was a good camping spot! There was a chap sitting next to his camp trying to get his chain saw up and running... and we debated about searching for the cache with an audience, so we gave him the low down on what we were up to and he seemed most interested.
Then we headed to GZ with a bit of a sinking feeling when spotting all those likely hiding spots, but thankfully we found it very quickly with the coords spot on.
Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache Zodiakhorizon.

Headed into town to do a bit cache maintenance before collecting urch for a caching foray - no set agenda, just see where whimsy would take us. Found the track in to this one whilst heading out to the POW camp, so a quick detour and we were soon very close to gz. A couple of muggles were camped nearby, but we found the cache, signed the log, and replace all as found without a problem. Thanks Zodiakhorizon
Once we found the campsite the cache was quickly found. I think we took the wrong track and approached this one the hard way. Even on this very wet miserable day the dirt bikers were out. SL TFTC.
Lovely spot. Quick find here with good co-ords. Beware of trail bikes if walking along the track. The speed they were going didn't give us much time to get out the way.

Out camping with chooke over night. Ended up camping at this location as it was actually ideal. Found out that we weren't too prepared for the first time. Found this quickly. We also cleaned up what rubbish we found there when we left. Tftc and the campsite location
Was heading to Dwellingup for a nights camping with Sgtant when we saw this cache, so we decided to stop by and check it out. We loved the area and decided to stay the night here instead. Thanks Zodiakhorizon for bringing us here.
Nice little out of the way spot! We actually went the wrong way initially but figured there must be another way when the track we were on in the 4wd turned into about a metre wide. T4TC Zodiakhorizon!
A nice spot to camp, would be very peaceful. Quick find of container due to spot on co-ords. Upgraded from the Magellan ZH?
Thanks ZH and blondie not only for the cache but for directing us here when we were looking for somewhere to camp made good use of the fireplace cooked 2 minute noodles for dinner and a couple of beers mmmmm so peaceful!
Darn it, so close... We were coming to Marrinup today to ride the mountain bike track, and I saw that this cache was unfound as of yesterday, so I had high hopes for a FTF, but found I was pipped at the post.
I rode up here after doing a lap of the track, and found the cache without trouble.
This is a nice looking camp site though that I think we will check out in a few weeks, as the townsite camping area is usually packed, and noisy too.
Thanks for the cache ZH!

Chwiliwr and I were out for a day of caching and called in to find this cache. Nice spot you camped at ZH. GPS had us at the wrong spot at first but settled at the right spot soon after and we found the cache OK from there. Found that the log was blank so *FTF*.
