Parked neaby, grabbed some lunch and headed over towards the GZ. Hmmm, it's not up here I see.
Took the plunge and soon arrived at the actual GZ where the cache was quickly found and the log was in hand.
Thanks for another one.......

The Pirates of the Carolina's and I decided to cache our way down I-77 from Statesville to Huntersville. Afterwards we cached our way back up Lake Norman on the western side. Parked in the wrong lot at first. A quick find after a short walk. What a gorgeous day for caching. This was my '30th' find of the day. Thanks 'MAPAsearching' for a fun time in the area.
Teamed up with Feathered Friends for a day of caching. This is one of the 62 caches we found.
Had a great time and enjoyed the area. TFTC

Checked several approaches and found one that was a little marshy but not too difficult.

This was quite interesting. I missed the turn, so ended up at the gas station. I circled around the road and came to the lower parking level by the gym. This was only a hundred feet down a hill and tall weeds. I didn't think Diana would want something like that, nor was I particularly in the mood for that sort of bushwhack. We got back in my car and went back to the gas station. From there, we took a more leisurely path to the cache.

Quick grab after enjoying a pretzel nearby. A little wet getting to gz but cache is in good shape. TFTC
Break in bwtn storms, but wore the right shoes. Thanks for the local hides to help fill in my daily grid
Well, even though we've had our fair share of rain lately, we still ventured down by the river in office attire and shoes. Not a problem. We encountered a couple of squishy spots, but easily navigated around them. Found the container with ease and marked up the logsheet accordingly. Thanks for the hide, MAPA! (428)
