As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

I'd found this one some time back. Noticed some recent DNFs, so thought I'd call by for a look. No joy today. With the last find 18 months ago, and the CO seemingly no longer active, I think it's archiving time.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
No luck for me today. Oh dear. Searched for quite a while with team geocacher Mr. T. I had an idea what I might be looking for but no joy today.
Found a container and a log. not an easy area....made it in the end... thanks rolofant
Holidaying in the area with tmann421 having fun collecting some caches along the way.
A nice quick find for us here. TFTC

Another good find while around the area with Just-Lookin.
We soon found the cache in the dark tonight .
As noted the log needs replacing.

Nice them:-) Just making sure I've grabbed all my locals today! Log soaked so couldn't sign, see pic. TFTC:-)
When you have the chance needs new bag and log as hole I bag and log really wet. Cheers:-)
Soggy. Log is going mouldy too. This one could do with a new log and bag and maybe a rethink on how to keep water out.
Great twist though, so I hope you're able to sort it, it's worth keeping.

Found the decoy, which is surprisingly dry for "cache" with a lid but no container (the paper is just wedged into the lid, not sure if it was always like that or needs repairs).
After a short wander I spotted what HAD to be the cache. Sadly the top was up and the bag full of water. I'm sitting on the nearby bench with the log unrolled next to me in the hope that it'll dry out a bit. The bag is upside down over a branch. I'm not holding my breath though, it's a bit chilly for drying!
Anyway, TFTC (it was a clever twist on what I was expecting).

Cool cache. Replaced back where we think it should be. Object was lying out on ground.
Found with injeanious, we also enjoyed playing on the merry-go-round, and the swimgs. Found a decoy too, lots of fun, TFTC!
Haha, loved the decoy. Replaced the real cache, but the log book is damp and a little exposed, and the bag has a hole in it. Tftc.
#17. Neat idea for a cache, though it hasn't dried for a while by the looks of it. TFTC!
This was the eighth day of my fifteen day trip to go to the Christchurch Mega. This one had me going for a while, then I started a methodical search and found the cache. TFTC.
Tried to fashion a new lid. Might not work but it has been surviving without it
Found instantly in the sort of container I was expecting. Nice hide but the lid seems to be missing. Tftc.
Interesting cache hide, don't think I have seen something like this before and missed as I was to focused on another object near GZ

In Christchurch for a few days. Second time here, tricky hide. Thanks for this cache.
What a cool cache!! I walked past it several times an a few times staring directly at it! Mini cacher wanted a cache on our way home from Go pottys kidsfest event way over cashmere. This was our lucky target. TFTC
Our cache for the day and a bit of a drive in more traffic than I would have thought for a Sunday. Got to GZ eventually and it was a quick spot for Chelzea. Nice quick sign and replace. TFTC1
2nd attempted cache for the day. Once we saw it it was easy! But... We forgot our pen! Luckily there's a diary nearby that had one such a beautiful park. Just sat on the bench for a while
A couple of kids and adults were playing cricket in the end of the park closest to the playground, but the part where the cache was hidden was quiet and out of sight. Spent some time circling around the trees, before something odd struck my eye.
I think the cache still needs some maintenance, some kind of lid or cover over the hidden log book would be good.

At first glance there didn't appear to be many hiding places but we zero'd in on this one pretty quickly. Not sure how long it will last as there is no lid. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
A quiet park with no one about so we could take our time looking. We wondered what sort of place it was over the fence. Found with debsnz
After a bit of going around in circles under the trees I soon spotted it. TFTC (1268)
In CHCH for the weekend to celebrate the "Old Man's" 80th birthday and of course one just has to squeeze in a few caches.
Dad's place (but one back) had a cache in a reserve less than a stones throw from his back fence, so with him now a resident of the new and growing establishment through the fence and this cache just over 100m away from his house, it was only 'right' to go and find this one as well. My caching sister and her two kids (on holiday from the USA) accompanied me. We reached GZ and started to have a look. Reading aloud the cache description must have given my Sis a clue because she found it shortly thereafter - much to her pleasure in trumping the kids.
Log soaked! and not able to be unrolled Fortunately I had included my caching emergency kit in my travel bag so popped back to Dad's place for a new log. Replaced the wet log with a new waterproof paper one and returned to its very clever [^] hiding location.
Well done on the hide, gets a fav point. TFTC

Although we had an idea what we should be looking for, this cache was almost a DNF however eventually we spied what we sought. The log was fairly wet, and there is nothing securing the lid. TFTC
TFTC. it was a lovely Christchurch afternoon I decided to go and look for a couple of caches.
I had a wander about GZ as as my GPS tried to settle down. No good. So I took a seat had a rethink and headed out to tree clear land from where I could get a bearing.
Now what?? Oh tricky tricky. Nice cache placement.
The weather has got to the log, which was damp, but I still managed to sign it.
Thanks Chch Falcon for the cool cache.

I had been here before, in winter-time; things have been cleared significantly since then. What a lot of interestingly shaped trees! .
Walked around for a bit, sat down, then had an a-ha moment.
Great hide. Lid was off but managed to put it back on as well as return the cache to its plastic bag.
A favourite point from me.

Took a bit of searching, but one pair of sharp eyes amongst us finally spotted it. Nice.
#6963. Rellies were staying with a friend close to this cache. I'd had a quick look by myself in mid-Dec, but didn't spot it. This time Troodles was with me, and after a bit of a search her eagle eyes spotted something interesting. Great camo. TFTC.
Didn't take too long to spot, but getting the logbook out was another matter as I managed to lose my tweezers today (I think they are somewhere in Hagley Park ) StreetWalker ably assisted with the log retrieval.
There was no lid, but we found something on the ground which looks like it's the missing lid so popped it on top. May require a CO check to see if it requires TLC.
Nice hide, thanks for the effort.

This is a lovely wee park! Found the cache, but was unable to get the log out. I left my log on a wee bit of paper that I stuffed on top. TFTC
Found instantaneously by LG . We have used this location for a cache before (magnetic snail on a tree ) the locals hated the attention the area and it soon went missing . Hope your cache lasts longer than ours Thanks for the time and effort in your cache LGM
Well that took some finding but we got there in the end. Got the lid back as well as possible but it isn't very secure.
This is the first one ive ever found. I did have help finding it. Someone was there who had already found it and gave me a clue
Searched for this yesterday at smoko. Doing the landscaping next door and wondered if there were any caches nearby. Today I went right to it. Pretty cunning hide, thanks
Found it just before the rain came in. I think the lid may be missing. TFTC
Was about to give up on this one. Read the previous logs, thought about it and bingo! TFTC

Hanging out on this side of town for a bit now, so time to find caches over this side!!
It had been a long day so I was keen for something quick and easy - but not too quick and easy incase I almost miss a day or sth!
Decided that although by the logs this looked like a tough one, I could totally do it!!
Arrived in the dark, and made my way on into the park. Decided that the best searching method would be to pick a spot, and then search in a line from there... But after reaching the end of the line, I still didn't have the cache! Stink!
So I decided to return back the other way (far out there are heaps of slaters on those trees)
Until I hit the tree I had started searching at... And what was this?! Right over next to that in the other direction?! Lol... As soon as I saw it I knew it was it !! Nice camo!!!

A very well named cache. Spotted it straight away once the GPS settled down. TFTC
Clever little hide. When will we stop assuming we know where it is and read properly. lol. TFTC.
I must be getting better at Chch Falcon caches as my GPS and I went right to it. Now if only I could say the same for the puzzle published tonight....
978 - I'm staking my claim to a smilie! I arrived and looked for the "pot of gold" I was sure was here seeing as there was a fortune at stake . I had a bit of company for a while so chatted with the muggles about the building going up. Finally was able to strike it rich once they left. Nice, TFTC
A great wee cache, Very clever. Took a moment or two but got it in the end. TFTC. Cheers Bo
What a clever little cache, had a good search in all the usual places without success and then thought hmmm I must be missing something then I spotted it! Well done on the hide.
5249. A quick and easy find in spite of young muggles building a tree house nearby, worker muggles building a rest home through the fence, and a very clever hide. Most impressed! Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
Not sure which geocacher would put a log back without the bag they found it in but that certainly does not help keep a log dry. New log, new bag and some trash taken away today. All ready for you to get a stake of the fortune
Found easily enough but the cap was off so the log was damp. managed to find it amongst the leaf litter but a more waterproof solution may be in need.

Another after dark hunt to keep my 301 day streak going. GPS got bounced around under the trees and I'd left the geocaching torch behind and only had the pitiful spare from the glovebox. Was almost ready to give up when gave it another couple of minutes and widened the search. Was rewarded with a flash of some camouflage... not big enough for geocoins or TB's but another smiley. TFTC.
Wet grass and a digger working over the fence didn't stop the hunt. Took a few minutes to find, but got there in the end. on a lovely sunny day for caching around Christchurch. Thanks for the hide.
GPSr took me to another example of GZ and had me stumped for a while until the GPSr decided that it had played silly buggers for long enough and took me to it. Certainly a lot of activity over the fence.
We remember the park from a prior cache here. Quite difficult to retrieve log with fat fingers. TFTC.
I hunted around GZ in a puzzled state for well over my regulation 10 mins. I was on the verge of giving up when I noticed something. Duh! I should have seen that much earlier. Oh well, better late than never. T4TC.
So who needs a hint with a cache like that!! Not seen one quite like that before. Replacing was quite a problem but all OK in the end. Thanks.

Found on the way home from work. Easily found once the GPS settled on GZ. TFTC. Well disguised.

A return visit, this time with another pair of eyes. A more focused search turned up the cache. Nicely done.
