On second thoughts, I see I have had to replace this one quite a few times over the years, so perhaps it's better to let it go and free up the spot for someone else. Thanks to all finders and hunters.
Thanks to a kindly local cacher for replacing the cache for the time being. Play on!
This is the third time in the past two weeks we have tried to find it and no luck. Even bought others along to try help find it.
Doesn't sound too good because it shouldn't be that hard to find. I'll disable until I can get over there. If any previous finder happens to see this log and is able to check it out for me, that would be excellent!
It seems I picked the right time to try this one, tide was out and not lapping, although the cool water on my feet would have been really nice in this hot weather (which I'm not used to). from the lower angle I had a look and look, I was not too keen to stick my hand in or under too many things as you never know what you might find (that you don't want too). I tried from another angle and quickly had the cache in had. Lovely spot for a beautiful day. TFTC
Another quick find almost dark now we found it without getting our feet wet tftc
Out and about for some geocaching today with DiamonJS in the Wynnum/Lota area. All up we were able to log 9 finds before attending the January get-together Event.
The final cache of the day for us. We walked along to GZ and saw that we had a high tide to deal with - wet feet the order of the day. Mrs RoddyC doesn't mind shedding shoes and socks for a geocache. In the meantime, I wandered along the top, but soon Mrs RoddyC points me to something to look at. Yep! That's the cache, but it took a short while to remove it. Nice one. Now to dry Mrs RoddyC's feet.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 5.30pm on 23rd January 2017. TFTC

Today, teamdfl and myself, have planned a BIG day geocaching around this part of Brisbane with a few target caches planned and finding a few others as we go along.
We had our first find around 7 am and our last find was about 4 pm with approximately 20+ finds for me.
With both of us having cached around here before we sometimes had the case of this cache is for me and that cache is for you.
A little detour to find this one today.
There was a Pirate ship here last time I tried to find this one. A few TOO many muggles (with swords) around at the time.
Thanks for the cache.

Found it! A little windy but managed to retrieve sign the log and return as found. Tftc :^)
Real glad we didn't arrive at high tide, I wasn't looking forward to a swim! A favourite point because I have never been here before, and didn't know it existed!
Out for a few hours this afternoon with teamdfl.
Third time lucky! Yay Once we were thwarted by pirates (yes, seriously!), then by the high tide at night, but this time teamdfl got brave and went for a paddle, and there was the cache! Very pleased to finally claim this one [^] TFTC, Teamtinda and pipper pointer.

Having met up with IolantheK and refueled we were off and running again. It was fairly quiet down here this afternoon.
Third time lucky for us at this one. Thwarted by pirates and a very high tide we thought the same may happen today. Fortunately the tide was not nearly as high as last time, and I am much more willing to get wet on a nice sunny day.
The daylight also helped me notice something that I had missed in the dark. A nice quick find here today.

Out caching with KerriMg.
By chance the tide was out so no wet feet for us. Both Kerri and I liked a spot but no cache there. Looked high and low else where with no luck. Decided to go for a feel (as I hate putting my hands where I cant see) and sure enough there was a cache the first place we both looked.
Turns out we need to look harder!

Our regular Thursday outing with Nikid1 & we decided to head to Wynnum to find a few caches.
What a beautiful part of the world this is, I could very happily have stopped in at the cafe for a quiet drink or 2 while watching the world pass by but there were caches to be found!
Luckily we fluked the tide being out so our feet stayed dry today. Lucky Nikid1 is the brave one amongst us & went searching where neither of us wanted to & soon had the cache in hand. Log signed & cache replaced as found.

It was high tide for us too. After reading previous logs we didn't think we'd be able to get this due to all the muggle activity. However, as we walked round GZ Mr. Herbz glanced at the right angle and made a quick grab whilst keeping his feet completely dry! TFTC.
After attending a near by event we thought we'd grab a couple before going home. Yes it was high tide. But not wanting to get my feet wet. I climbed on the rail and grabbed the cache. Tftc
Lucky for the low tide and the red wine and cheese platter awaiting, this was a quick find
Lovely spot, we didn't realise there was a cafe down here. We'll be back! TFTC
Good hide, previous logs give it away though but I love easy finds Bag has a hole in the bottom so watch you don't drop the loot too TFTC.
This took a bit of thinking but eventually found it using the clues. No wet feet today and no muggles around. Pen was missing so couldnt sign but log book was dry and otherwise in good order. Tftc ☺
No muggles around today. The clue was great, and after a bit of paddling on a hot day, put my hand right on it. Tftc Team Tinda
16/11/15 Out caching with Marina25. She had found this one before, but on my last attempt the tide was super high. Today the tide was high but I was armed with a little more info and determination. I arrived at GZ and saw the little critter staring at me. How did I miss that last time? A quick grab, sign and return and we were back on our way, dry as a bone. TFTC Teamtinda
Stopped by for a look (using a milkshake from the cafe as cover: $6 for a not very large shake was a bit stiff, I thought).
I took the low road to dodge the security camera, though a high road is also possible.
Logbook seemed quite OK to me, so play on!

Sunday breakky at Wynnum and had to have a quick search for caches by the time my phone located surrounding caches I was only 40 metres away stood back and had look around muggles everywhere so I leaned and there it is a quick grab sign the log and placed back without being noticed TFTC
Out for a day of fun geocaching with barbbowman and bubba89 - we decided to head down Wynnum way as there were quite a few caches that none of us had yet found. OrionJ had also joined us by the time we had gotten this far, and just as well as his retrieval skills at times were much appreciated.
After a short search, we had the cache in hand and added our names to the log book. Thank you Teamtinda for having placed the cache for everyone to find.

Oldest mooseling was out at sea today, so took the opportunity to grab some quick numbers. Some found and some not.
Thankfully it was low tide when I dropped the young 'un off and this one was easily accessible. Log is damp but quite usable. tftc Teamtinda

Great hiding. Came at the perfect time. ...low tide. This cache needs maintenance. Log book is wet. We were able to write in it though with the GeoPen
Out for a play day with teamdfl
So it's been a busy day so far: T-Tech joined us for a while this morning, followed by morning tea, then a few hours of collecting multis and solved puzzles, then Nurseyjulie joined us for a couple of hours, followed by fish and chips for dinner, and now it's time to get down to our main target for today, and chase a few caches in the dark [^]
Ahhh, no! Another failure! Last time we were thwarted by pirates, and this time we were turned back by the tide No way were we going into waste deep water to go hunting Guess I'll be back again...

Tonight was my second visit to this one. Last time the place had been invaded by pirates and GZ was inaccessible.
Tonight GZ was once more suffering from an invasion. Fro the sea. The water was quit high - almost up to the hand rail on the back fence. Going to get more than feet wet down there.
We did have a bit of a look, but our search area was severely restricted. I was not able to perform enough contortions from my dry access point to get to where the cache may have been.
I guess I will be back again.

Out and about on the MTBs with Brother Colin and teamdfl.
This one was funny!!! How often do you get to say "Unable to attempt a search due to a pirate ship being in the way!" ??? There really was a pirate ship with muggles aplenty berthed right on top of GZ! See attached photo

What a view here...nearly as good as No. 3, and you can stop for refreshments. What a great place!
Visiting this lovely area again for the afternoon and a quick look at the markets. I came here once but the tide was wrong and there were muggles. Today I used the pram and puppy as a decoy and made the grab from up top. Log is damp but intact. Tftc.
On the road again, this time we are staying at the Thornside Mobile Home Park.
After setting up, we headed around the bay finding caches as we went. The views were spectacular from every turn in the road. We had fish & ships for lunch sitting by the beach.
What a great location for a cache, we wandered along admiring all the boats. This is worthy of a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache Teamtinda

We had a nice walk to this one near the water after having a look at another one near by, but as we got closer our walking slowed until we were only inching towards as it was dark and after a bit there was no railing on one side of the walkway. We got to GZ without much problem though, I'm sure we looked quite odd there, the place is very in the open, it was a good thing we came at night! There is a nearby restaurant that has a nice view of GZ. Only thing holding us back now was that I was still a bit tentative to search, so Tdimdad was kind enough to carry out the search for me. I pointed and suggested and he looked. After a few wrong guesses after I somehow read the hint wrong, I reread the hint and guessed right. Tdimdad retrieved the container and brought it up. It as a bit hard to get the container open, and once we got it open saw the log was a bit soggy. Tdimdad had his trusty maintenance kit and put the log in a plastic bag with a silica sachet after I had signed it . TFTC!
Came around here with Sezzz tonight. I had found this two years ago, now it was Sezzz's turn. The logbook was soggy so we added a silica bag and a ziplock to keep it nicer. Otherwise all good.
While we didn't get to complete the trail today I was interested to get to this one given that it appears in the middle of the blue bit!
Recent rains have contributed to it being a little damp in there but it was laid out a little in the sun to get some more radiation

There was a security guy watching me because there was a boating event nearby. I had to come clean and tell him what I was up to and he said he had seen someone doing the same thing as i was earlier today. Lucky it was low tide so I remained dry! He seemed as excited as I was when I found it.
Tftc Teamtinda, I'm off to find more cheese.

OH look, sunshine.
Who would of thought a day or so ago with Tropical Cyclone Marcia bearing down on us[?]
So I headed out caching.
I am slowly making my way south.
No luck here as the BIG tides at the moment mean GZ is waist deep.
yep .. cluck cluck .. .chishen. lol

Another great find tonight flying solo. Mickey stayed home and Mummy Mouse went out. She is so dying to come on a hunt with me.
Went to get my feet wet but decided due to lack of light, didn't want to go putting my hands where I couldn't see. Went in from another angle and success.
I used to fish here as a kid and haven't been here in years so thanks for helping bring back some memories.
Off to try my luck again.

8/1/15 today is obviously not my day for the cheese. I make it to GZ but I won't only have to get my feet wet, but half my body also. I am pretty confident I know where it is, but today I won't be laying my hands on it. I will watch the tides and come back on a more suitable day. TFTH and on to #6
Yesterday my son mazza151, my daughter pinkypie05 and myself decided to show some muggle friends of ours about geocaching. We didn't have to get our feet wet today for this one. TFTC!
My mum mnance 101, mybrother mazza151 and myself were out caching with muggle friends. TFTC!

Had visited this cache some time back to find it MIA. Notified the CO who took it in hand & it wasn't long before it was back in the game. Have intended to come back for the find for a while but have been otherwise occupied until today. We had some free time & decided what better way to spend the day than chasing up a few missing smilies. Headed up to CT#5 & Bingo! A quick grab, log signed & cache replaced with NO muggle intervention.
It was such a lovely day we decided to top off the caching experience with a light Vegan lunch & a couple of cold lagers at Café Bullfrog while enjoying the cool sea breeze & watching the jellyfish at play below.
A great day & TFTC Teamtinda.

This is our second visit to this cache. DNFed on the first visit & was informed by the CO that it was missing. This visit brought success! Cache where it should have been on our first attempt. Thanks for replacing the cache Teamtinda!
