Accio 14:35:40Down to Queanbeyan for a reunion, and driving about the old town I dropped by here to leave a TB, nab a smilie for the trip and leg the stretches a bit. Thanks AMNLL for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12724}*
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook
This cache might be missing the promised gold ans jewels
It also needed a spare log, but that was provided today
Thanks for the cache!

Amusing that FTF golden treasure was Goldenwattle. Nice outing during geokid warm up before sports game TFTC and discovery of this little green space AMNLL.
Found it the container is broken please fix it whoever put the newest piece of paper in there you are a life saver TFTC
Very nice piece of bushland in the middle of an industrial estate.
I wandered through the scrubs and as I approached GZ I spotted the hiding spot from about 5m away.
The cache is not in great condition, the clips have fallen off the side, but the newest log sitting on the top was still in good condition. I put the lid back on as best I could and covered it up for the next finder.
TFTC AMNLL.

Reeled this one in after watching the Queanbeyan Kangaroos demolish Bushies on a delightful Saturday arvo.
Container is broken but was still able to sign. Happy to report the Roos are still unbeaten this season…and that we had a pretty special Q Town sunset this evening. Thanks for the cache!

The container is broken with the log book soaked and ripped. Tried to put it pack together but it won’t last.
A bit of a bush bash involved to get here, luckily no brown sticks spotted! A relatively quick find at GZ but the container is broken and quite wet. Luckily the new waterproof paper is find but this one definitely requires a bit of TLC. TFTC!
Wandered through the wet grass to find this one. Container is has broken clips, and the log is a mouldy wet mess. Left and signed some waterproof paper.
Thanks,
Thanks,
It was raining heavily, but Heymissjo and I were on a ‘Q’ quest in Queanbeyan. Gutters were struggling to contain the precipitation. Naturally, I was a little reluctant to pull out my phone in these conditions, so using nothing but geo-sense we homed in on our target on just our frame of reference.
Luckily, I had a power tank to etch our initials into the log (HMJ+TW️). Clearly the bushranger has been sleeping rough.
Thanks, AMNLL

What happened to the glorious weather over the weekend! We escaped Melbourne to escape the rain for the long cup weekend… nonetheless The Welder and I are still trying to collect a few more caches on our last day before we head back tomorrow. But oh gosh… despite it being close to the path… drowned rats… that’s all I can say… drowned rats!

Out on a rainy urban caching trip with Joolay and Barb2e.
Log is in a.sorry state - all saturated.

A wet day to stay closer to home and enjoy some urban caching. Out with Joolay and Isopeda. Tftc
Found but the cache is a mess. Broken lid and soaking wet.
Thanks For getting me out and about AMNLL
Definitely trekked this one from the wrong angle. Cache is looking worse for wear and log was wet, couldn't sign. Thank you though!
I was out this way today for a service and keen to do a walk while in the area and find some caches.
Seeing some recent logs I was keen to come and find this one. It was a quick find at GZ. The log is still the same, good enough still signable with normal pen for me. While the cache looks a bit said, the surrounding must have been cleaned up recently as there is no rubbish at all as others have commented.
Thank you AMNLL for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

While Tankengine and I were practically going past I saw this one and thought I should find it while I still can. Yes log is very wet, but able to sign with a space pen. The area is pretty grubby. So much rubbish. Too much even for a CITO I would imagine. Tftc!!!
Shopping with a GeoPartner late morning out Fyshwick way we so decided to drop in on Queanbeyan for some brisk walking and a cache or two.
Quick and easy find, however the cache container is broken , and the log is book wet and mouldy. Unable to sign and have added a photo as evidence.
As the CO no longer caches, and this container/wet- log issue has been previously reported without action, I would recommend that this cache be archived. This will enable other cachers to replaced and maintain a new cache. TFTC AMNLL.

Day 4 of the Canberra adventure. A slight change in plans today in order to team up with a local geocacher to complete the Yass series.
I needed a series of Caches beginning with Q for a challenge so I set off exploring Queanbeyan for some. Found this one and signed the log.
Thanks AMNLL for the cache.

Looks like I am the first finder since The Big Wet, and as my predecessors forecast, the log is quite wet. Apologies, but I'm visiting from interstate, and don't have any replacements with me. Made my mark as best I could, and I've covered with bark to try to minimise further water damage. Thanks for placing.
Found quickly out for a few caches today. The container is broken, log is signable but will be wet after rain. Thanks for the cache.
Wasn't too difficult to find once my GPS had settled down. Unfortunately, the container had been left open and the log was thoroughly waterlogged. Did my best to dry the container out, but could probably do with a replacement.
TFTC. Nice little bush area I'd never noticed before.

After dropping the young fella off at HMAS Harman for his first Army Cadet activity I had some time to kill so why not cache. A quick find today on a rainy morning. TFTC
Picked this up on the way home from the last drop off.... my youngest geodaughter has been performing in Oliver at The Q for the last two weeks and this is the last day.

Outnabout with Wollaston whilst attending the Clear Waters Mega. Stayed until Anzac Day and found this on our way back.
Found with Team Outnabout after attending Clearwater Mega event at Queanbeyan. TFTC AMNLL.
Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Apologies for the generic log but we have found too many to compose individual logs. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. The vast majority of caches have had very good coordinates. Along with useful hints. TFTC
A group of 9 of us cached together during the Mega and signed in as Lucky9 to save space and time on the logs. Since most are deaf, it was a unique caching experience for me. Also, since I almost always cache alone and by bike, it was extremely different from usual having so many carloads of us arrive at GZs. It did, however, lead to far greater success than if I’d have cached alone and the entertainment factor was through the roof. Thanks for your contribution to a fantastic MEGA experience.
Returned from a moring caching, to grab some food, then we wanted to get out and see if we could finish of the Queanbeyan parks series. Unfortunately we were a bit dissorganised, I had a flat GPS from the mornings caching, using the phone with mixed gps zeroing, others had mixed info accross devices, but we still managed to grab a few more smileys. Thanks Happy Feet for driving me and Di Morgan for these.

In Queanbeyan to attend the Mega. So great to get here early to spend time catching up with some many familiar faces. Always taking the time to grab a cache, when the opportunity allowed it.
Out today with Di Morgan and Snakepiters, signing logs as DISH. Had some fun and laughs along the way, while finding a number or good finds.
Thanks AMNLL for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Catching up with some late logs from the mega
Maccamob M, Mrs Dover & Mrs Crackers joined forces joined forces while the other halves visited The Brindebella's in a convoy.
First there was a morning of shopping at the outlets, lunch and then a few caches were looked for and found in the afternoon.
This is an area of many bush rangers, we have visited many caches that have let us know more about them. There were some muggles out on the street but they were far enough away to not be a problem for us as we were searching for the cache which happily didn't take too long to locate and we were all able to add our names tot he log before returning everything as we found it
Thanks AMNLL for the cache

Very quiet around this normally industrious area today
Not a sign of a bushranger all day [^]

who was riding around finding caches as he like [:o)]

a quick stroll through the bush,
and a look roundabout
