Out and about with fellow FoTT members Kyzabra & SVKR_WA this morning picking up a few oldies, labs and whatever else took our fancy in the far northern suburbs. The usual bantering and tsk tsking was had from time to time but at the end of the day we're all still mates. Cool

We think we spotted where this one should be and had a look around in the foliage for a while to see if it had fallen nearby but came up blank.

amryall I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 17 finds today so all is not lost.

No luck here.we can see where a hide might have been. Too long between finds.

05-Jul-20
We came and hunted. Recon we found the host. Would have been a cool hide if we are right.
Needs a check. Two years of leaf litter since last find meant we weren’t checking everywhere on the ground.

25-Mar-18
Having a drive around just picking up few caches in a reasonably logical circular route. Parked up outside the nearby fish & lily shop - busy place! - and walked the short distance over to GZ. Wasn’t sure which side of the fence to go but took a gamble and delved straight into the bush. As I got a little closer I smiled as I saw something promising - the fence doesn’t extend very far Smile Cache soon found in a likely place, and luckily just before I walked in to a spider web, phew. No problems here, everything’s as it should be. TFTC

On A Caching Run With Barnzy12
We started the day off by meeting at the old mill in south Perth and then headed to Subiaco to ran a FTF, which we were successful at even with some nagging problems with the iphones and the tree cover, then went to the pinnacles in balcatta to grab the newly published cache there and the fantastic earth cache too!

We then followed the green dots up to kingsway, across to Hilary's and down west coast highway until we were back on the freeway to south perth.

Overall a good days caching with thirty plus finds including two FTFs, which is really nice for the stats Smile

On a downer we missed picking up the rare moveable cache "on the run" which had made its way to Coogee!! Bummer!!

TFTC! After some hectic working weeks of late, I convinced Cravo10 to organise his week to get Sunday off as well so we could go caching!!

We've spent most of the winter focusing on grabbing a large number of bush caches that were not to keen on grabbing in the warmer weather due to reptiles being around. With me nearly stepping on two bob tails in the last week it cemented our position on no bush caching until the cooler weather kicks in, and besides we've cleared out most of the series around the metro and some country areas!

Quick and easy grab here, once I stopped looking at the red herring...which, after consulting with the CO (after logging the cache) was not his doing. Weird.

Our last day in WA after an awesome week travelling from the Barossa is SA to Perth to Denmark to Margaret River to Pinjarra/Fairbridge and back to Perth. Caching around close to the Airport waiting for our flight home. This was a very quick find as the camo was not in place. Signed the log and replaced as it should have been. TFTC

06-May-16

03-Mar-16
TFTC! Easy find, cleverly put together, wasn't a fan of the friendlies though Smile Needs a new log book urgently Smile

17-Sep-15
We were in the area for business so I took the opportunity to grab some caches while up here.
I made hubby walk the the long grass here to scare any snakes away and by the time I got half way to GZ he called out he had it already.
The camo part had fallen off leaving the cache exposed. It would have taken me longer to find if all was together. I signed the log and replaced, ensuring the camo part was put on the correct way as the other way is not very stable.
Maybe a magnet glued to camo and camo holder might work to keep it attached better?

TFTC amryall......a new caching area for me. p.s.....needs a new logbook as its overfull.

26-Jun-15
Thank you! Quick find.

22-Jun-15
Easy find tftc

22-Jun-15
Needs a new log as the other is full

17-Jun-15
A quick find on my way home form work at Joondalup, and I also saw the cache container on arrival at GZ with a part lying on the ground. The log is full however I did find a spot at the very top of the log sheet near the FTF mark.

It would be worth having a look and replace the log, sorry I didn't have one with me but not normally well prepared when its a work day, and have a look at the hiding spot.

Good cache and thanks for the smily amryall

26-May-15
Well camo'ed. I'm glad it wasn't raining as I bet this could get swampy. Nice quiet area today. I love the little pockets of natural bushland around here. TFTC

25-May-15
This is a new bit of path to me. So new, in fact, that it just suddenly runs out about a km south of Woodvale Drive and after dragging my bike through the reeds for a while I had to admit defeat and turn round. The cache was a quick find as it was fully on show. The camo piece was on the ground so I put it all back together and it looks good now! Will be more of a challenge now if people put it back together properly when they are finished. TFTC!

12-May-15
Haha such a noob! Spent about 10ins here in vomplete frustration after readung everyones easy finds... finally worked it out Smile TYFC geodog liked this one too

10-Apr-15

22-Mar-15
Nice quick find there earlier this afternoon but I hadn't read the previous logs: now I realise that there must have been a piece of camo that was not in place as the cache was very visible... Thank you for the hide amryall.

09-Jan-15
Seen quite a few of these caches, TFTC

06-Dec-14
Nice quick find after freckling down the embankment. Only quick because I have seen one like this before. Love the camo.

01-Dec-14
Great cache. Unfortunately camo had fallen out making it a much easier find than it should have been.

01-Dec-14
The camp was not on the cache but after SL it was replaced with a wedge to keep it in place.

23-Nov-14
Was thinking to myself, with every step I took, that I shouldn't be walking here in thongs (GPS took me way too far into the marsh). Until I came upon the cache and thought a mint tin wasn't worth the effort BUT then, while signing the log I found a piece of 'camo' that had fallen off and then appreciated the hide. TFTC

02-Nov-14

Found this one during a bit of night caching with my youngest daughter. Apart from nearly walking through a few spider webs, we quite liked this one. Easy find.

Really enjoyed this cache - whilst simply executed, there's something wonderful about having a cache fit so well into its 'natural' surroundings! Parked nearby and was quickly on the hunt and had cache in hand moments later.

After meeting JacobsCrew at the last event, we decided to do a caching run together.
With a couple of emails, the location was decided.
So with an early start, we headed for Joondalup.
We had a great day, with a good variety of cache hides and managed to find most of them.
Thanks for the cache, amryall.

16-Dec-13
I teamed up with The Drovers today to do a full day of geocaching today and we managed to put 71 smileys on our list today with a number DNFs on the way too. It was a pretty hot day today and that was going to be factor in the time we finish today. It was a fantastic day and I enjoyed the company of The Drovers. We all had turns in getting the finds and had a few periods of DNFs which made it tough going at times.Clever hide and quick find for us with a very improved afternoon..TFTC

15-Dec-13
I approached this cache from the road. All I can say was it made a lot easier, I think. A great place to hide it, I haven't seen aint tin hidden quite like this before. Tftc
