#5862 After enjoying another beach walk with the geohounds we decided to return via the coastal trail back to the geocar so we could collect a few caches. A few oldies playing tennis nearby but that didn't interfere with a quick find here. TFTC ringtailposs, a nice hide here.
Tftc! Needs a little tlc, log a little wt and some of the cable ties are broken

Yesterday was Driving Mrs D and Mrs Ds 35th wedding anniversary so we are down here on a working holiday Found this cache after enjoying a warm swim in the pool and a refreshing dip in our gorgeous ocean - so beautiful (Ive just returned from the US not long ago and there is nothing quite like our beaches!)I was relieved to find a pencil as I wasnt carrying one in my swimsuitLove the good sized cache hiding in plain sightIts a fav from me for the location and the occasion
Love the size of this container and right on the path....very clever!Arrived in beautiful Busselton today to add some more LGAs to our tally, stopped here for a few days before heading to Dunsborough, Margaret River and Augusta. Started off with an awesome cycle along the shore collecting a few smilies before heading back to camp to set up.Thank you ringtailposs for placing and maintaining BBT: Tennis on Broadwater for us and others to find and enjoy!
Hired a scooter for a couple of hours to collect a few along this stretch of coast. Quick find. TFTC
Visiting from Victoria. Doing some more caches, along the coast from Busselton to Dunsbough,while kids and hubby snorkelling at the jetty. Nice container. TFTC

We have set up in the caravan park for 3 nights. This will give us time to tour the area.
It was good to see the ocean again, although we are from the Pacific Ocean side.
Some great caches found today in good locations.

Best one yet! Not 30m deep into bushes haha a sneaky little hide right on the trail. A heap of fun

Son and I actually had a hit of tennis on these courts then I went searching but came up empty.
Walked down with the daughter later on to watch the sunset but thanks to cloud cover it was a non event. Did a detour by here. Looked on the other side of the path and made a quick find.

When we realised where it was we rolled our eyes that it had taken us so long to find! Very sneaky.
Fairly quiet here today. Came for an early evening walk to check this one out. Sneaky and in good condition. Tftcsl.

Geocaching today for a short while in the Busselton area When I arrived at this GZ I looked around and thought there’s not as many options as I might have thought. It was either very sneaky or my mindset was all wrong. The correct one of those was two options became apparent after a couple of minutes searching. TFTC
Few minutes searching and then noticed something slightly out of the ordinary...which led to the find. Cache in good order. Tftc

Today we walked part of the Busselton Foreshore Trail and found some caches along the way. After two days of rain and strong winds, we enjoyed much calmer and drier conditions. The trail is certain an asset for the locals, based on the number and age ranges of those we met along the way.
Unfortunately, after searching for about 10 minutes, we did not locate the cache. A check by the CO would be appreciated. Thanks anyway WA K Team and ringtailposs.

180ish days since we left home and stated our ‘lap year’ half way in our original time allocation not even close to half way around the country…hmm I guess we won’t be ‘home’ for Christmas….oh well… (shhh don’t tell the grandparents)
Perhaps if I stopped looking at so many rocks trees and beaches we wouldn’t be taking so long…then there are the flowers, old things and street art that keeps catching our attention.. maybe it’s the Geocaches… what ever it is, we are having a bloody brilliant time and I wouldn’t change a thing!

While we were waiting to use the tennis courts for a hit, we decided to find some geocaches nearby!
After scratching around in the bush where people had clearly walked before, the find was made once we actually re entered the path.
The geocache is a great size, much better than those pesky nanos!

Got it but the jar has fallen to the bottom of the tube which made it hard to extract. Was it previously attached to the lid?
