I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi heathtree
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Hello Manawatu cachers! I'm currently in Canada and unable to go check on this one. I'd appreciate anyone in the area taking a look for it. If you need a more direct hint than the one given, send me a message and I'll happily provide it.
This kind of hide is quite common in Canada but wasn't very common in NZ. Just remember that you have to lift to get it.

Not sure if it needs maintenance or if that's how it's supposed to be but I put it back where I found it.
Out for dinner and found this across the road from restaurant , cold night but end to good night ya my first one lol
Out to dinner with Selvester my mother, her first cache! Very nice hide thankfully not too many people but still had to be subtle
Even as its starting to get dark, this place is still quite busy. Managed to time it between muggles to make a quick find, cheers
Cheekysman (partner) and I took silverklaw27 (sister inlaw) and snowman650 (brother) to this as their first cache we all enjoyed it very much was the first of a few for the night tftc
Back to Levin for some caching. Parked up the camper van by Prouse Bush and headed off on the bike. Enjoying cycling around as you get to see so much more. No shopping today except for a smiley. Found the cache but then some muggles turned up to delay things. Fortunately a car then parked in front of them so I could finish the business. Surprised these are still allowed. Log all good. Thanks for the smiley.
First of this kind of hide I've seen in person. Was scared I may have opened something I shouldnt have. Found in daylight while we happened to be here for more Sprite and chocolate to fuel our geocaching! Tftc
tftc found while nightcaching around Levin. There were a few worker muggles in the area so had to wait around for a bit to put the cache back.
Found 10.40am
Able to park right beside this one. Area very busy today.
Magnet has gone but cache still Okay. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We were really keen to log a Leap Day Event cache and collect the souvenir, but our nearest was the camp-out at Awhitu. We have already cached in that area and wanted to use our time a bit more effectively, so we reasoned that a trip south would be worthwhile. There were three events in the Manawatu region. Road trip...
This is one of those hides where experience gives you the upper hand. We assumed where this one would be placed, even before we’d entered the carpark. In these caching situations, its best not to crowd the location and draw attention, so I happily went shopping for some headlights and snacks. When I returned Gap had done the job... Thanks heathtree and TFTC.

We had a very nice holiday in New Zealand. Almost every day beautiful weather. We traveled with the camper home from the north to the south island. we have found a lot of very nice caches. Thanks for showing the nice places where we found the caches.

A previous attempt had me not bother as there were muggles right next to the cache. This time it was still early - even before opening time so I was able to park to hide my activities. Although there wasn't anything stealthy about revealing the cache, with the scraping of metal on metal. No matter, I got the cache and completed the required activities. All good here. TFTC
Find #13
Driving home from work noticed all the trick or treaters around. Thought better go out caching instead of going home because we have no lollies.
Been here a few times and couldn't find it.
partner had a smart idea where he thought it might be and found it.
Love the hiding spot never would have thought to look there.
Off to the next

Just trying to get a couple of caches in Levin. Was an easy find as I've done a similar cache not long ago. TFTC
Filling in time early this evening waiting for the EV to charge at the nearby New World carpark. Wandered along to this cache and had a fair idea straightaway where it might be. And yes, that’s where it was. Turned my back on a muggle sitting in a nearby car as I tackled the hiding spot. More than likely he was oblivious to what was going on anyway! #2576. TFTC.
Finally found this one. Lucky to have an awesome geocaching community to help out! Tried my best not to get caught by muggles. TFTC
Do not think it is here anymore as the magnet is gone and cache is nowhere to be seen
Quick stop after dinner for our journey home. Got a park close by to hide our antics.
Day 2 of our New Years trip up to the North Island. Today we traveled from Upper Hutt through the winding Akatarawa Rd up to Palmerston North. We have done enough of these to know where to look straight away and were fortunate enough to get a park right beside GZ. We dont think we were sighted but in a place this muggly we couldnt be certain. We left a Rainbow Bead Tail in the caches that were big enough. Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this cache for all of us to enjoy.
Urgh.. the noise! Made the find relatively stealthily though.. ehrm.. yeah =)

A quick find here today in between muggles.Wrote the log and re-concealed carefully.TFTC!
Was starting to wonder how bloody rusty the LM and I were after 2 DNF previously. But this was an easy PnF. Thanks heaps
The EtherClan invaded TwigNZ's castle for the weekend with the aim of heading south to chase a World Turtle.
Yesterday we went down to Pukerua Bay but an offshoot for some caches near the beach caused the wheels fell off our mission when EtherMaster6 asked if he could play for a bit.
It turned into a lot longer than a bit and it looks like the World Turtle souvenir is swimming out to sea without us, but the memories that the boys made skimming stones into the waves and searching for Mermaid's Purses are more important
We're heading back to Palmy now and the rain is fair pi$$ing down!
This cache fitted the bill nicely for a quick find on a Dot-Day - I didn't even have to get out of the car.

Cool place to hide but it's a high muggle area so patience and stealth required! TFTC.
Have been here before but too many muggles around. Decided to try this morning on the way to work at 6am, success
Many thanks for the cache

I had previous figured out where this cache was likely to be hiding. It isn't the type of cache I enjoy tracking down but I am a frequent visitor to Levin and I was sick of seeing this unfound icon on my map. Today was one of the few days where I could expect muggles to be absent; even then some turned up seemingly unaware that the nearby facility would be closed. Despite this making my mission not being as straightforward as I hoped, I was able to quickly retrieve, record and replace.
Finally brought a car that I had want for the last 3 years and had to fly up to Auckland to drive it back to Dunedin. So 2 birds with one stone a new car and caching all the way home. This is one of many on the trip home was a nice and easy one to find till I realised there was an old fella watching put it back. Oh well to late by then. TFTC
we came from Finland to holiday in New Zealand to geocache for life and to watch the birds
A well timed car engine start is always a good help with these caches. Can't believe I hadn't thought of that one before. Thanks!
Haha clever name. We did this in broad daylight! Parked next to GZ. I sat on the kerb until Michaelteacher watched from the car and gave me the all clear to retrieve. Then we signed it in the car and he started the car right as I put it back to mask the sound. Sneaky! Haha. Tftc
