Tuesday. Slow Puncture was out and about today to try to find some caches. Unfortunately, we looked and looked for this one before we thought to check the logs. This one is nowhere to be seen. We note that this one has been MIA now since early 2017, so that’s over 2 years. It doesn’t look like the CO is active anymore? Either needs maintenance or removal from the listings.
This was the only DNF we had on this trip.
Thanks ***wattoes365***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back!

Pulled all the bark and leaf litter away from all the trees to approx 2 metres ..... no sign of any dogs at all ... MIA defs
This was a lovely spot to stop for lunch and we had the place to ourselves. I'm not one for prolonged searches in full view of homes so hence just a cursory look for me. No luck though. Thanks wattoes365 and mozzafamily.
No luck with this one this morning. Searched pretty hard but could not make sense of the hint. I shall return.
FOUND IT. YAY. this one had geobrother stumped. Great cache. The clue helps. TFTC
Thanks to previous logs we got scratching around like bush turkeys! Geo hubby came up with the grab while the kids recoiled with a look of horror:) luckily I brought the tweezers along:) somehow he still managed to find time to relax in the tropics...

finally with a few hints from ozi. you really have to use the art of the bush turkey.tftc.
My apologies mr wesso. Sure enough went back for a second look hey guess what my log had washed of. This is a credit to you mr wesso all the hard work and effort maintaining and looking after these catches for us to find. I take my hat of to you. Even on the second log of this catch it will still go down as one of my favourite catches.
I see a catch with your name on it and i know its going to be a good one. Thankyou. Ps its all about fun. And i had fun finding this one.

Yes Wesso we did find it and yes we did sign log. How ever log was a little wet. I thought this was all about fun. I'm not in the habit of login find I don't actually find.
Found it well what can I say but I finally found this cache and what a pain in the butt it has been. I live close to this 1 and have been numerous times but to no avail but over the last few days I decided to keep looking day 1 muggles and couldn't look properly. Day 2 look , scratch poke and still nothing day 3 I got a hint from someone that has found it before I knew what I was looking for and I was in the right area but where was it . I went back with the family for 1 last look, I decided to scratch a little deeper and within minutes BOOM there it was in all its glory just staring back at me TBH I think I shed a tear lol . Thank u it very much for this cache it was definitely a favourite just for the effort in led for what should have been a walk in the park tftc
I was in the area today and check on this one, all good, except a couple of names are missing from the log.
There were a couple of muggles in the playground and they soon moved away as soon as a they saw a lone elderly male wandering around looking suspicious. Not the sort of look that I try to betray but that is the way that I must have been observed
I searched around for a while but couldn't locate the cache.
I searched around for a while but couldn't locate the cache.
Nice park but I have no idea where the cache is. Searched and searched and found nothing. Reread the logs and searched again but still nothing No muggles today so I had plenty of time but just couldn’t find it.

Watching the weather & trying to decide where to raid today.
Hoping to hit the Sunshine Coast but looking north it didn't look very sunny.
A few words with the Sun God, Mighty Ra, expressing our displeasure seems to have done the trick, the closer we get the more the weather is clearing! LOL ...
Selected Little Mountain & surrounds, filled up the Geo-beast & it was GAME ON!
Cute little container for sure!
We quickly 'did our business' & we were gone!
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Not sure if we signed Vegan Cachers or our old name Linden/6?
Oops!

Lots of searching. Muggles in the park thought we had lost something.. so we educated them on geocaching. They thought it was a great idea! After reading a log the geodaughter was sure she knew what we were looking for.. finally found it! Tftc!
After a disappointing search yesterday I was determined to find this little blighter so took my new cacher daughter with me and we rethought what we might be looking for. Still no luck and were about to move on when I spied it. Pleasing to know we had been right on the money with the hint. Thanks Wattoes.
Was my second hunt, so i bought fresh eyes with me. My strategy paid off. Bones74 had the cache in his hand fairly quick!!
Awesome camo.....had to wait for some council workers to leave and soon had the cache in hand. Found with Egg Zachary. TFTC wattoes365!!
I was dogmatic about this one as I have been here scratching around a couple of times before and been frustrated at not finding it, until today. Knew what I was looking for from the hint and finally found it's resting place today. TFTC
Out and about today grabbing caches, us Parko's were on a mission
We had some council workers here upon arriving and had to sit them out. Just as they left, a dog walker turns up [:o]
Took a while but once the coast was clear Mrs Parko found the sneaky hide.

TFTC, took us forever then we thought about what it should be and Hamish came up with the goods. Log book missing so we put temporary piece of paper rolled up inside. Tnlnsl
Found during an unsuccessful attempt at 25 DT in a day.
I came straight from "don't be deterred" so I was well warmed up. A family were just leaving as I arrived and then I was alone. A good start. The Garmin seemed pretty clear, through I was just a little worried about sticking my hands into dark places. Instead I became an unpaid weed-attacker, and was just getting into it when I unearthed a heck of a lot of little black beetles which startled me somewhat. With still no result after a couple of laps, it was time for a scorched earth policy. Ka-blam! At last, the little critter came to light. More fun extracting the log and then a gentle replacement where I found it, with some camo on top. Persistence is the key alright... TFTC where all is fine!

Had a hint from a fellow cacher, and thought I would go straight to the cache, not so lucky, this is my third attempt at this one, and I came sooo close to abandoning my search, but decided another circuit is in order, couldn't believe when I found the little b....r, another wattoes hard to find cache, a real challenge for this cacher. Thanks for bringing us to this park wattoes365, a nice spot.
Nearby again, almost exactly a year after we couldn't find it the first time.
Nobody in the park but some painters across the road - not noticing us though.
I was sure I knew what to look for last time but just could not find it. This time within a couple of minutes J grabbed it. I was right, it was the unpleasant thing I suspected however, we had been looking for a much bigger one. This must have belonged to a very tiny puppy!
Had to go back to the car for a tool to remove the log. Very tight.

We tried to find this one quite a while ago however a large Pirate Party was in full swing. Stopped by today and the park was almost deserted which made it somewhat easier to search. After a small amount of hunting we had the cache in hand. TFTC wattoes365 and mozzafamily
Well, with our plans to have a milestone cache coincide with our fourth geo-birthday falling foul of higher beings who had other plans for us which distracted us from our goal, I was beginning to feel the need to let loose to take my mind off our woes. When I received a message from IolantheK about one of our missing caches and how she planned on going out to play on a day when I would not be working, I thought what the heck ... I needed the distraction and after meeting up at a convenient point to hook up with IolantheK and Dutchie 1950, we were soon on the Sunshine Coast for a day of play.
The park was busy when we arrived with a couple of mothers and their children at the nearby picnic table. At first, we weren't sure if we should commence a search when IolantheK decided just to fess up to the muggles about what we were doing there. I had a suspicion about what we should be looking for and managed to quickly spy what we needed. With the log quickly signed and explanations given to the muggles, we made our way back to the car to head for the next cache on the list. Thank you for having placed the cache wattoes365.

# 388 - Play-day again! This time not only with IolantheK, but Ms JaT joined us for the day, after she'd re-instated a muggled cache for us to be found, so that we could add another smiley to our lists.
The day started as usual at Maccas on the Bribie Island Road where a little yellow car this time was outnumbered by two little red cars! Off we went on our way to Caloundra where there were still a lot of smileys to be gotten...
It was rather busy in the park. Mothers with children having an after school picnic and dog walkers... With very small dogs too!
IolantheK spotted the cache rather quickly, which was helpful and after a bit of probing the log was extracted and signed.

Play day again and this time my companions in crime are Dutchie1950 and Ms Just a Trifle [^] After meeting up at Maccas, we headed north to Caloundra in Bumblebee.
A few mums and kids were in the park today, and they were very close to where we wanted to search so I decided to let them know what we were doing so they didn't get too creeped out! They seemed keen to know more, so after we made the find we took the container over to show them. Mmmm, perhaps not the most appropriate container for show-and-tell, but we all had a laugh New converts perhaps? TFTC, wattoes365.

Out for a afternoon drive, and picked up some caches while in the area.
After scanning the area, the cache was soon located.
Log was very wet and un-useable, so we added a new 'water-resistant' log.
Many thanks for placing this cache, wattoes365, for us and others to find.

Out today with Flying Feathers trying to reach my #200 and after not finding "Wesso's Welcome" we were a bit bummed about not finding this either.
read the clue and we were fairly confident we knew what it meant but didn't find it.. after finding the other cache in the park we came back a second time feeling determined that we had missed something and we could now find it knowing just how sneaky you are wattoes365! but still nothing..

Just arrived from the nearby cache, looked at some obvious places, not too keenly, then was accompanied by a lady and child to play on the truck, that put an end to that search, I received the usual enquiring look, a lone woman loitering at a playground, I retreated to the car will have to come back on another visiy. Thanks wattoes 365 for the cache.
This one took us a while to find, a muggle asked what we were looking for, he actually thought we were looking for fire ants. I didn't think we looked official enough to be looking for ants, but I guess it was the gps units maybe?
We were about to give up when I spotted something a different colour and sure enough there it is.

Found with Wombles in the fast disappearing light. We were looking for a while when a muggle asked if we were looking for something.... I asked him if he knew what it was, thinking he might have been a cacher... but he thought we were looking for fireants I quickly explained what geocaching was and he was quite fascinated... we were about to give up for the day when Wombles made the find.... yep, that is what we were looking for but not quite that small... cheeky little fellow

#300 Was getting ready to post a DNF log for this after several unfruitful searches. However after contacting a previous finder (MS) with my thoughts of what the cache was and location they said I was on the right track and with a little help on location I returned as soon as I could with friend Bruce and we soon recovered the cache. Very happy to have this one on my found list a good one for my 300th find.
A beautiful day on the Sunshine Coast and in the company of Lazzal we did a few caches. Really enjoyed the scenery and finding the cache. Thanks to wattoes365.
After spending the last week solving puzzles for and around this area, had to get out and find some easier caches for the night! So I picked this area that I haven't covered yet and off on an adventure I went! In the dark with a torch, searched high, searched low, searched all obvious spots! No luck tonight will have to retry with better lighting!
Set out on a great day of caching on the Sunshine Coast with Fasted59 and Barbbowman. Weather great and after an early start homed in on the local caches. This one is wet. Had been here earlier and had looked where we found it, mmmm......wonder why we didn't see it??

Out and about with the lovely Nyssaflutterby, helping her with the introduction of geocaching to the Girls' Brigade.
Nyssa had already found this one so we thought it would be a quick grab but we looked everywhere and could not find.
Once we know it is still there we will have to come back.

We had tried to find this one some time ago and left empty handed. We came back for a second attempt and thought we knew what we were looking for. It took a fair bit of scratching (of our heads and the ground) and we were about to give up when I finally put my hands on the cache. TNLNSL TFTC

Once again it was a popular day for muggles to sit in parks and disturb the 'normal' activities of geocachers going about their chosen pursuits. Anyway, they didn't stay long, probably ran out of things to talk about, and I was on the job! After a bit of a search I had a flash of inspiration and there it was! TFTC, well done wattoes365.
After being sick for two days I could not handle being cooped up in the house any longer. Must cache, need to cache!!! Dragged geoson and geodaughter out shortly before dusk to forage in the nearby parks I had been longingly ogling on the map. Third find in half an hour before dusk we were feeling pretty confident after finding the nano at the other end of the park. The clue seemed a bit strange until geodaughter spotted something at GZ and we soon had the log opened and signed at a nearby table.

I arrived at this one with a fair idea what I'd be after. GZ looked like a Scrub turkey and several friends had been about as everything was pulled back from the surrounding trees. Wow, a premium members cache too!
I searched about a bit but after a while with people watching it was time to move on.
So oh poo a DNF for me.

Whilst enjoying my Dad's 82nd Birthday @ the local RSL club, a few new listings popped up on my radar. Not wanting to be rude and leave, I sat there and did a bit of chit chat for awhile before making the move, saying good bye to everyone and firing up the GeoWagon and heading off towards a hopeful FTF. [^]
We pulled up a about 15m from GZ, Now I had no torch and only my phone and it's clever little flashlight app to guide the way.
On arrival at GZ I had a quick little search with my torch, but didn't want to draw attention to myself so I limited it's use. I read the hint over a few times and then it clicked what I had to look for.
I returned back to GZ and after about a 2 minute search came up with the little beauty. I took it back to the GeoWagon to show it off to the others waiting patiently. We opened the log sheet and to our great pleasure found it nice and empty.
We signed the log and then returned the cache as we found it.
