Hi there aidenkai,
Your cache "A birthday lark" was last found on 14/02/2015, 178 days ago, and has had 7 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Couldn't find. spent 45 mins looking. I hope it been muggled or I'll feel like a noob. How do know when the person who placed it has checked it?
2nd attempt at this cache but still no luck . Will definitely come back for a 3rd attempt!
Pretty sure this one is gone. We had a good look, poke, climb but came up with nothing but lots of ants and man sized mozzies. Owner may need to check it's still there.
Found with hjkb coordinates were a little bit out on our phones but cache all in good order
Geo-granddaughter freaked when the huntsman ran onto her hand! Really, you're 8! Lol ... Seriously she's fine! TFTC
Geokid found it.. I grabbed the cache from it's hide and passed it to geokid... Then she looked at her arm to find a friendly huntsman siting there. Me being petrified of spiders heroically brushed it off her
I took my own pen but I didn't find this to be a 'nice easy walk up find" but then I can get it wrong.
I had some time to fill and it was caching or shopping. Caching? shopping? caching? shopping? Oh well...it was a nice walk in a park.
Hopefully better luck next time.
Tfth aidenkai!

I don't know whether I found the correct container but I did find a container at GZ with trinkets in it.
It certainly did not fit the hint which I think may have gone and someone left this as its replacement.
Added log paper and baggie. Will return if CO not happy with my find.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks aidenkai All good with this cache

No luck with this one. Was getting dark so didn't have much time. Will head back again soon!
Looked for nearly 2 hours! Looked all through logs for help but must have overthought it - just got ant bites and mozzies- too camouflaged? Or overthinking
Very tricky. Exactly as others said. Coordinates are spot on and the right angle is needed.
Thanks for the clever cache.

OMG what a difficult cache!!! We had a failed attempt previously. We teamed up with the Badjoes determined to find this one. Using all the log entry clues, and 45 mins of 4 people searching....YAY finally we found it. The co-ords are VERY accurate, no need to widen the search, its there. Great hide aidenkai, very clever!!
Previously DNF'd this one quite a while ago after it had been muggled. Back tonight, to maintain my current personal best streak of daily finds - now into the 70's.
Having been here before, I had a pretty good idea of the possible hides. Tonight I followed the iphone straight to my expected GZ, tip toeing through the crunchy leaves so as not to upset the dogs on the other side of the creek.
After a short search, I found the cache. My suspicions as to the type of hide were correct, but I reckon you need to be looking from just the right angle to find it. Nice container - well done indeed. All found in good order.
Thanks for the cache, aidenkai.

Nice hide. I spent half an hour looking before I found it. I was surprised that the coordinates were so accurate.
I found a nice parking spot on the south side of the GZ this afternoon and went wandering down, congratulating myself on not having to jump the creek. After checking out the birdhouse, and then all the trees around, I crossed the creek anyway. Then I crossed back and tried again. My phone was really struggling to get a fix here, so the coords are OK, I think.
During my search, quite a few gross and icky things happened! I won't detail them all as it may scare little kids and put others off coming to this great park and cache, but I'll tell you one. Somehow in my travels I suddenly discovered I had gained a sleeve with many small green caterpillars or larvae of some kind all over. I had to flick them each off one by one: yuk! Other gross things happened which made me wonder how bad it was going to get. Thankfully, I suddenly developed a theory for the cache which turned out to be right and although I feared another Arboreal Avian encounter (one of my classic caching logs), it was not to be. The log itself was easily extracted and all is fine here so TFTC!

We started this cache about 20 minutes to sunset and we spotted the likely cache almost immediately but then we had to wait for the large running club to file past and when finally the last straggler was gone it was time to investigate further. Well it turns out what we were looking at is in fact an actual birdhouse. THE CACHE IS NOT THE BIRDHOUSE. We've seen a lot of fake birdhouse caches in our short career and the name of the cache and the hint had us thinking along these lines (at this point we must have forgotten we were looking for a micro cache, duh) but not this time . DON'T MUCK AROUND WITH IT (like we accidentally did). It's full of ants anyway. We decided to follow our GPS at this point, we had about 10 minutes of light left, we had our GZ but we just couldn't find it in all the usual places. Starting to get a bit frustrated now but we read some past logs and we thought we knew what we were looking for. We were more or less on the right track but it was kinda hard to see now even by torchlight. I did think this might be a DNF and we'd have to come back another time. So I was really happy to find it, only about 10 minutes after dark. In my opinion it was a little harder than the 1 and a half star difficulty but good cache, really well camoed.
Another hot and sunny Saturday...time to geocaching.
I parked up the road and walked over.
A quick hop over the 'creek' and soon found GZ
looking, looking, looking, more looking, more looking...yippee.
Cool hide.
Thanks for the cache.

Out with IolantheK on the geocycles to round up a few locals. This had us hunting for a while. We had even worked out what we might be looking for and still it remained elusive. What a great hide for a first one and such a young hider. Well done indeed
Out with teamdfl for a mini Freaky Friday After grabbing a couple of caches on the bikes we decided to grab one more that we both hadn't done. This one looked intriguing, and the ride across was very pleasant. At GZ we had a bit of a look but no find, so went to the hint. Mmmm, I think it means this, so what if we look... there[?] Oooh, yes, that's clever! And of course the title makes more sense now, too [^] A neat little hide, and very creative for your first one. I look forward to seeing your next one. TFTC, aidenkai. A favourite point from me, too.
My fifth today, nice work love it favorite point from me

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 12 noon. What an interesting cache. It took some time to spot it. TFTC
Geo Aiden has had a great idea with this one!
Rocked up to this little park around sunset, so time was of the essence if I wanted to find this in daylight. Followed the compass until I realised it's time to hop over the ditch. Luckily there was a civilised passage nearby, so half a minute later I stood at the GZ - between tress, middle of the lawn. Hmmm, where to now?
Checked the surrounding trees, starting from the closest one: roots, trunk, forks. On the last one, there was a generous burrough and when I looked in with my flashlight, a scared tree frog stared at me before quickly escaping back to its home.
Time to read previous logs, and one of them presented a different view: blending to the surroundings. How original for a geocache? Me, silly, not realising that it might be the way to go there, too...
Armed with new thoughts about this, changed the tactics and soon was staring at the camouflage.
Nice idea, worth a fave point. All good here!

I needed a find today to keep my streak going. Today is day 72. This was one that i have been keeping in mind for a while now and today I decided that I would check it out.
A jump over the water and then I headed to where the GPS was pointing and couldn't see anything there so I widened my search area and it appears that previous searchers have check out these spots as well. I even jumped back over the creek and searched there and then returned for another go at where the GPS was pointing. I had a fair idea of what I would be looking for but I couldn't locate it so I made a PAF call and told I was on the right track. This must have been the inspiration that i needed as I then soon spotted the guardian. It blends in so well.

It took me quite a while to find in the dark with only the cane toads for company. Found it and ran back to the car to sign the log. Went back to replace the cache and took another five minutes to find it again. TFTC
Some time ago I happened to find another cache nearby, and had not noticed this one pop up. So today just popped by to grab this one, trying to squeeze some cache and lunch in before having to get LHE Duo to an appointment.
Quite a nice little hide this one did not take long to discover, once I was able to pinpoint the area to search.

Cache has been fixed a replaced after a serious muggle problem. All good to be found.

I called past after the International Geocaching Day event to clean up some caches that have sprung up since I last cleaned up this area.
The GPS was wandering around everywhere today. From the cache name and the clue, I had an idea what I was looking for. Searched the obvious spots, and then checked other possibles that could match the clues. Read some logs. But after a while, I decided to move on.
I had an old PQ loaded and was not aware of the Needs Maintenance log. Wll keep this one on watch.
Thanks aidenkai and Happy Birthday Aiden.

Cache container found empty on ground. Have added paper and put back where I think it should go, but it needs an 'official' geo note.
I have logged it as a find, but I'm not 100% certain. Found a cute cache container that seemed to fit the clues, but it was lying empty on the ground. Added a piece of paper as a replacement log and placed back where I thought it should go.
I found myself on this side of town with a few hours to spare, what else is there to do except find a few caches? I jumped the small little waterway and made my way to GZ. Hmmm, so where o where can that little cache be? I hunted a round for a little bit then noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Ah ha! I had found the cleverly hidden cache and it's cute little cache guardian

Aha , tricky little one. Team aidankai hovered around laughing at us, but finally we spotted it. Lucky I had the gib part of the team with me. Lib couldn't have done it on her own. Thanks aidenkai for a sweet birthday lark.
Caught me aidenkai, led me on a wild goose chase, I'll be back, hopefully with you...sweet grandchildren, its time to help the grandgeos.
Up early and waited till sunrise before leaving home. There was a new souvenir on offer today so I needed a cache close to home and the birthday lark was it. I thought I had a fair idea of what I would be looking for and after wandering around in the early morning light listening for the distinctive sign of a cache, I spotted it.
Nice touch.

Congratulations on your first hide, aidenkai! It's a beauty!
Until recently this park was the location of my puzzle cache, but I like your clever hide so much better
I parked on the wrong side of the water and backtracked to skate over the bridge. Soggy purple caching shoes on this drippy day but I couldn't resist. This cache is only 400m from home, and I decided not to drag myself out on a cold night for the FTF. A find is a find is a find!
After a quick poke in the likely hidey holes, I was startled by something that caught my eye. These caches tend to be easier to find by looking around GZ from different angles and that is what I decided to do. It was difficult for me, at a petite 160cm tall, to retrieve the logbook and even more so to replace. I did so carefully
A FAVE point for turning a simple local parkland cache into something that made me smile

Well that took a lot longer than it should've ... phew! Had all the clues, but couldn't find the cache. Then I realised my GPS was playing up and had frozen! So was I in the wrong place after all? Finally got it working again, then followed the directions to the same place!
So I was right all along! Okay further investigation required ... then I saw it! Yes, the clues were right ... yes, I had all the details I needed ... I was just blind! Lovely camouflage though! Cache container was a little tight and difficult to open, and when I finally did, I dropped it! All thumbs this morning! All back in place now.
Thanks for a great find, and congrats on your first cache!

***FTF*** 10.15pm. Joint 1st to find with BosNewellgus, Mastamak, Fairybum, Trentan8tor, Sarbear, MonkeyJess, GummyDales
We happen to be all around at Trenton8or's house when we jumped in the car to race to another First to Find and when we finished that one we got the notification for this cache! Back in the vehicle and off we went!
I knew the area as I had grabbed another cache just down the hill. I knew about the drainage ditch and the party was not game to walk to the bridge as this was a First to find, so across we go, I think some of the party ended up getting wet, Lucky me I was dry! We hunted around for a while in all the obvious places and nothing, it was Mastamak that came up with the "I think this is it!" What a fantastic Cache! So clever! A Favourite point for me, if he survives .
This was the 2nd First to Find of 2 First to Finds for the day. (Sorry for the Late Log trying to catch up)
