Logs
Oh dear, must have got washed away in the last flood event. A new container placed, a plastic 300ml screw top jar in a holder. Ready for visitors again.
CO's permission to log as Found based on the geocache actually missing. Thanks for that edvern and TFTC
Out in the endless rain to find a geocache or two to progress my 6th loop of the calendar.Add to that I did get in the mud so I'm doubly wet. No matter. It'll wash out. Found something where something should be but not the cache.
Got a bit muddy ( definitely not needed, Im just clumsy) but nice easy find otherwise. TFTC
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there currently down in Palmerston North for a few days or so needed to get this cache today as it starts with the letter U & its needed for a Spelling Challenge Mystery Cache very wet underfoot which made caching a bit miserable the cache ended up being an easy find, log-book completed & promptly replaced pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:SL #5,819 for Us!
Did a loop walk in this area this morning with the geohound and some muggle friends. Picked up four caches along the way, found more often than not by our muggle friends who seemed to enjoy the opportunity to do so! This one took a brief moment. It was found by the muggle friend looking on the other side of the walkway from where I had looked. #7556. TFTC.
Geogaching is secondary to my walk. I'm not as agile as I used to be & not a fan of hopping down & looking underneath things! My loss. I might try another time.
The boardwalk had a few hide options here and it took a little time to locate the hide.......on to the next....Day 2 of our caching trip to Palmerston North area with HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, Keylev, and myself, signing in as SEAC or TEAM SEAC to save logbook space. A big thanks to all the CO's for cache placement and maintenance, making this trip the success that it was.TFTC.
Day #2 of the Team SEAC extra long weekend little road trip for Labour Weekend. Not sure about the direction mentioned in the hint but we got there in the end. Thanks for the cache.
Small group of caching buddies drove down from Auckland for the long weekend, and headed for Palmerston North area. Sorry for the generic posts, but we had so many caches to find.Had a great time, with so many laughs. Thanks to all the Cache owners who placed the caches. All logs signed "SEAC" or "Team Seac"
Very nice stroll down to the gz. The cache was missed in the first pass but quickly located on the second. Log signed by TeKainga, TPK, SuaineAlien, 13thBattleAxe and self and returned. Then the hot and dreaded hike back up to the road. Definitely get some steps in here. Tftc
Out for a walk today and checked this one out. Pleased to find the cache and container are dry.
Very slippery getting to GZ. Cool cache holder! Forgot pen and had to use custom stamp
I wrote in the log and concealed it carefully back as found,
TFTCSL, Thanks edvern for this Traditional cache!

Nice, straight forward find. Enjoying the walks in this area which is new to me. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Found it! Out on a walk with the geohound around Summerhill bush walks for something different. I really liked the holder this cache was in, very secure. Cache was nice and dry and quickly signed and returned - the track was quite busy this evening

Checked to see that this one survived the last heavy rainfall event. The container is fine but the track is muddy and eroded in places.
AllMillion sent a message saying the container was gone. Checked today and yes it must have been a victim of the last flood event which has also caused some track damage. The track is open to use again even though it is still under repair. Replaced the container and it is ready for visitors again.
Thanks for the cache!
Sorry for the delay in logging. I’m in the process of finally logging all my old finds.

Quick stroll after work. No problems finding this one except for the muggles that appeared out of nowhere. Popular walk at this time of day. Still don’t think they really knew what was going on. Cache and log all fine. Thanks
Was rather surprising to find this still here after all the rain and obvious flooding recently! Log still nice and safe and dry. TFTC
I checked in a few of the usual places, but found it staring me in the face. Took: Jeep 4x4 #4609 TB. TFTC.
#1047. Today is day 70 of walking the Te Araroa trail and this is the 45th cache I found along the way. This was a short detour off the trail on the walk back to the CBD.
It was in the first place I looked. What a great holder for the container! Amazing!
Thanks for the cache! [Here's a link to my blog entry for the day](http://teararoa.g2.co.nz/2019/12/04/day-70-palmerston-north-north-to-palmerston-north-south/) if anyone is interested!

Definitely not “down by the sea”! A quick find with an impressively secure container attachment. TFTC Edvern!

I've been coming up to Palmy on a regular basis for a while now, but I've not really spent much time looking for caches on the south side of the river, so I figured I would do something about that this weekend.
I wasn't sure how busy this area would be on a Saturday morning, but it was pretty much free of Muggles so I was able to have a free reign in searching for caches. A quick and easy walk to GZ from where I had parked the car, and due to the name and the Hint I got stuck into having a thorough search of 'under'.
As it turns out, and after getting my knees fairly wet after the overnight rain, the container was eventually found not so much 'under' as 'beside'. It wasn't secured in any way, so I'm not sure what may have happened to it in the recent past. But the contents were still in good nick and I was able to add my name to the log before replacing it exactly as found and making my way back to the car.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Checked this one today and couldn't find it. Replaced the container and logbook and attached it in a different way to avoid being washed away in a flood.
Found it but was on the ground in muddy water. I could not find the other bit of Velcro to try and reattach the cache to. So I ended up placing the cache more closer to the top of the bank. I think the log was still dry.
Down in Palmy staying with a friend for a few days and we went for a walk along these tracks this afternoon and picked up some smileys. This is in a great spot, TFTC
Been a while since I have had a proper caching day. Headed over to palmy grabbed some caches before weaving our way home via Hunterville.
Fairly quick find, didn't need to stick around to long which is just as well as a couple of people went past even on this quiet walkway.
Cheers.

I have set myself a goal to get the requirements for the mystery cache The well-rounded cacher challenge (Manawatu) This requires me to get 25 badges 5 of which need to be gemstone badges. So each time I now go out caching weather it is by myself or with fellow cacher I will try to get a least one cache that will help me get closer to my goal
It has been a few months since Scoria and myself have teamed up to do a spot of Geocaching
We come here to Plamy so Scoria could place in a new multi cache
Scoria was the one locate this cache and I could hear the hint as he revived the cache
Thanks for the cache

Found it in the dark but unfortunately forgot to bring a pencil! Indented some initials and the date onto a line. Good cache!
Found it. Swapped out new plastic bag for logbook as old one had a hole in it. All dry and safe. Nice spot, though glad we had boots.
Checked this one after the recent flooding through here. Glad to find all is well, contents are dry
After picking up a TB at Pork Chop I followed the trail here for what I thought was going to be the easier find (it's all there in the title, right?). Those poor teenage boy cyclists who came roaring down the hill and around the corner and had to screech to a halt when they saw me in my favourite boardwalk geocaching position (the one that causes people to apologise for interrupting my prayers); there was nearly a crash! I finally found the right spot, signed the log and left a Little Shop milk. Thank you so much for the cache and for bringing me to this walkway.
In Palmy for the weekend getting a few caches. There are a lot of great walkways here. Thanks for showing me them.
Now I know where this likely to be but where exactly? Follow the GPSr and use the phrase 'where would I hide it?'. Success, found and it good stead.
Found it after much scrabbling round but not sure if in right place because Velcro not in use
Struggling to keep my one a day streak alive and am now down to the final few caches in Palmerston North. Popped out from work on a quiet afternoon for this pleasant stroll along this path - yet another area I haven't been to before and probably wouldn't have visited if not for caching.
Quickly located the cache. All nice and dry here. Back to work. TFTC

Coming down from Pork Chop hill I over shot this one and backed up into the walkway. We soon trekked to the cache and it was an easy find. It was very cloudy and threatening to rain so I was trying to go fast but Holly&Kade was busy trying to text at the same time as walking. The track was very dry and we soon had it found, signed and replaced. TFTC
Cool track to adventure on. Nice find. Ferg didn't get too muddy. TFTC.
I found it with my friend and my sister and my sisters friend it wasn't to hard to find
