Works are still being carried out close to the area. Cache will be back in play soon.
To much activity close by with the new road upgrade. Will enable when it is completed.
Two of us spend some time looking for it and could not find it. As previously mentioned there has been some activity in there and it might need maintenance. At the very least it needs confirmation that it is still at the listed location.
Scoured through the place for some 15 mins with fair detail. After deciphering the hint and few earlier logs changed my approach but the outcome stayed the same. Well, you always need a teaser here and there on your map, don't you...
iPhone compass had us going all over the place. Rejuvenation works happening in the area so it's possibly been cleaned away. Could CO please confirm cache is still there?
Looked and looked with our geo buddies, coordinates kept sending us in all directions! Looked for 15mins but still nothing!
Found at 0800.
Finally managed to crunch this little pest (not literally!).
New coords are spot-on, took me a solid 10 minutes to find, though.
Got eaten alive by mozzies but that wasn't going to stop me.
A fun find

New cache in place and GZ has been moved slightly. Have also increased the difficulty rating a little. Happy caching.
Found while doing a bit of a test drive on the co-ords for this cache. The GPSr was giving me mixed signals in this location and I walked around and then stood still watching the tracks move around on the screen. I walked into a spiderweb! Yuck! Eventually I just used my common sense and looked in the right place. Good one seirra1. Thanks for another micro cache in the bush! You know how much I love them.
Out with my brother in laws watching them try to find the cache I looked where it's ment to be and it wasn't there so had a look around and couldn't find it

There has been recent revegetation work done at GZ. Could the CO please check the cache hasn't been accidently removed?

Headed out to do some shopping, and picked up a few caches while in the area.
Geo-wife spotted this one, quickly. Good camo, worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, seirra1, for us and others to find.

After the third set of co-ords were put into the garmin ( with six visits and six months ) I can now mark this one off the list -Boy what a challenge, great little hide I spent today showing muggle sister what I get up to and this was another example of the excellent caches we have on the Sunny Coast,
(as long as we can keep the muggles from taking them ) signed log 11am.

Aha! Finally busted the little stinker. I am no entomologist! I had to prod a bit..... just to make sure. Tftc
Checked on this cache and it had been removed. Cache has now been replaced in a new location and is ready to be found again.

Nope! We had a look for 15 mins and couldn't find it! There was a string going up a tree which made me think I got it, but it wasn't the cache.
Great spot, looked for about 10 minutes - too many mozzies for a better look our second miss
2nd attempt, no muggles in sight. Searched for 30 minutes and had to concede defeat. Well done seirra1.
Too many muggles in the area. One old muggle and his dog didn't seem to believe I was waiting for a phone call. Time to go to the next one

HAHA! When I read the tittle for this one I had an immediate thought of what I should be hunting for. Then after reading the hint I knew I was correct. Once at GZ it took me only a second to have the creepy cache in my hand. Give me spiders over those nasty little beasts any day of the week!!!!
Thanks for the cache seirra1

First ever Nano find. Wot a creepy crawly ,yikes. TFTC . Glad to b out of here mozzies galore.
Found on a hot day out with two junior geocachers. Just as well the clue was there! TFTC.
Lol, this was a hard one and entertaining.. I don't like crawlies!! Started in the wrong spot but figured it out in the end .. Cheers ))
Tricky little devil this one. Finally found it on second attempt. Had an idea what we were looking for but couldn't quite spot it and we definitely looked very suspicious digging around in the bush near the gate and walking path. Terrified one poor woman on sunset when we emerged from the trees on dark but we have it now. TFTC
Had a look over the road earlier then found the little fella after reloading GPSr with new coords. Cache resing quietly in it's shady nook, log all good. Thanks seirra1.
Wow, what a hide! With a phone playing up and having to dodge all the massive spiders this was a hard cache to find... TFTC.
As the last visit was in a different location and I was looking for a cache that had Gone MIA.
Today this replaced and repositioned cache is still eluding me - But then I hadn't understood the Hint,
I do now ( thanks to google ) - So I'll Be back !!!
Sierra1 - Thanks for the Hunt !

Yayyyyy! It's been replaced. A nice clean logsheet, in a great new spot. It appears the clean up crew are doing a great job to keep this mini forest clean of litter. I am surprised there wasn't a cache in here to begin with.
Got the little cocky, very happy. Thanks for the cache, Sierra1. Awesome job on making this little fella.

Came back for another look in the daylight this time, and searched all the places equivalent of the DT rating, and beyond.
I sent a previous finder a message confirming where I thought it should be.
I then rang the previous finder, and searched all the places again.
Can the CO please confirm whether this is here or not?
Just noticed that there is some bushland across the road...no camping allowed.

As I was going past so I called here and searched no luck,

Now that I read the previous logs no-one has found it for past 6 weeks and a previous finder hasn't located it either - Needs a check or a disable tag placed.

I was there a few weeks back and couldn't find it as well...I found a few around the corner and stopped my streak when I came to this one
I was working a few doors away and took a friend to have a look at this little baby.
Unfortunately serirra1, I think Cocky in MIA.
Cheers wesso

We had to drop Mrs PetAlKids at the Community Centre for a First aid course... So the boys and I thought we'd grab this cache while we were close by.
With SP (kid #4) in charge of the GPS, we went looking. With three little boys (all 6 and under) and a park nearby, it was a little tricky to stay focused. But we didn't find it. Surely with a bit more time, we'd get it, as the area isn't that vast. But another day...

Found at 1035 with Marg. Just about to walk away then wit a last check I spotted it. TFTC.
Omg I thought this one was going to do me in but I found it on the fifth visit !!!!!!
We had a fair idea of what we were looking for from the hint and we searched high and low, checked and rechecked then systematically checked everything a second time and finally we found it. Where we found it didn't seem right so passed on message to owner to come and check. TFTC.
Having no children or fathers within visiting distance, what better to do on Fathers' Day and the first day of Spring than to find a few caches. This was a nice quick find for us. TNLNSL TFTC
Now that’s different. Took a little while to find even when I knew roughly what to look for. Very good cache.
Thanks for the cache seirra1.
Thanks for the cache seirra1.
I'll admit I am slow at appreciating the significance of cache names until well after the event. Even so managed to track this down pretty quickly tonight. Thanks for an unusual cache.
Night caching makes it a little tougher to find but with some perseverance we managed it. TFTC Seirra1
#146 @ 8:03pm Out to grab day 14 of the August Challenge. Took a little bit with dull torches as to not draw attention to ourselves ~ TFTC seirra1
TFTC Out with mickezza for an afternoon geocaching when saw someone with a phone and going through the bushes. Met iwantbubbles family which was great as we hardly ever get to meet any other geocachers. Great talking to them and went with them to look for the next cache. Hope to catch up with them around the caches. while talking to them found the cache which was a great hide. TNLNSL
Got it on our second visit thanks to our new friends Hamish heroes and mickezza
TFTC, when we were parking the car we noticed a family using a phone walking around the park. On approaching them we asked if they were Geocaching. They said that they are only new to the activity and had looked for this cache yesterday without success. We said we will look with you, Linda of Hamish heroes came up with the goods fairly quickly and showed all of us. It was great meeting team iwantbubbles and her lovely family. After all of us signed the log we decided to follow them to another cache close by Serenity. TNLNSL
TFTC, quick easy find. Ha ha, great cache, the hint says it all, when you know what it means. TNLNSL
This was the first geocache we ever searched for. Unfortunately we could not locate it the second one we searched for we found so then we knew what to look for. We are going to go back to this one tomorrow and try again
Quick stop on the way to the shops after a dnf closer to home - had to get our at least one find for today! Similar to one we have but must be a slightly different species. Good hiding spot. Exciting #300!!!! tftc sierra1
I have no idea why I missed this last time I visited. The clue gave me a good idea of what to look for and I found it right where it should have been. Love this cache. congrats Sierra1 TTFTC
