Found the magnetic disc under the rail that we think should have held it in place, but unfortunately no cache container in this spot.

Used GC as an excuse for late night scooter rides in Townsville.
This was a quick scoot and grab while town was quiet. TFTC!

Found it on our afternoon bike ride. Few muggles around leaving work.

Nice quick find in the first spot I checked. Got a cuttlefish figure out.

After carefully examining all possible locations from afar and ready to make my move, was thwarted by a couple of last minute lovebirds standing right next to GZ! Waited patiently for them to move on, then made for the cache. Took me a little while but once I felt something unfamiliar in the right spot, the container was at hand.
This spot brought back a lot of memories for me. After being away for four years, this is the first visit to a city I lived in for many years, working in a building just up the road that has now been turned into a Maccas. A favourite point from me on the first day of my Townsville geo-adventure.

Day 6 Townsville.
Caching again today with the Snakepitters. We planned to head into town for the AL cache thrn return to complete some caches along the road from Rowes Bay.
We found many interesting caches includung some challenge caches.
Very quiet along the bridge, most people were heading towards the race track

On our weekend RDO trip to the Ville. Went for a walk before dinner along a lovely river walk dedicated to the Pioneers of Townsville on our way to have a look at the new stadium under lights. Was amazed at such a lovely hidden walkway and education path that we never knew was here. With cache in and careful timing between lights to avoid our muggle transporters. We retrieved and signed the log cautiously. A tricky cache to obtain in what can be a very very busy bridge that provides access to the city workers from the near by free car parking and now in the shadows of an awesome new stadium. TFTC

I’m in Townsville for a week for work, so I got up early to go out cache hunting. I lived in Townsville in the early 80s, it’s nice to wander around and see how much things have changed in that time. TFTC

Off on a walk around the city centre and finding caches, hopefully. After having something to eat at the Golden M Restaurant, I moved towards this cache which was nearby. My phone GPS took me right to GZ and had the cache in hand and log signed. TFTC

Found by Mary and David at 10:35. Stopped off at the nearby Golden Arches for a coffee and free parking. While M sat sipping hers, D slipped away to find the cache. Happily it was at the first spot he checked. Great view of the new stadium under construction nearby. Our thanks to corikra.

Hello from Canada! TFTC

The mini rats have been away on holidays with the Rats on another fantastic family holiday. We made it all the way to Cape York and along the way we found this cache. Thanks for adding to the thrill of our holiday.

The Rats and mini rats have just returned from an amazing 6-week adventure to Cape York. Along the way we had time to stop and grab a big handful of caches, some of our finds were in the remotest parts of Australia. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing your cache, you've all contributed to us having a great holiday. Apologises for the generic log.

TFTC Found easily with my geo-munchkins after a nice walk across the bridge. Surprise surprise, not a sistema. With stealth, we took SWAG, left SWAG. Signed log & RAF.

Another sunny day dawned in Townsville
So just after sunrise I was out and about on a geocache guided stroll
The geomobile was having a day off !!

On me way to the salubrious surrounds of South Townsville,
I had to cross the creek.
Half way across the GPS said "STOP" [:o]

After a quick poke around,
the cache was found within a metre of where I'd been stopped [^]

Back in Germany, we now log all our fieldnotes. We had a fantastic time Down Under and we will definitly come back. As we can not make a special log for avery one, we use this specimen one. Thx to all the COs that made our visit more interesting. We really enjoyed the caching in Australia. G'day, .... and no worries, we will come back.

FR- Suite de nos longues vacances en Australie puis Bali et après la region de Darwin, nous voilà dans le Queensland! Depuis Mission Beach nous redescendons vers le sud en route vers Airlie Beach. Une belle matinee en mode footing mais pas mal de DNF . Une facile pour finir ce midi!!! Mplc

Found it together with vogi84 during our honeymoon in Australia. Greetings from Switzerland. Today we went with the ferry from Magnetic Island to Townsville, drove to Airlie Beach and took the ferry to Hamilton Island. After breakfast, we did a walk to this cache. TFTC

Day 2 of my biennial trip to Townsville to visit my in laws for Christmas. It is going to be really hot today, so I opted for an early start just before dawn.

Drove past this one, not intending to stop, but there was a park nearby. Must have been an omen, so I stopped and made the find just on dawn.
