#5864 After enjoying another beach walk with the geohounds we decided to return via the coastal trail back to the geocar so we could collect a few caches. Made unnecessary hard work locating this one but got there in the end. We have seen quite a few Bobtail and other lizards on our WA adventure to date. TFTC ringtailposs.
A very nice route along the beach. It was a lot of fun for us. Thanks to the owner for laying out. Greetings from two Swiss, Winny58 and Primero1.
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. Thankyou to the previous entry saved us hunting 10mts in
Yep previous log helped, GZ wanted pazza about 10m in the bush but was found only about 5 steps in. Saw 4 bobtails on the way to this which was definitely a surprise.....perfectly named cache!Arrived in beautiful Busselton today to add some more LGAs to our tally, stopped here for a few days before heading to Dunsborough, Margaret River and Augusta. Started off with an awesome cycle along the shore collecting a few smilies before heading back to camp to set up.Thank you ringtailposs for placing and maintaining BBT: Bobtail Surprise for us and others to find and enjoy!
Out on the hunt down south..great spot by supernat..cache and log in excellent condition tftc
Teamparko's log really helped as my GPS wanted me to go 10m further in. Have seen a few bobtails around. They always make me smile. TFTC.
Hired a scooter for a couple of hours to collect a few along this stretch of coast. Quick find. TFTC
Visiting from Victoria. Doing some more caches, along the coast from Busselton to Dunsbough, while kids and hubby snorkelling at the jetty. TFTC
Found on a drive and walks around Busselton and surrounding area. Enjoying the caches
Found it after going in to GZ and almost giving up. We walked half way back to the trail and viola! There it was, hiding almost in plain site. All in good condition. TFTC
*note for the placer*
The cache was a little distance from the pin so not sure if my google was off or the app
Otherwise a great little cache! Loved the hiding spot, walked past it and once I doubled back found it pretty quickly
TFTC!

We found your cache whilst on a trip down south with the geofamily. All caches were found in good condition.

Moved due to some beautiful children that built a bush cubby around cache. They had it in the middle of the cbby untouched and in a1 condition but had moved away all the cameo.

I few days ago I was in the area. I passed by this cache but didn’t give it a good enough go to log a DNF.
Today I was back in the area and I decided to give this a proper go. At GZ I found the ‘cubby’ left by, I presume, kids. I could not find it there. I did find a toy torch and wondered if the cache had been muggled. I search further around and found a plastic bag. However, I carefully picked it up and realised it had been burned, but also contained a condom. Not what I’m looking for!
I began searching the same places again. I read some recent logs and was assured by the recent verification. I looked more, then read more logs - and finally came across a log explaining the CO had moved the cache. As soon as I plugged those coordinated into the GPSr I was almost immediately onto the cache.
The CO needs to formally update the cache coords lest more people keep searching around the old coordinates (and more DNFs result).

##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

We had a good look around but couldn't find it. I wonder if went walkabouts when the cubby house was constructed?
Today we walked part of the Busselton Foreshore Trail and found some caches along the way. After two days of rain and strong winds, we enjoyed much calmer and drier conditions. The trail is certain an asset for the locals, based on the number and age ranges of those we met along the way.
Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a relatively quick find. The container was wet inside but the bagged logbook was in good condition. Thanks WA K Team for putting out the cache in the first instance and ringtailpossum for keeping the cache in play.

Owner maintenance all in good condition nearly stood on the bobtail guardian.
Some lovely children had maid a bush cubby house around it and left it in position. Have moved to new co ords s33 39.395 e115 17.103

180ish days since we left home and stated our ‘lap year’ half way in our original time allocation not even close to half way around the country…hmm I guess we won’t be ‘home’ for Christmas….oh well… (shhh don’t tell the grandparents)
Perhaps if I stopped looking at so many rocks trees and beaches we wouldn’t be taking so long…then there are the flowers, old things and street art that keeps catching our attention.. maybe it’s the Geocaches… what ever it is, we are having a bloody brilliant time and I wouldn’t change a thing!
Thanks for being one of the awesome caches we found this week.

Found on a woolly wintry day. Looking forward to a few days caching in the area. Nice hide here. Tftc WA K Team and ringtailposs
A bit of a chilly stroll this arvo and amazing the myriad of tracks in the vicinity. All good here. Thanks for setting this one up and RTP for looking after it for us all.
Found, with lots of cuts and scraps as I approached

Thanks ringtailposs for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 15:20:00. This was my Find 5 for today out of a Total number of 6 Finds and 2 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5296.
Thanks for this nice cache here and my number 4918.

Thank you! On a family hike, no swaps avaliable in the box though so son a bit disappointed.
A quick find on an early morning ride.
Beaut to see such a stunning coastline, the ocean so flat that the SUP board riders were looking like a mirror image.
The jetty views were great as we rode along the cycle path and back.
We found your cache container tucked away nicely and with signing duties done and dusted we replaced the cache as found.
Thanks for sharing this interesting, flat, meandering cycle path and it’s hidden gems along the way.

This was a quick find during a bike ride this afternoon. Found the container and its content spread out on the ground. The log book is still in good condition despite having been rained on. Replaced under cover and took a photo for the CO in case it is not back where it is supposed to be... Thank you for the hide WA K Team / ringtailposs.
No Bob tail but a small scream from Maz of 'get the spider off me!' Other than that a nice simple find thanks
Out and about on a clear and fresh morning to clear some caches around the Busso area. Was pointed a bit off the mark here by the gps but spotted the cache as I was returning to the path, TFTC.
Hi, I’m Cirrus_WA but you may know me as CJ_252. Just a small change to my user name to take my actual name out of it.
I look forward to catching up soon at an event or in the field.

Day 2 of our stay in this part of the world, and a bit of caching with megawat60 before the WAGB festivities start. Another find here! TFTC!
We are heading home today after a lovely short stay in Busselton. Just time to clear up a few near our accommodation before we head north. TFTC ringtailposs
Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
This was found on a great trip to WA from Vic
Thanks again ringtailposs
