This one eluded us today. Lots of soggy growth around, and just ran out of time looking as geokids were getting sooky.

Cache in good condition.

This is my 3415 find.
Thank you Kyzabra for placing and maintaining this cache.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

31-Aug-22
Took a walk to pick up the latest VITSOL caches and to also clear up some older ones in the area.
Loved the variety of the nicely themed caches.

TFTC Kyzabra this is find #14116 for us.

Headed south of the river today after being granted a visa. . The sun is shining, on a winters day ,so a great day to be out and about grabbing cache’s .Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining their for others to find .

Out with the Cockburn Boys grabbing some fresh publications near Rockingham.

I vaguely recall solving this one quite a few years back. Either way, like many of the puzzles in Rockingham, they have been sitting on my map for an extremely long time, as I simply can’t be stuffed doing the drive down. Tonight was a good excuse, dragged along to new caches. Cheers Kyzabra! Big Grin

I was (and still am) an 80s music fan. It was much better than a lot of todays music! This cache hide was cool. Good memories and a good cache, this deserves a favourite point.
Thanks Kyzabra

With the Wangaratta mega postponed, I suggested to stainless steel rat that perhaps a Perth trip was in order, knowing full well he hadn’t graced the West yet. We used up one of our last airline credits and with a little top up we were set. As usual we had a hit list of high D/Ts, virtuals (although I had done most on previous trips), oldies, large caches and favoured ones. We only scratched the surface but had a blast doing it.
We brought a ladder and pole with us but kayaks were going to be way too much to cope with on a five day whirlwind visit! Thanks to the many CO’s for their hides, maintenance and assistance.

Now this one put a smile on my face when I spotted it, i've liked all the ones on our loop but this was a stand out.

Myself and Goose had many plans for the tickets we used for this trip, i cant remember the details but I think it was three canceled Mega's and after the last cancellation we only had so long to use up the tickets and with a little bit of cash added we worked out we could have to a trip to Perth to hunt for some fine looking caches.

A 'shortlist' of 587 caches was put together for the trip albeit with the PQs of the whole state as a backup just in case we wanted to forgo sleep, in the end we found 120ish caches in 4 and a bit days, 60 of which were in the 4WD FOTT Go Bush series.

While we were over we got a chance to go to a GIFF Event and briefly meet a few of you locals, thanks for the chat.

Thanks for the cache.

I thought today would be a good one to find a few caches around the park. I ripped around the trails on my MTB and enjoyed every minute of it.

I went a bit further west of where my iPhone was putting me to an obvious GZ. Nothing was in there but leaf litter. I got a stick and started scratching around and Skullduggy appeared.

Wanted to catch a few smilies that I wasn’t ready for last time I was in the area so was excited to find this one along with VITSOL 7 and 9.
Unfortunately I could only locate 1 out of 3 and came up empty handed here. Guess I’ll be back again sometime. Tfth.

22-May-20
Headed out this morning with Cravo10 to grab a few local caches and head down to Rockingham to grab a couple more on the radar before a workman came for my place. A good morning out albeit a bit cold.

Thanks to the local COs for the fun.

Back to avenge a previous dnf and for a bit it seemed it would be the same again, PAF and third pass and had the cache in hand.

Thanks Kyzabra for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 1787 for me.

17-Apr-19
The kids thought this cache was very cool! I loved the puzzle! TFTH!

04-Mar-19
Unfortunately I was unable to locate this cache today. I will add it to my list and hopefully return soon to claim the prize.

Looked long enough to say I’ve looked but not as long as I would have liked with tired boys calling for a return to the car.

Patch solved this one over a year ago so it was nice to get down here this morning and make this great little find. Cute stuff and all in great shape here thanks Kyzabra.

We are determined to complete the current souvenir challenge so have been out finding caches we’d left for such an occasion, that are close to home. Solved the puzzle and made the short walk from our house to make the find. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

25-Mar-18
Being a 80’s kid this was my type of puzzle. Solved awhile ago but finally had the chance to grab it this afternoon whilst out and about in the area with the geo kids who were quite agreeable to the bush walk. Thanks for bringing us here as we all enjoyed the walk. Love the cache container!

03-Feb-18
This and one other cache in this park have been bugging me, two caches surrounded by a smorgasbord of smiley's. Today I took the geodog for a walk to relieve this stress on my life

Cache was found in good condition, signed the log and replaced as found.

The main reason I was down this way was to grab these two "V" puzzles. Tried to make this one a bit more difficult than necessary with the puzzle but eventually worked out the connection.

Then had a little trouble with the cache itself. Coords were a bit out which had me circling something else, but widened the area and followed the geotrail in to another likely spot where I also searched without success. It was only on the 3rd go around of this spot that I spotted the cache. Persistance overcame blindness.

TFTC and puzzle Kyzabra.

10-Sep-17
Thank you! In the area for the WAGB event. On a cool morning papillon367 and I teamed up to give the vitsol series a go. I admit I was given a small push in the right direction with the puzzle during a previous caching day out with papillon367. Once at GZ, it took a while to uncover the well hidden cache.

10-Sep-17
In Rockingham for the WAGB event, ullyssia and I teamed up to tackle this fun series. The weather was perfect for a walk and if there were any snakes, they stayed out of our way. This was a fun puzzle that I solved fairly quickly. The cache was well tucked away and it took me a second look before finally spotting it. Thank you for the hide Kyzabra.

09-Sep-17
Having solved this to find when in the area for WAGB17 we wandered about for quite awhile before I suddenly found the sneaky hide. My son was very impressed with the cache and after admiring it for awhile we put it back as found for the next person to have the same trouble.
Thanks Kyzabra [^]

09-Sep-17
Dad solved this puzzle and we we looked for awhile and suddenly we found it, i really like this cache

04-Sep-17
Met up with the better half of the LAXA team for a nice sunny spring walk at the reserve. We found all the caches easily, saw wildflowers, native orchids, lizards, birds, butterflies and one very cranky tiger snake who decided she doesn't like us in her home and started to chase us off! so we politely obliged, backing away rather quickly, not taking our eyes off her! So all in all we had a lovely time collecting a bunch of smilies.

04-Sep-17
Had some much needed time off this lovely Monday and with the weather being kind to us I had teamed up with Me&B for a round of bush walking. We started at VITSOL 10 and made our way through all of them. All were quickly found and singed. We have met some friendly and some not so friendly locals. Seeing a tiger snake crossing our pass and clearly taking notice of us very quickly reminds you who's lounge room you are walking through. I have thoroughly enjoyed the walk and all caches found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series. Loved it. Favorite fro the fright the container gave me.

Heading home from Perth and muggle agreed to call in here so I could get a Vitsol puzzle as it's the last letter I need for a challenge, well besides Z but that's taken care of Big Grin

Have had this solved for a least a couple of years but first time at gz

Had a very quick look on way back to car but didn't want to get saturated and urgently needed a pit stop so a smiley wasn't as important

Always another day

10-Nov-16
Oh man! That was creepy! Yuck! Had this mystery solved for awhile and finally and a chance to come and find it and be creeped out! That's enough caching for the day! I'll return to find the rest with my GeoMum

24-Jul-16
Solved this awhile back. In the area to grab others in the series so not too much of a Trek to get this one as wellTFTC

This was find number 2 for me of the VITSOL series, after deciding to grab the puzzles first. Good puzzle and a very intriguing cache it certainly had me seeing red Smile Gets a fav point from me.

Great little puzzle here! Sat and worked through it while waiting for ThePanda81. Cool container too.

Found at 3:34:00 PM.

One good turn deserves another right? Well I hope so as I had to use a PACO here (phone a cache owner). I could not find the prize no matter how I looked as I was focused on something. After a chat the CO said why don't you have a little look over that way towards something that I had discounted afte a cursory search. A bit more effort went into it the second time around and I happily got my smilie face for this one too.

Thanks for the cache Kyzabra, it was cache number 2105 for me and was 9 in my run of 16 for today's geocaching effort.

Cheers Cool

After solving the mystery surprisingly quickly we were quietly confidant about finding this cache.
But sadly today wasn't our day, our only sad face in this series.

24-Jul-15
Out here today with Gypsy Roaming to locate this cache, we thought it was a great puzzle and an even better hide. A fave point from me. Hope to get back here in the not too distant to find the rest of this series.

13-Jul-15
Not happy as I wanted to find all of this series. GZ was in the middle of the freakin path!! Not helpful! The compass kept changing its mind too. Looked everywhere, even looking for surprising caches like everyone said but I found nothing Sad

13-Jul-15
Scratch that last post lol!! We had looked there already and didn't see it!! After ages of looking it finally led me to it!! Bloody ph decided to go off the waypoint that I set. Oh well found it now tftc

The cache was a nice surprise! Saw a bobtail nearby

07-Jan-15
Needed a mystery cache beginning with the letter 'V' to help qualify for the 'Z-A Alphabetical puzzle challenge' (GC5CNQ4). It seems there are three 'V' puzzles within cooee of my home and two are down this way, also a couple of the other letters I'm missing can be found in this area so I made it a mission today to try and knock them all off.

I had a look at this puzzle a while ago and dismissed it for another day. The other night I knuckled down and did some research and was a little surprised to get the thumbs up from the checker on my first go.

Got myself to GZ and was searching around for a bit before I eventually found the interesting container in a place that I had already checked.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Busselton at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2015' event. Registrations now open.

We would like to finish the series but it is far too hot & the flies are relentless. For the sake of the dog I think we must call it a day. This one was really easy but well worth the 'just one more' & yes you can have another favourite. 100% success rate today, good exercise & good fun. TFTC

02-Nov-14
Had some fun working on this puzzle with m4yb last night and boy it took me back to that era with mixed feelings.

Once at GZ was very pleased to make the find and quite a shock too. A great hide, so thanks Kyzabra a fav from me. Smile

02-Nov-14
I worked on this puzzle for quite a while yesterday.... tried all kinds of ideas, just making the red count go up on the geo-checker.
Then a light went on in the saltwater bag upstairs and the geo went green!
The cache too was very exciting, with megawat60 finding it! TFTC Kyzabra, certainly a fave from me!

16-Sep-14
Liked the puzzle here and the cache was a surprise. TFTC and series. Giving a fav.

03-Sep-14
A lovely morning for a little bushwalk with LunaMaya - not too hot, not too cool just a perfect spring day Smile
Loved this series for a bunch of reasons but especially because it had a little bit of everything! Thanks for taking the time to set this gorgeous caching trail up Kyzabra Smile
Had this puzzle solved within minutes.... totally my cup of tea on this one!! (Shhh don't laugh at me, 80s music rocked lol)

03-Sep-14
Today was finally the day , after looking forward to doing this series for some time . The weather was perfect as Spring is here at last. Out with Toniandco today, it took us about 3 hours to complete the series. We were also able to find some other caches nearby. I enjoyed the variety of cache types and the variety of hides. The bushland is beautiful . Cache found, SL, TFTC Kyzabra Big Grin
* Adding this to our favourites for the container - it did give me a surprise ! *

Solved the puzzle fairly easy a few weeks back and today was the day to do the series. Quickly found this one after expanding my search zone. Found about 10m away from the GZ my gps had. TFTC.

I was riding/walking along a track that lead near this cache so I stopped to log another find. Thanks Kyzabra for a clever puzzle.

24-Mar-14
Awesome cache! I would have to be remiss not to give this a favourite point. TFTC.

21-Mar-14
How did you come up with that Question? I just missed the 60's so the 70's was my era. Great cache loved it:-) Easy find nice nano too.

02-Mar-14
This series has been on the radar ever since it was published. Today was the day and my geo-wife decided to join me. I was a bit surprised as it was late morning and already getting warm and she doesn't like the hot weather. I had solved the VITSOL 8 puzzle soon after it was published and this was the first of the series for us because of where I parked and the way we came in. Found quickly and signed the log. I liked the container and the puzzle too, so a fave for this one.

Thanks for the hide Kyzabra.

Out and about with richlink and Jacobscrew, thankfully the weather was kind to us today and it wasn't too hot walking the sandy and limestone tracks.
We found the all caches to be in good order with acurate coords to be good and a variety of containers.
Thanks for the series Kyzabra.

02-Feb-14
Had solved this puzzle soon after it was published but way too hot to complete the whole series. Nice breeze today ad besides the geo-me3n volunteered to walk the rest of the series so Mrs iluvtrekking and I left them to it. Co-ords good making for a quick find of a novel container. Than ks Kyzabra.

03-Jan-14
We have had our eye on this series since it was published. Today was a cooler day and I was awake early so decided to head out before the temperature started to rise. A nice walk and a neat variety of containers and cache types Big Grin. TFTC and series Kyzabra, can't wait for the rest of the VITSOL series

I had looked at this puzzle when it was published and had an idea of what I needed to do. I was wrong Sad. The CO gave me a nudge in the right direction and I soon had some likely coordinates Smile. A nice easy find this morning and a neat cache container.

10-Dec-13
Hubby was in hospital getting cut up today, so with a window of a few hours Mistraluna and I made the (in hindsight foolish) decision to track down these two new puzzles that were recently solved, along with the rest in this loop. However we severely underestimated the heat generated off the sand, combined with very little shade, and for the most part, a very sandy track, in century heat. Consequently by the time the loop was completed I was expecting to be joining hubby in the hospital as another patient!
However, after some nourishment and a shower I felt somewhat more civilized to be able to get back to his bedside to hold his hand.
This was another puzzle with a difference and after calling on the help of Google it was soon given the green tick on the first try. When at GZ the GPS couldn't find its feet properly, but it was eventually found in the first place we had both looked, but obviously not good enough.
Thanks for the fun puzzle and the cache Kyzabra.

10-Dec-13
Up this way this afternoon with urch, hoping to grab a few smiley faces. Having solved this one soon after it was published (think the geocaching gods were smiling on me when I stumbled across the solution whilst consulting google). Today's heat was almost too much for us though, and I will blame that for the attack of cache blindness we both had at this one. It wasn't there the first time I looked, I swear. Where have I heard that line before?? All good though, found it eventually, well themed too. Thanks Kyzabra

08-Dec-13
Found all these newly published caches today with my Mum & little brother & we were *FTF* on this one! We really enjoyed our walk through here, except when we got to the hot boggy sand!

TFTC Kyzabra, this was my favorite for the day! I loved the container Big Grin

08-Dec-13
I went out with ooh yeh this morning to find the new series just released. We hadn't solved the 2 puzzle ones but that didn't deter us from the rest.

After I had been home for awhile I decided to give this puzzle a go and was just typing names into Mr Google when ooh yeh rang to say she had solved it.

there is no green tick on there I thought but she then explained that checker wasn't working properly but her co-ords were confirmed correct by CO.

So she picked me up and off we went to find the cache. On the way, CO messaged to say that checker was fixed now...... no problem, we had the answer in the GPSs.

GPS just would not play nice around GZ but the cache was still found.
Congratulations to jasenjanine on their FTF (you sneaky, you)
Congratulations to ooh yeh on being the first to solve.

TFTH Kyzabra

Cool Joint *FTF* with DangerMouse09 at around 11am... Cool

After finding all but the Puzzles & the Multi in the series today, I had put Jase on the task of puzzle solving... Problem being that he was at work & there was work to be done Razz I kept hoping that he would call but he did not?

The thought crossed my mind that maybe I could get the jetski out & find the cache by other means, but never did I think it would actually happen............................ That was until I actually FOUND IT Razz Yes I found it, problem being I didn't know which one it actually was Surprised

Next problem was, Master 2 dropped the lid of the cache & I spent half an hour looking for the damn thing before I thought it was time to fess up to the CO Red Face He thought it was a bit of a laugh (luckily) & it was then when I was talking to him, that I somehow spotted the lid in the long grass! Yippee yay, now all I gotta do is find out which cache it was [^]

TFTC & the puzzle Kyzabra... I now know which one it was & am happy to have found it, as there are no green ticks from the checker yet Smile An enjoyable morning for us... We shall return for the multi & the other puzzle another day, thanks again!

2ND TF first to solve.....
Went out with skippy 46 this morning to do the series but we hant solved the 2 puzzles. When i got home i thought i would give this puzzle a go even though i usually leave the puzzles to the geohubby to do but he said music really isnt his thing and he would give the other puzzle ago.
I cant believe i managed to do this one but the only problem i had was the geochecker still said i was wrong. I phone call to the CO confirmed in the end i had the right co-ords so back out the door to pick up skippy 46 and back down to the track again. Once at GZ the gps was jumping all over the place but once it settled the cache was soon found. Have to give you a favourite point for the puzzle and the cache container TFTC Kyzabra

08-Dec-13
Yay!! We got the first of the green ticks on the geochecker. Synchronised screams of glee from myself and Mistraluna when we found what looked like a possible link and entered what we thought were the correct coordinates (little booboo in the listing might be leading others up the garden path a wee bit). Will come and collect our smileys another day though. Thanks Kyzabra
