Spent forever, well a while looking but couldn't find it. I read previous posts and thought I would be a hero and spot it but not today.
Was great for a walk down to the beach anyway.

Easy find and lovely look out. We walked along the beach to find it on a sunny day, was nice!
Found with gwd.aussie.
After eating our fill at EAT Merimbula it was decided to head north for the afternoon to grab a few caches.

Last few caches for the day brought us out here for a nice walk. Quick find here today.

19,930. Found with minniek during our Merimbula Meander.
After zipping down south for a Victorian Earthcache (and a new county for minniek) and doing another third of the VB series we headed up this way for a few nice walks and caches. This one we found the right track to GZ for a quick find. More lovely views. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks dghoffy !!

#5515 11th for today
I headed down the far south coast of NSW on a very last minute couple of days away. A recent injury (tennis elbow) has rendered me a bit bored, so a getaway was required. My usual geo-partner CC is slumming it up in Paris, so it was just me today. I found some last-minute accommodation at Merimbula and hit the road. I made a few stops on the way to break up the journey, but I have been down this way numerous times, so only a few new caches along the way. All in all, a very pleasant day, the breeze was a bit cool at times, but the variety and creativity of the caches made it well worth while.
A bit of walk for this one, but enjoyable. Not sure I noticed the view.
Thanks dghoffy

From a nearby cache,
you know the one
I headed through the scrub,
to make this cache more fun
It seemed a good idea at first,
but as the trails ran out,
I was thinking the worst !! [:o]
A wambat trail was followed now.
And after a crossing of a creek,
another trail was found to trek
Would it lead to a cache,
or leave me a wreck [:o]
Turns out that I chose a good route,
to get to the cache ... what a hoot
So where is the cache ??
A short poke around ...
... and the obvious cache was quckly found [^]
OK !! Back to the car,
and in typical style,
I headed along another track for a while

Having decided to camp closer than originally intended we had time to come and search for this cache, which was quickly spotted on having arrived at Ground Zero. We signed the log book, replaced as found and then took in the great view Thanks so much for the cache and for having bought us to this very nice location - and now with the sun having set we really must head on to our campsite for the night before it gets dark! Greetings from Zimbabwe
Took a little while to find, but got there in the end. Good hiding spot! Thanks for the cache. Adam & Kahlia
Stunning views, good walk, whale just off the shore !! Amazing! Easy find, possibly left out in the open, might need to be re-hidden but left it how we found it
Have come here lots of times love the views and the jumping whales was spectacular. Many thanks for the easy find
Thankful for your the seat.
Great views.
Follow the walking track, as you can't cut across.

We initially tried to cut across to this cache site from the path to the previous site but could only get to within 70m so headed back to the car. Then we decided to read all the info & moved the car to the suggested parking spot. Mr Geo spotted this one at GZ & after signing the log & looking at the view strolled back to the car. Kutgw
Today we headed to Tura Beach and Merimbula to grab a couple of caches and this was one we found. Another lovely stroll to GZ. Thanks for supplying parking coords for us out of towners. TFTC
Found at 1:39 PM GAFF1.
After a quick lunch we headed off along the track, scaring away monitor lizards all over the place. Hope they don't drop on your back from the trees when you pass them by
Thanks sapphcoast.

We took the long way to the cache. Once we got there we had a goanna in our way. Once we moved the goanna we had an easy find. TFTC
Found with my parents, Boeing737 and WhiteChocolateMocha. The goanna was a real treat. Glad we didn't see any snakes. TFTC
Easy find with Boeing737 and JetFuselage. The ocean views were spectacular but the goanna stole the show. It didn't show any sign of moving so I slowly moved around it in the direction of the cache. When the others did the same it moved a little bit. Easy find, log signed, then back to photographing and videoing the placid goanna.
Found on our 2015 Merimbula trip. It was getting dark now and the rain was setting in, but we still took this very lovely stroll through the bush. Such an lovely walk with such a beautiful variety of vegetation. Once at GZ, the cache was quickly found. We then signed the log while enjoying the amazing views. A very lovely spot to visit. TNLNSL. TFTC sapphcoast!
After finding the cache "Down at Tura Beach", we decided to also attempt this cache and get some well needed exercise on the way. Once in the right location the cache was quickly found by Miss A. What a great place to stop and admire the beach. TFTC
Found it ....along with 1 or 2 red belly black snakes.
A great walk - I'm loving these mini walks to get to the caches - along a lovely track. I spotted the cache hidey hole very quickly and then turned around and Aaargghhh! snake only a few metres away. I reptreated a bit further and signed the log whilst keeping an eye on the snake.
Being 3-4 metres away from the snake I decided to test how the snake responded to vibratiions and jumped up and down a few times. It raised it's head a little and stuck it's tongue out a bit. Didn't leave immediately though. When it had, I returned the cache and then went to the seat where I saw another (?) red-belly black! It was a little way from where the first was, so I am assuming it was a second one. I left and very watchfully returned up the track to the car.
Great location for a cache sapphcoast, despite the snakes. Thanks!

A beautiful location with views of the northern end of Tura Beach and the Tura headland. Walked about 300 metres from the headland car park. I think there may be a closer place to park though. Gets a favourite from me.
Another pleasant walk to another stunning view. We're becoming envious, though we don't think we could live in the suburbia we've driven through. We were on the lookout for whales but didn't spot any today.
On a short holiday at Bermagui with a couple of nights in Merimbula on the way home. Great weather and great caches.
Thanks sapphcoast
Thanks sapphcoast
A great little view from this lookout and a nice little cache. Thanks sapphcoast
The combination of geocaching and birdwatching really works for me. Today I am seeing great places, lots of interesting birds, and if someone ever starts looking at me suspiciously while I'm looking for a cache. I just look through my binoculars and they nod in understanding! Tftc
Wandered down here from "Down at Tura Beach". Had to scramble up from the beach, happily with no issues.
Thanks for bringing me here.
Thanks for bringing me here.
our 7yo geokid found this one herself, her first solo-find, very excited. Great view. Nice walk down and back, little bit far for the 2yo geokid, but he made it! tftc
Lovely walk and a seat to watch the whales go by. A pleasant place and easy find thank you sapphcoast
20:35 HRS
Quite a pleasant night for a walk. Lots of moonlit views along the coast.
Nice easy walk and a quick find at the end.
Thanks.

We walked down to this one in the dark, was a great night to do this, all we could hear was the waves crashing in the distance. Easy find.
We left home about six weeks ago with only a couple of fixed waypoints on our proposed route and so we find ourselves in Merimbula. It's great to see that the coastal strip has been spared the developers cancer. Loved the walk.
Thanks sapphcoast

Another lovely scenic spot and easy enough for my little nephews to find. Hooray! TFTC. )
Last for the day, getting dark, thanks for the lovely tracks and nice walk. TFTC
I feel like I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, going on and on about the stunning views. Don't take them for granted if you live here! Thanks for another one.
We were a little late getting away this morning for our day of caching around the beautiful Merimbula/Pambula area but we had things like packing our picnic lunch to do first plus some skyping back to Adelaide about the mega. It was a delightful day of caching and this was one of the caches we were able to find. Thanks to sapphcoast. As a post note if there are geocachers looking for somewhere to stay around this area the Merimbula Lake Holiday Park at $25 per night for a powered site it really great. Nice and clean, with a swimming pool and near the lake. Other van parks around here were asking $44 per night for a powered site.
We found this one ages ago but must have forgotten to long it on so we decided to find it again and yes it was in the same spot. TFTC JenneG & Budgy
Two day trip to Merimbula with Sol de lune. In an attempt to escape the Canberra heat and do a bit of caching we headed down the coast. Much nicer and a fun night camping. This was a nice walk down and we did not have any problems dealing with the cache. On the way back, two unattended dogs came running up the track to check us out and sacred me as I did not see them when I turned to see what was thudding up behind us. Some dog owners don't seem to care what their dogs do ! Thanks.

A neat little wander down to another cache in the area. Once at GZ, the cache was soon in hand and all was good.
Thanks for showing us another area along here.
Thanks for showing us another area along here.
A really liked the walk along here. I even met a muggle who was 'fishing' with her 3 golden retrievers! Nice hide, thanks!
I started from the top end of the track. Pity it hasn't got a sign. It needs a walking track connection to the car park a bit further on where the track takes you to the point. Thanks Sapphcoast.
