Spent a lot of time looking everywhere, gave up, gave it another try on my way back home, found it right away. No idea how I missed that the first time. But anyway TFTC !Greetings from France
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! Today I spent another day in Brisbane. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
I wasn't familiar with this old hotel, but it seemed to be quite the icon. Sadly, it seemed well abandoned, and there were a couple of people walking inside its premises. It didn't take long to locate the cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Tiki Touring for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. ---------- With my parents visiting from Adelaide this weekend, they were keen to see the Adelaide Crows play the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba. Subsequently, I chauffeured them into Woolloongabba, which allowed me to visit a few geocaches in/around Greenslopes before returning home. It was a pleasant weather day, and I enjoyed a walk/jog in East Ekiban Park and nearby Craig's Hill.
Esxaping Adelaide's 13 degrees.. finished Gabba Ad Lab, so walking about to see what else is around. Tftc
bunadoorian and I were walking to the Gabba from a nearby motel. By the time we arrived here it was dark and few muggles were around. No longer an eclipse tin that I was looking for - bunadoorian found this cache first. A quick retrieve and sign and replace without being noticed by passerbys. TFTC and for placing a piece for everyone to find Tiki Touring.
A quick find was had on our way to a lions game. A few muggles were about so some timing was required. TFTC.
Found with Brissy Cat as my 4th leap year cache to get the souvenir. She has found before though. Easy find for a cacher but well camouflaged for non-cacher eyes. Building has seen better days - itd be nice to see it renovated one day. Nice in evening light. Replaced log as it was squished and wet and falling apart. However, the log had an ad for the 2024 Adelaide Mega that is happening as I type these words. And appeared to be only cache finders from 2023 - so its not like a piece of history was disappearing. Will email photo of old log to CO - just in case.
A very hot day again. Just a couple of caches needing maintenance first. Set up a new multi and then off to do some playing with RoddyC and Imbunda.Yes, had been here previously but it took a little time to notice the well cameo'd container.TFTCache Tiki Touring
Took several walks back and forth until we found it. Great hide and such an interesting building
Tonight I went to see the absolutely amazing Descendents at the Princes Theatre. What a show. All my favorite songs played with the enthusiasm and passion as though I was watching them some 30 years ago. Brilliant. And as I was on the other side of the river, a quick cache on the way home.Thanks!!#3555
Great quick one on our way to mirchi masala the Indian spice store across the street. TFTC
Found it in a cheeky spot!
The cache is a small tube that has been placed (not magnetic as old post states). Tree image below is a clue if needed!

A nice find on this one tonight. Not quite where expected but big thank you to Freddo for replacing. Tftc
Thankyou to Freddo who replaced this cache and the hint about the container change. New cache found about 1.5m above original hide. Don’t know how that one eluded me so long. Thanks for the hide, maintenance and extra clue.
The last 2 DNF were discouraging and I gave it 20min of looking and couldn't see anything. Will keep an eye out for logs that people found it then I will come back.
Checked all the pics but I didn't see anything.

There is still no cache in the original spot. There is a container upside down and without a lid on top of the bend of a downpipe but that is it. I’d love to know what people are finding.
I found Freddo’s replacement cache very quickly. I stayed and checked a few more places in case the original was still hiding here somewhere but I couldn’t see it anywhere.
Third report that this cache is missing. Replaced from the resources of the Freddo back pack.

Found a viable hiding spot consistent with hint and photos. Found the lid of an old eclipse. No cache located at this time. Thanks for placing this cache.
Four of us found it on a night out. If we can do it drunk you can do it sober. Not too bad overall ️

Today I found myself with time to kill, having brought 1MinnieMooJnr over to South Brisbane for an appointment. So a check of the map and I decided to find a spot somewhere between the appointment and the caches I was after, a little closer to the caches of course.
With two caches down, I was doing ok with time and headed quickly on the warm journey to this one.
Once at GZ it only took moments to make my find.
Thanks for the cache Tiki Touring.

Found it using the photo in activity, and it is a really nice spot! Thank you for the cache, this one was really awesome!
Today I decided to catch a bus to Woolloongabba to complete one of the stops on the Craft Breweries AL. As I was heading back to the bus station I remembered to take a look at the Geocaching app to see if there was anything else nearby.
I noticed a sad blue face not too far away. About face & I retraced my steps to head here. When I last searched 3 1/2 years ago there was some temporary fencing although comments suggested that the cache was still achievable. Today there was no fencing & I still searched the same length of wall. The hint instilled some fear that it would be beyond me to even search for or find the cache. I was about to give up but examined the activity logs & photos one last time. Pacing along the wall to look more closely & with a bit more thought about the hint (yes that really hurt) & I came up with some other options. A quick check & the cache was in hand. Not so difficult after all when you know where it is!
As noted by the last finder the log was full but after scratching around in my bag I found a scrap of paper that I added to the cache. Log signed & cache replaced. So pleased that this is now a smiley TFTC

took me a few minutes but eventually got it. super easy once you realise and nice to find a geocache where there aren’t many. filled in the last slot on the paper so may want to add another.
Many top corners but then I spotted the correct, easy to access, one. Thanks for bringing me to this place. Tftc
On the way to the footy. Tried to find this last game but had no success. This time I had my Geo boys with me and they were able to spot it!

TFTC! Moved to Brissy 6 weeks ago but only just starting to explore more of it now.
Relatively quick find this morning while my car was being serviced. Never really been to this little corner. Thanks for this!
Finally, we found it when I nearly gave up after almost an hour.
I felt overwhelmed cus here is my first spot in Geocaching.

I finished work and noticed this cache was only 200 metres away, so after packing up the car I wandered down the road to grab it.
Once at Gz I had a brief search and quickly spotted the sneaky hide.
Thanks for giving me a reason to stop by.
