Geocache maintenance is a cache owner responsibility. Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all geocachers. The rule is; if you can't fix it straight away then "Disable" it till you can - I have disabled it for you this time! [^]
Please respond to this situation by 18th October to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to date, or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

This cache appears to have gone based on what I know of it and previous finders unable to find it. Can CO please verify it is there as it is quite a dangerous spot.
Have located this one on a previous occasion (but not logged). Whilst my memory was a bit hazy, I searched where I believed it was then without luck. There's been some flood water through here, so if it was low to the creek.... Perhaps the CO can check it's still here?
We came. We terrain-ed. We searched. We went high and low. But no cache revealed today =[ cheers anyway!
A warm and windy night tonight as we did a run around the hills and suburbs cleaning up a few new caches. Thanks RvBHunter for the cache.
Will fix as soon as possible, this Geocache must be living up to its name with the amounts of problems we have had with it.
Log sheet and geocache note completely soaked despite the cache lid being on properly. Needs drying out, ? replacing and a ziplock bag at the least.
Found this one today. I had looked a number of times before and was waiting for this one to be re-enabled before finding it. I was sure that I had looked where I found the cache before but obviously not hard enough. Found it in the second place I looked today but when I went to sign the log the log and the geocache information sheet were absolutely soaking wet. I scribbled my initials and part of the date but don't know whether it will survive once the log is dry. I will add a needs maintenance log to this cache.
Thanks for the cache RvBHunter.

I was on my way past this afternoon so stopped in to check on this one. The log that the cache was hidden in/under when I found it three months ago is no longer there. Seems like the cache is living up to it's name.
This cache needs replacing or archiving.

I'm down in Melbourne with T-Tech visiting relatives for Christmas, and while I'm here I want to grab as many caches as possible to fill in gaps on my Jasmer grid, as well as some of the more unusual icons. T-Tech wanted to visit this one as he liked the D?T ratings. We found good parking and made our way to GZ. However, the co-ords took us to a tree which did not look like a suitable hiding spot We searched a little further and found a spot that sort of matched the hint, but even though T-Tech was keen, he couldn't make the find
Looks like I join the list of DNF, I rang a previous finder who told me where to look, no cache to be found there.
Armed with some better coordinates I had another bite if this cherry.
Still no joy.
Still no joy.
Either the clue is inaccurate OR the coords are out.
GZ is not currently near the sewer, or if it should be, then the coords could do with a tweak.
Will return with more definite directions

Worst geocacher ever. I just left a path of absolute but unintentional destruction. I returned to the spot tonight again after spending half an hour there this morning and not finding it. I have just arrived home, and had to get changed into dry clothes straight away because for the last forty minutes, I have dug and slipped and peeked and scratched and fallen in the creek and crossed it about eight times... and I still have nothing to show for it .
I can not find this. I excitedly pulled on about 20 different cords and pieces of wire and old stockings and straps, hoping that the cache was attached.... but no luck. I have no idea which side of the creek I am meant to be on, and I so desperately want to find it. Felt like a bit of a creepy 'lurker' when a muggle saw me when he walked past... and then saw me AGAIN half an hour later... still playing around in the creek.
PRETTY PLEASE will you give me another clue?? I might have to email you privately. Thanks so much for the fun and the challenge. I truly don't understand how some people can say it's a 'quick find'. Next time, I'll try not to leave the place looking like an elephant had been going for a swim in the creek. Perhaps I just need a bit more practise.

Found 14:15, after a brief search. A relatively easy find given the description and terrain rating.
TNLN, thanks RvBHunter.

Crusty K9 and I went out this afternoon to enjoy the sunshine and find a few caches. This one alluded us as we searched both sides of the creek.
Crusty.

I had scouted this one out a month or two ago and after seeing the recent dnfs thought I'd go for a look. Took a while to find even having located it before but it is still there. Signed log and replaced. Left nothing took coords.
Thanks RvBHunter for the cache.

Out early morning to get a couple of caches before flying out to Thailand for two weeks holiday.
Looked high and low, left and right, in and out, this side and that side, over and under and then ran out of time. This will have to wait for another day.

Spent some time rummaging around the creek but no luck. Didn't feel quite so bad this time because Geoff couldn't find it either!!!
No luck with this one.
GPS jumped around a bit and there were lots of hiding places, and lots of geo trampling around GZ, but nothing for us here today.
Thanks anyway RvBHunter

The Moose made short work of this one after picking up Happy pants for an afternoon's caching. Thanks for the cache in this piece of natural habitat.
Had a quick look for this one day past but was not sure if I was on the right side of the creek. Being so close to home I went home read up and had a good idea of where it might be. Back I went and there sure enough was the cache. I do not think that this was 4 star Terrain, but it may be different if there was a bit of rain. Thanks RvHunter

Out for an early morning jog along the freeway trail this morning, and this seemed as good a 'turning point' as any. So after hauling up to a walk near GZ I headed over to this spot. Like so many people before I headed across the creek before realising my mistake and then having to backtrack back to the original side.
Once there the cache took me longer than it probably should have - Due to a well hidden cache and some lazy caching on my part. Or maybe I just wanted a longer break before having to jog the 5km back! Oh well.... Detour via croissants and all is good with the world

Time: 5:53pm
Find # 3096
Sreak: 19 days
After a nearby doctors appointment I still needed a cache to continue my streak. After a DNF at the nearby ants puzzle I headed to this one for what turned out to be a nice quick find in the fading light.
Thanks to RvBHunter for the cache. TNLN

Found while out and about with Slink1. As we often do we let the GPS guide us on our random caching run. TFTC TNLN SL
Found on an afternoon caching run with Dunko, as always we enjoyed where the caching took us.

Not as much parkouring to get this one as I was looking forward to, but luckily there were stable enough looking trees lying across the creek to run across. They weren't stable...
Quickly decended on this one with the geo wife, she kept her feet high and dry as I did the searching. Soon came up with the cache, I just hope that it doesn't live up to its name after haevy rains. Thankks RvBHunter for the cache.
Find #1094. Found @ 16:40 with Muggle-L.
I had planned on heading to Ballarat to visit fellow cacher Muggle-L for the cache and coffee event for today, but received a message as I was about to leave telling me that conditions were not favourable. I'm not usually one to let that put me off, but Muggle-L offered to come to visit instead.
When she arrived, we went for a nice lunch with the family, then eventually set off to find a few caches in 100-acre wood. While we were travelling, the weather we tried to avoid in Ballarat caught up with Muggle-L. We took stock of caches nearby and decided to visit this area instead.
I parked nearby and we strolled towards GZ. I checked the satellite view and we decided we needed to be on the other side. Given the light rain falling at this time, we decided (discretion being the better part of valour) to walk around. Once on the other side we spotted something of interest indicated in the cache description, but (and I'm sure you guessed it) it was on the side we started on.
This time we were more adventurous and crossed without incident. A bit of logical though process from Muggle-L discovered the cache, soon followed by cache in hand by yours truly (after an accidental practical demonstration of gravity, buoyancy, rudimentary tool usage, and spanning balance).
The log was signed, the container replaced, then the heavens opened. By the time we'd made it back to the car, the light rain become heavy rain, and we decided to call it a day.
On the trip home this proved wise as the heavy rain turned to a downpour... then ramped up to deluge. If we could have seen more than a few metres out of the car, I'm sure we'd have spotted some bearded bloke with a big boat collecting pairs of animals - just in case.
Note - no cache containers, or cache hunters were hurt in the unfolding of this adventure.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache RvBHunter.

Needed a cache for my next August day souvenir so headed over to this one. After coming in from the wrong side of the creek, luckily not too much water so crossed over easily and made the find nice and quickly thanks to the hint. TFTC.
I was in the area for work today and had the opportunity to grab a few caches this afternoon. I parked in a nearby street and made my way to GZ. I had to hunt around a bit before locating the nicely tucked away cache. Thanks for the hide.
The co-ords get you to the right neck of the woods but I reckon 12 metres out so follow the hint. Come the next flood the name of the cache will be spot on. Thanks RyHunter.
It was a cold day today, and for some reason the aircon was on in my office, with no way of turning it off, so it was a good day to be out and about doing work from the car with the heater working full blast. I spent a few hours travelling around and picked up a couple of caches along the way. This was one of them. An easy stroll to GZ where the cache was found easily within seconds. I'm not sure why this one scores such a high terrain rating, maybe it's been placed to fill in a D/T matrix square? Thanks for the cache.
Awesome hiding spot, well hidden. Added a panda, and a tank puzzle took nothing
7.30am. Out early this morning to pick up some milk, I just couldn't resist this one now closest to home. Parked the car right nearby and it as a quick walk to GZ. Co ords had me over the river but having done the research before hand I knew where it had to be. Having missed the spot the first time looking I made the find on my return. Hide it a little better on its return.
Thanks for the cache RvHunter TNLN

14:25. FTF! The geokids and I had just had a FTF on another cache nearby and we decided we would try for this one as well. As we approached we saw a 4WD drive off and I assumed that was the first finder. As we got close the iPhone suggested crossing the creek - which we did. I don't recommend that with little ones. Worse was that the iPhone then changed it's mind. I looked at the hint and we crossed back. Once we knew roughly where to look it was just a matter of keeping the kids at bay until I retrieved the cache and let them have a look while I signed the log. I put it back and obscured it as best I could and we headed home.
Two FTF's in one outing! Thanks RvBHunter.
