A much quicker find than the last one in this series. Very glad to be able to grab another one of these well crafted caches prior to them being removed. Definitely an amazing series. Thanks Pac-Man
Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit these caches while enjoying the East-West walk over the past 6 years.
Last year while we were house sitting near Lara I added my name to the long list of DNF's at this location. This year, house sitting the same place, I was glad to find this cache had been reinstated and today I finally got around to signing the new(ish) log.
Thanks

Found very quickly and very unexpectedly considering the magnificent camouflage.
We wondered why it was needed in this area.

First visit to the You Yangs in many years . Lovely spot and we had a great day, sighting some Kangaroos, Wallabies, Hawks, and even some wild goats, along with some great scenery and some great caches.
Thanks for this one ThePacman.

This was my last free weekend day whilst Tarbit was holidaying overseas and so a plan was hatched to tackle some caches in the You Yangs with SirJ-Oz. As per usual I did the driving and he did the navigating. Once we realised the Circle Drive was closed to vehicles we altered our original plans and decided to walk this track. We certainly made hard work of this one. In the end SJO checked a spot where I had looked in detail (honest guv, I did!) and made the find. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and this series in a great location ThePacman. A hot day today but a lovely walk nonetheless.
Find #4112. Found @ 12:27 with Annoying Tarbit
The plan for today was to visit the You Yangs and surrounds with Annoying Tarbit, and have a day of caching. We didn't count on the Great Circle Drive being closed, so ended up doing (according to my fitbit) almost 20kms of walking for the day. It was a long day with AT collecting me at 8am and I got home again about 10pm.
A while back I supervised a Cub Scout Grey Wolf hike along this trail and had a half hearted quick search for a couple of the caches in this series, but found none of them. Today turned out with much better results.
This one took us an age to find, we were concentrating on a particular area and having no luck. Annoying Tarbit and I expanded our search area and we were about to give up when I moved over to where AT had just been looking and made the find. At least both of us have looked buffoon-esque today.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache ThePacman

Out and about today with AaronFilms and Sinornithosaurus doing some hiking around the trails of the You yangs and managed to pick up some caches on our adventure. All in all the day was really fun and we completed the Flinders Peak trail and the East West circuit also, thanks to the CO for placing this series of caches for our enjoyment!! Visited some trackables, #452
Racking up the caches on this epic walk around the circuit, thanks for another enjoyable hunt and cache!!

Checked this cache and it is missing. The original hiding place cannot be replicated as the 'location' has deteriorated naturally, so it will be moved nearby.
I'm going to add a DNF to this as well. I didn't look that hard but since it hasn't been found since last year, I'd say the odds are against me.
Park was ridiculously busy today, so I had to search for this one in between the packs of muggles coming through every 30 seconds or so, no joy. Might have to come back on a miserable day to have another go at this one.

neměli jsme dost času na hledání, ale tam, kam pořád ukazovala gps, jsme nic nenašli

We couldn’t find this one. The kids were getting hungry and there were way too many muggles popping up with minimal notice.
Another find goes to geoP as geoD completely overthinks it again and pays too much attention to the arrow on the screen. A simple yet effective hide.

Out for a bit of a walk around the You Yangs with friends today and we have decided to take on the West track around the hill. While everyone was having a rest I went to work looking for this one, was about to give up because everyone was leaving and then I found it, now to jog a bit to catch up. TFTC
Much happiness here as echidna44 found this straight away. Saved some time which was likely to be in short supply if we were to make the exit time TFTC The Pacman
Out with au.fait, this was an extremely quick find. Very clever, l was just lucky. This saved us some time from searching. Thanks ThePacman
#3 of 8 - Loz found this one straight away. A fair bit of smoke off to the left. Un/controlled?

Found this cache on the way to a new puzzle. Once again a lot of effort put in to the cache. Well Done Pacman.

After the first three caches on this track I wasn't planning on doing any others. The kids had enough and just wanted to focus on the walk. We stopped to rest here for a moment, so I decided to check the caching app. I was just a few metres from this cache so decided to have a look. Nicely hidden in an easily accessible location. TFTC.
As I had the afternoon to myself I decided to have a go at the East-West Walk and knock off some caches as well. I was a bit dispirited at not finding the first 2, but finding the 3rd cheered me up and allowed my to push on. I paused for a moment to catch my breath and have a snack on the now downward track, I spotted the cache. I completed the walk was on this very fine afternoon. TFTC.
My friend found it and launched her arm to the sky and yelled out "I've found it!". I quickly covered the situation and told her that we couldn't do that with a family having lunch of a rock back down the path. Got away with it as we were mostly hidden and signed and returned the cache when all was cool to do so.
Sneaky little find. TFTC!

Found It.......Found this guy while out on a day hike with our Scout Group. After arriving at GZ the search began and by this time there was only 3 sets of eyes looking and we where going round and round looking in all sorts of places but with time getting away from us we nearly gave up on it only to see something different ans on closer inspection the cache was in our hand and after signing the log we moved onto the next one. Thanks ThePacman for the cache
Find #1052
1st time in the You Yangs so started with a walk around the east-west track. The cache series gave us some great spots to take in the flat landscape! coords were all good but some of the climbing was a little challenging at some due to the rainy morning. TFTseries! 4/10

Whilst on the way to GZ I once again encountered the group of 20-something muggles I had seen twice previously. They were taking a break off the path at what looked to be a very scenic spot and I mentally wished them to remain there as GZ was utterly hidden from them and about 20-30m away. I had the opportunity to make the find but not complete the duties and replace the cache before they were upon me again so once again I had to wait them out before I could replace the excellently camo'd cache back into its hide.
Some great views out this way and time to enjoy the serenity without anyone else out on the track in the heat of the day (except crazy geocachers!). Spotted the glint of the cache container and soon had the prize in hand. Enjoyed looking at the view of the peak from this side after the climb yesterday. TFTC
We are keen geocachers from New Zealand, on holiday here and picking up a few smileys as we go. Mum with baby on her back saw this while waiting for us over zealous cachers to find it... You can never have too many geocaching eyes Signed and carefully re-hidden. TFTC.
Enjoying the walk today...except the typical Melbourne weather is happening. Started nice and warm, but now those rain clouds are starting to come over! We had to help a family chase theirdog nearby which was cute. Enjoyed the wattles starting to bloom.Sneaky little hidden cache here. TFTC
We have been wanting to do this series for some time now, its so close to us but I guess we were just too lazy to get to it.
But today we changed that, in great company topped with perfect weather made this day very enjoyable.
We could not believe this one, right out there in your face and we still overlooked it.
What a bold hide.
Thanks Mr Pacman for another great hide, here have another Favourite point.

Another superlative cache ThePacman, it is so well hidden almost in plain sight. Luckily The Tritonz found it almost immediately or we could have been looking for a while. Great camo, a favourite from me.
Out for a mid-winters walk with the GeoKids. On a roll now - this one took no time at all! I did however have problems getting it back into place to my satisfaction, again with no help from the GeoKids.

Found this cache whilst having a nice walk seeing all the amazing views that are seen around this trail. This time I took my friend Taylah to show her this crazy little game that we all play. All the caches that we found on this track were clever and nice but sadly we weren't able to find them all as Taylah begun to feel a little sick so we headed back. Even though we didn't have a chance to find them all we both had a fun time and hopefully Taylah is keen to go out geocaching with me again. Had a great time finding all these caches and seeing all these beautiful views. Thanks for the cache and for all the amazing views.

.. Our hike continues on the loop, taking much longer than anticipated, I had another cache planned on the other side of the park but that's going to have to be another day. This was the quickest find, a clever hide that caught my eye instantly. This series is all about the views and we are enjoying reading the descriptions at each cache and of course enjoying the view - happiness indeed
OMG!! Im blown away by this one... Fantastic hide again!!! It is my first day of geocaching
Headed out for the day and decided to do my favourite walk to see if there were any caches, absolutely loved this trail. Tftc
Lots of caches to find and beautiful views! Catching up on late logs, thanks!

Found by our muggle friend, I think she's getting the hand of it! Had a couple groups of muggles pass us during this retrieval! TFTC!
And another very well hidden micro. This one was really easy to miss, but sometimes you just need to be a little lucky

A short walk onto #4 where my co-ords had me in the wrong place but Neville_devils were on the money so he made the find and we signed my last cache for the day as I had already done #5 on the way to another cache back in July. Nevile was still to find #5 so of we trekked

We finally made the East-West trek through the You Yangs, with DreamyDragon. We are enjoying the walk so far. Taking a bit longer than sign says. The climb is levelling off so we can catch our breath. This find was tricky and had us wandering around. Luckily DreamyDragon found it or I would still be there. I wasn't expecting that! Tftc.
Reperio at 1455.
Day 9 of my great Victorian geocaching trip ahead of the Melbourne mega event, and whilst things weren't going so great having ruptured my pectoralis tendon a few days in Bendigo, I figured that even with my arm in a sling, I could still enjoy the wonderful surrounds of the You Yangs and find a few caches.
As I continued around the trail to number 4, given the previous camo, and that this one was a micro, I decided to read the cache page to get an idea of what lay ahead. I had that feeling that I was in for a lenghty search, but as it turned out, the cache was discovered after a couple of minutes. After having to bypass so many adventurous caches throughout the week due to my injury, I was really enjoying get out and about here today.
Gratias ThePacman.

This was about to be my very own Mount disappointment. GPS pinging all over the place. Searched for ages. Gave up, checked one more spot no where near my indicated GZ on the way out and voila. Hooray! Thanks
Over on a quick trip to Melbourne and felt the need for a nice bush walk and having had some experience with ThePacman's talents decided that his You Yang Views series was the ideal solution.
First day of spring, beautiful weather, so recruit muggle sister (to carry lunch) and head for the hill.
Lots of muggles out and about, carpark over half full.
Had a very enjoyable walk around the hill, took a break for lunch half way, then finished time away from the big smoke with coffee next to the carpark. Nice.
This clever hide took quite a while to find despite being only one meter away from my GZ
And many thanks to ThePacman for another fantastic series in an excellent location, good co-ords, nice hides, what more can I say.
Keep on caching

Continued on down the trail to this cache. Muggle companions were continual along my walk and there were yellow flowers that lined the trail. Was also great to see the other side of the ridge too. Quickly found this great micro which was very well camouflaged. Since the cache was right on the trail, had to be very quick in my signing duties. Thanks Pacman. Moving on...
On this pretty cold and overcast day, we have taken our dog for a hike in the You Yangs and found all caches of PacMan's "You Yangs Views" series.
Another micro hidden in a great spot. This one took a while to find

This hide took a little longer to discover. Hidden in plain view Mrs Y'stassie must have looked straight at it half a dozen times before recognising what it was. Great work ThePacman.
Cache and contents were in very good condition. Clue was recorded.
Thanks for this one and another favorite point.

Very fun!! Duckling had fun finding this one!!! Thank you for your creative cache containers to keep the family happily caching!!
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there ThePacman. We found your cache "You Yangs Views #4 - Happiness" at 12:15:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 10397.

We thoroughly enjoyed our "stroll" around the You Yangs today. While we were doing the walk in an anti-clockwise direction, everyone else seemedto be doing it the other way.
We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious construction.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

I have been waiting for just the right conditions to tackle these 10 caches and being midweek and about 20 degrees forecast all was ideal. I did my preparation last night noting that I would need clues along the way which were duly collected. The terrain was mixed but easy going with such a good track. the hides were varied and sometimes just plain fantastic.
As I made my way around to the 4th cache I wondered if I should scamper up to the summit but I found no good way leading through and abandoned that idea for now.
Light drizzle falling but no issues here

Had a lovely day out in the You Yangs today made better by this series of caches. Thanks to ThePacman for the effort in setting these up. A few of them were very well disguised and had us stumped for a while, in particular number three. Almost gave up and then, like a few others seem to have, just stumbled upon it. Will definitely back to this national park to pick up some other caches.
A fantastic walk. Thanks for series.
Enjoyed getting the rest of the series. All were well placed, creative hides and with perfect co-ords.
