Logs
Found camo hut no cache or log. Tried to reunite but cldnt find. TFTC
This was the extent of our caching detour as we head to Joondalup and we searched all about for a while with no luck. Then axell33 found the constructed camo in what would be the obvious place I. Plain sight. Unfortunately it had no cache to it, which may have been place elsewhere as per previous log. We did look for it but no luck and lots of spots! Another clever hide! Thank you duck 43.
Time for one more, so this become our last stop. We searched high and low with no luck, after about the 4th search of the area we hit on what is definitely the camo and its awesome it blends in so beautifully. Unfortunately the cache is no longer with the camo, after reading the previous log we kept searching hoping to reunite the two but 20 minutes later we called time, we definitely couldnt find where the cache had been re-hidden. Impressed with the camo so much that another favourite point coming up. TFTC duck 43.
Cache was laying out in the open on the ground well away from it's coordinates. Need a new log as it is tatty. Replaced where it should be.
As mentioned by Hunterzed I spotted a duck 43 cache tube laying on the ground but clearly this is not the one we were searching for. We left in place after signing the log sheet as could see no other obvious spot where it could have come from. Continued the search but couldnt locate another cache as described by others in the activity.
Found the duck logsheet in its container lying out in the open so we signed the log and left as found because we couldnt work out where it had come from. I suspect this is not the intended cache and although we did technically sign the log here and are claiming a smiley, it didnt feel very satisfying. We spent another 20 minutes or so here but couldnt locate what looked like a newly replaced cache.
Unfortunately this one has reached its use by date. I am working on a replacement.
Came couple of weeks ago but didn't have a pen with me so back again to log it in
All good here ..finally ...after many previous defeats..have stopped here so many times on bike rides but today finally I cracked it..cache and log in good condition..as always duck tftc
Came back for another try and found it. Number 651 for me. Nice hide but it won't stay in its camo.
Second attempt here and glad we had Jenn with us, her eagle eyes found the cache! TFTC found it at night, I guess it would be a lovely view during the day!
Another fail here but I am batting 50% today with my duck caches so some you win and often I lose..I will be back..area has been cleared out a bit since I last searched but still so many possibilities and those trees confusing the gps..I will be back tfth
A little unsure at first as the trees looked like it has been chopped up. Like everyone else, we found it as we were about to leave. Hint : aim low, and a clue is hidden in the title itself.
Returned to this one after doing some others and finally found the cache. It is not well stuck inside the host. Great camo though. Took ages. TFTC
After initial search gave up and continued along path. Came back with a fresh outlook and a ground plan. Tftc
Lots of hiding places, and the trees mess up the coordinates quite a bit. Spent quite while looking for something that would conceal a mint tin. About to quit, and found it. Mint tin it us not!!
Coordinates were very off and sent me looking in the wrong direction… Found as I was about to leave.

Nice cache here. Checked lots of camo opportunities here, but was about to leave when found the cache!

Was just about to leave but found!!! After a lot of searches tftc!!!! Very sneaky and mean one hehe
Fairly quick find and a lot easier during the day. Another great camo. Thanks for replacing.
I think we found that by luck really. Not sure whether it's in correct place so I'll give coords to CO and replace as found (but not the cache side up as we found it). tftc
Found with Skycat12, cache was exposed so we replaced as we thought it should be. Tftc
Not for me today..will be back on another ride on another day to search..cheers and tfth
Found with SAWRT on our arvo ride around part of the river. Quick find more luck than anything. Tftc
I have absolutely no idea how I managed to find this one!
I'm putting it down to pure luck rather than some well thought out strategy.
Leaving with a few unhappy ants still attached to my legs.

It’s Wednesday , Kapelula and I are kid free so why not hit the streets geocaching or more specific hunting ducks and maybe a few other caches in between.
This one we searched and walked in circles for awhile before something caught my eye and yep it was the cache. Tftc

Such a lovely morning for a walk along the river and finding some very clever hides. TFTC!
Found on 17 th August after much looking - 2 adults, 2 children. Rather wet inside. TFTC
2nd time round. Cache was separated. Have rehidden but don't know if its correct
Just about to leave when I saw it on the floor. Was it supposed to be there? I think you also need another log it is a waterlog but anyways TFTC!
Fantastic thank you. Needed the hint in one of the earlier logs to get the right idea
Started off looking with the wrong idea but after some discussion we got onto it. Another awesome cache!
Right near GZ... Left to put fit to sleep.
Cache was about 10m away and I had to just be methodical... And quiet

Quite random, could of been searching for a while but just got lucky! Classic duck43! TFTC happy hunting!
Great! Had to come back after a 15 minute break to re-think our methods. Super fun!
#5487 2nd for today
In Perth and after a wonderful trip across the Nullabor from Adelaide. Our home is Canberra, but we've done the trip from here to Adelaide before so we flew across to Adelaide and hired a car. I've been the Perth pre-GC so it was great to grab a few while I'm here. Beautiful warm weather, great for tackling some of these on foot, but I was a bit tired by the end.
Great spot and well hidden.
Thanks duck 43

Chasing faves for the Cache Carnival Challenge, came by for a couple of duck 43's.
Took quite a while here, going in circles and checking out many items before persistence paid off. TFTC duck 43.

On a hunt for the Carnival souvenirs, I targeted several high FP caches this morning in an area that I had not been to before. This was my first stop for the day and I found a couple of decoys before finding the cache - nice camouflage! Thank you for the hide duck43.
Found some decoys before we located the real cache. Thanks Duck43 for another amazing hide.
Thanks clever hide. We found a few decoys before we found the well hidden cache. Favourite point added
Logging late here. Found on 18/02/19. Went on a long walk today from Canning Bridge to Bull Creek with caching the only thing on my mind. Had a great time! Log signed and replaced as found.

Out today on the geo-bike to grab the final 14 finds to hit 1000! Was planning to knock off 13 with the 14th (1000th) being the new duck cache.... however, as it turned out, that didn't end up being the case, because I accidentally grabbed 14! [:o)] hahaha. Took me 7.5 years to get here and a screwed it up in typical me fashion.
Having seen the cache had been replaced, today seemed like an appropriate time to locate the cache. After a short search, I had located the cache.
Cheers duck! Have a favourite for your efforts! [^]

Seeing it had been replaced I had to find it. Knowing what I was after I still got 4 bits of encouragement before signing the log. TFTC.
Decided to clear up some duck caches and started here. Bad start. GZ seemed like someone had spent some time here having a serious search. All I could get was warm.
Hmm, not quite sure why this cache has so many favourite points honestly. Namelessman and Yvetteoh made the find after us all journeying through previous logs for hints. The photo someone posted definitely helped to point us in the right direction.
TFTC duck 43! This was find #7 of 9 finds and 2 DNFs during an evening cache run along this stretch with Yvetteoh and Namelessman.
