With a heavy heart I think its time for this one to go.
I have replaced this one a number of times and it keeps getting muggled. The park itself has changed and the clues for the cache need reworking too. Hopefully this will clear the area for a new hide.

Solved the puzzle, great exercise with 3 boys. Shame I couldn’t find it. From other logs this one is either a dud or needs a better clue as it’s crazy hidden
We completed the cachercise circuit and after some calculations, we headed to GZ. Did some searching but found no cache.
We did spot a furry little friend in one of the crevices, but didn't want to disturb him.
Thanks for the cache though. We enjoyed solving the mystery!

I solved the puzzle quickly, but no luck at gz. I'm wondering if I need to think laterally instead of vertically?
After grabbing the coords and confirming them i spent a good long time at the GZ with no success.
Back in play!! Sorry for the delay in getting this one up and running. Some good unloved days available here....
Found all details and correct using checker but after extensive look at go no cache found. Very cool breeze today.
Three DNFs in a row, time for a check on this one....Cache may have gone walkies.....
Decided to head down to the park to get some exercise and fresh air. I followed the instructions and ended up with what I hoped lead to the cache.
I went to the positioning to look for the cache but had no luck. I may have made an error or it could have been taken.

Took a slight deviation on the way to work today, jumping off the M5 Motorway at King Georges Road, to grab a few caches around Oatley, with a stop-off at Olds Park to re-visit a previous DNF. This was the 1st of 6 finds for today.
I had already done my "cachercising" back in February when I DNFed this one, so today it was straight to GZ for a fresh look to see if I could find what I had missed on that previous visit. It took a while but, with some light rain falling, I eventually uncovered the hide and had CIH. It’s well hidden, and I can see how I managed to miss it last time, but very pleased to now have this one to fill our 3rd last calendar gap on our “hidden date” calendar grid.
The log sheet was very wet and difficult to sign, but I managed to leave my mark and then replace everything as I had found it. TNLN. TFTC Nessell.

After spending a couple of hours caching around Oatley Park, I felt like one more and stopped off here on my way home. Quickly had some numbers that the checker liked and made my way towards GZ. There were quite a few people enjoying the park this afternoon. Thankfully a quick find in the first place I checked. Log is pretty wet but I managed to unfold it and add my name using a felt tip pen.

Checked on this one given the recent DNF. Cache is still in place waiting to be found.
Happy caching!
Happy caching!
Was specifically targeting this cache today for it's "hidden" date, so it was very disappointing to have to leave with a DNF. Did all of the hard work "cachercising" my way around the track, and had some good numbers for final GZ, but alas I failed to locate the cache container. Searched GZ for at least 30 minutes, taking note of the hint of where not to look, but just couldn't locate it. Maybe next time. TFTH anyway Nessell.

We cachercised at almost each equipment..
Ev said he knew where gz was but owner maintenance was done so it's possible that the cache was moved. I was just about to give up when MaxAdventurer placed his hand on the hide and we all got to sign the log!

As if we didn't get enough cachercise at the GeocachingNSW Event "Climbing into Spring" at the Sydney Indoor Climbing Centre" at St Peters, we continued on to find a handful of caches after lunch. More cachercise here in the park. Thanks for reenabling this cache. TFTC Nessell
Cache checked, description updated and new checker added. Thanks to Ironbark for replacing the cache. All good to go here.
Thanks Nessell for adopting this cache for me when I couldn't continue to give it the love it deserves. Just writing this log to convert this into a smiley
Thanks to smirkwood for creating this great cache and for adopting it to me.
I will complete a check on the cache in the next week and update the page if necessary. I will also add a new checker for the final coords. Stay tuned.....

Did the walk, did the calcs, had a long look then PAF a prior finder to confirm it was missing in action.
I will be back next week so e-mailed the owner to see if I can replace it for them.
If so it will be back in action next Saturday before the netball grand final.

Going to finally log a DNF for this one. I collected the info to solve this one last year and got a green light on the checker (before the website stopped working). I have looked for the cache(s) on a few occasions now including a really good look this afternoon and can't seem to find it/them(?). Given another previous DNF and the fact this one hasn't been found for over 6 mths, a check by the CO might be worthwhile in case it's been muggled or moved.
Ahhh I can sit back and laugh about this cache now but yesterday as I walked the circuit in search of all the info the heavens opened up resulting in a drowned Rat. Pressing on I got a set of likely coords and spent plenty time searching at GZ which offered a bit of pretection from the rain. Unfortunately I couldnt find the cache.
A nice walk around the track counting plus one. And a nice quick find once the muggle walked away. Greetings from Moorhelmi
Was a fun challenge and walk! Enjoyed it, though Geopup was tired in the end.
I had been looking at this cache for a number of months, but had never gotten around to going there to complete my exercises. Then I received a message from Brewmaker saying that he was going to find the cache, so I thought It was time that I got myself along to the park. The cache, or should I say caches, were both quickly spotted by Brewmaker - both the original one and the newer replacement one (after the original cache went missing). TFTCs
Two cachercise for the price of one!
Visited Olds Park recently and did all the counting and calculating, but didn't have time to do the searching as I had to pick up Mrs C8. So today, with Mikev along for some training, we checked the data once more and headed towards GZ. Though previous photos and logs seemed to indicate there were two different containers available.
Despite many muggles passing by, within moments I found the cache that the most recent finder had logged (bison). Then I thought I might see if I could locate the other one, and seconds later I had it CIH too (mint tin). Wow! Two finds within 10 seconds - does that give me two smileys?
All in all a good puzzle cache. It got me outside into the park for some light exercise and then cachercise complete. And in the end GZ was about 15m from where I started my calculations a week ago! TFTC. #559 (and #560?)

Day off today and partner suggested taking kids to Olds Park so was excited to see a Mystery Cache in the area. I have been caching for a couple of weeks and wanted to get the family in on the action and this was the perfect way.
We walked around and got the required info to calc the final position, only to find a couple of muggles camped out very close to GZ and looking very comfortable with their position. Kids wanted to keep moving so we came back on a second visit soon after and with a little guidance; the wife officially became 'the geo-wife' with her first find.
Thanks for the cache, it was a good hunt and find.

I arrived at the park and did my exercise, counting as I went
At GZ I found a camo'd container on the ground, it was empty. I added a slip with my name in as a new log and hid it where I thought it ought to go
CO can ask me if they wish to check on it

Wow we found the cache after very heavy rain. Log is drenched so could not write on it. Container may need to be maintained as does not appear to be water tight. 2 elastic bands, 1 glass pebble and a die were in the cache. Nothing added or removed by us. Thanks.
12/09/15. 10:57 AM. Cache #2983. Streak day #447.
1st of 7 this morning - Penshurst, Mortdale & Oatley.
I started off the morning with this puzzle, which SBMT had told me was quite an easy one to get. And what a beautiful Spring morning it was for a walk! From where I started, I was near the walking equipment without realising it, and walked the whole circuit clockwise, counting as I went. The further I went, I hadn't seen the walking equipment and I was a little worried that I'd missed it as I came close to completing my circuit, but at the last moment, there it was!
Off to the nearby tables for a bit of number crunching. Luckily, just as I was about to enter my first attempt into Evince, I saw the note about the addition of 1 (whew, if I'd missed that I would have been locked out for 10 minutes). As it was, the Evince page was taking too long to load anyway, so I started walking towards where I had calculated, finally getting my green light when I was about halfway there. Once at GZ, an easy find with no walkers too close while I grabbed it. The log was completely saturated, so I dried out the bag and added a new dry page, with the old wet log strips stuck to the back. I replaced it and then headed on to my next cache, "Stop At A Rock". TFTC.

A lovely afternoon walk around the grounds with Ali600, we didn't admire much of the many sports that were going on and had to remember to pay attention at times but it was simple enough to work out and we were lucky enough to park at the right end - across from GZ! Three possible locations for the hide and of course it was in the last of the three we checked... And here endeth my road trip!
#2040 (3 of 3 today)
Dropped my son off for work and decided to go south east for a few caches today. Five attempted, but only three found. The two DNFs were second attempts after previously DNFing them - I'm sure they see me coming and hide!
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Noticed this "simple" puzzle cache near my last find so thought "Why Not?"
Got the information easily enough - even spotted where the missing equipment had been installed.
Crunched the numbers. OK, that looks right, so didn't check with Evince.
On the way to GZ I stopped for a sausage, bacon & egg roll at the Kids Club BBQ. I can use eating as cover at GZ.
To be honest, though, cover wasn't necessary. A quick search turned up the cache in a logical spot as I watched the nearby game. Then found somewhere to sit to complete signing duties.
The log was damp, so dried it in the sun as I watched. Then signed and back for the nonchalant replace.
All good.

Seeing as we spend most Sunday's though winter here it was about time we got this one done. Footy geocache kids went on the hunt. Once they counted correctly we worked out the location. They returned with no luck. Send in the oldies. But then newbie geocache 7 found it. Brother 12 not far behind. Welcome new geocache family. We started something and they can't wait to find more. A nice easy find once the compass played nice. Looked in 2 wrong spots first and was hiding in the 3rd. Awesome 1st puzzle cache.
Log book was wet. Dried out the bag but noticed that there was a hole in it.

A great cache to do this morning whilst in the Penshurst area. There were quite a few people on the track and using the equipment. I had to wait about 20 mins for some muggles at GZ before making the find. TFTC smirkwood!
Did the walk then did the maths. Totally stuffed up on the maths and when I finally got it right was amused to find I was sitting 2 metres in front of the cache. Thanks for the cachercise.
Lots of muggles out today but we were still about the be stealthy. With ziggiau, aubeasty and MrSmash.
A lovely afternoon at the park! We got in a walk, did some exercise, calculated, and found it. (With the aforementioned comments about +1. Found with Mrsmash, ziggiau and dingoman007
Public holiday, daylight savings and brilliant weather meant there were muggles everywhere doing so many activities, the place was pumping. Collected data, calculated, and found successfully.
Despite the rain, it wasn't going to stop me from looking for this cache! I've never been to Olds Park before and it was a beautiful place. Surprisingly, I found the cache relatively quickly as I looked at each sneaky gap of the tree. Thanks for the cache! (First cache for my changed username"Ransulot" from "lanceywancy")
Nice, I've always enjoyed Olds Park. Pretty straightforward find though the comments helped regarding the number of exercise machines (+1) TFTC!
Found it with equipment pieces +1. Challenging hide because of GPS not able to make up its mind between 3 options, but eventually found it under the suspicious stare of a few school bus drivers. Cache returned stealthily!
Found it - with teenyntonka. TFTC. All good, and securely returned. Equipment counted plus 1. Cheers
Yay! Found it this time. On another trip to visit rellies near here, we thought we'd go to their favourite scootering park and try again. We did it with one less, and got the middle of the field, so went back to original coordinates for another big look. And geo-sis came up with the goods. We would have all looked there 3-4 times each (maybe 5/6 of us)! It was quite buried, and there was glass which is a bit off putting. But it was quite a relief to have it finally found.
An interesting cache puzzle. The most troubling clue was right under my nose the whole time!
My first visit gave me an obviously wrong place in the middle of a game.
The second time a more likely spot but no luck. My third time IN THE RAIN with no muggles about I still couldnt find it.
After contacting the CO for another clue (THANKS) I could finally cross it off my list.
Another fav point from me.

Probably the 4th time I've attempted this cache ! I blamed miscounting until I thought outside of the geo-box and found the original number of equipment in the park

Quite enjoyed this one- was a nice park, was a nice walk and a clever little cache hide.
Was able to trim off some of the lap to gain the answers then thankfully had pretty much not too far to go, having parked in the end in the best spot for a short walk. Took a minute but a nice little hidey hole. I enjoyed the hunt on this one. TFTC!

Brilliant, wish I could say more without giving it away. The coords was the easy part! Took a while to find after looking harder in a specific spot a second time (or third/fourth!)...
Geocache #7
2nd geocache for the day, was a awesome park to check out. It was alive with cricket games and people out enjoying the sun
Was a little hard to find but we did work it out after double checking the numbers and adding one.
But i was without a pen, so I will be back to sign it at a later date but I did snap a quick photo.

jr-6969, I'm really glad you enjoyed my cache so much! And good on you for trying multis and puzzles so early after starting caching. But umm... whoa, that is the old container... It's actually still there?! Freaky!
Kicked the ball around before having a check of the cache... Not sure about the missing equipment (I live a couple suburbs away) but happy to update the listing if anyone tells me the details...
It's still there! Happy hunting!
It's still there! Happy hunting!
In any case, multiplying by 75 should rule out most numbers anyway! Hope someone has success here again soon!
We had a lovely time at the park, and my geo-daughter got to practise her sprint for the State Athletics Championships, but no reward at the end with a Cache
Dispite one of the equipment pieces was missing (Geo-local family knew this), we counted it in, so we think we got to GZ. Past comments kind of backed this up. But it was either too sneaky for us, or we just plain missed it, in the end.

We had some DVDs to return to the library, so we grabbed a picnic lunch and made an excursion of it. Easy find once we established that we needed to count physical objects, not different kinds of exercise activity. The filtered water fountain is a great idea, especially as this was a pretty warm day for spring. (It must be spring -- the Aussie rules goalposts are gone and the wicket is uncovered.)
A quick check while at the park today to enjoy the better than expected weather... It's still there, come and find it!
What a cool cache. Great park easy find with a good walk. Puzzle was concise and calculations straight forward. Coords are spot on. Tftc easy find even with night athletics carnival on
Wow this place brings back memories over being forced to run this track in primary school! The place was packed today as there seemed to be a school event on but I had my gym clothes on so easily blended in with others getting a daily fitness dose. The equipment was all unused except the one which requires you to 'walk'... I would have looked a bit odd staring at the man using the apparatus trying to get the answer for 'y' but oh well... Figured out the coords, grabbed the kids who were with their grandparents playing at the park and scootered toward the cache location- thank goodness kids stop at stare at the most obscure things... Sadly I had no luck today... But having confirmed with the CO I was in the correct place I have a feeling I know where the cache may be as I didn't give a particular area as thorough as search as I should have... Will come back and try again soon! Thanks for the hunt and exercise
I usually need a bush cache to get a decent walk. After doing a circuit and a half I searched for a while as the GPS wasn't convinced whether it was here, there or in the other one. Found it very well concealed. Thanks smirkwood.
I like a cache after a walk!?! I am used to bush walks, but this was a nice suburban walk. A clever hide that took a while to find.

What a great sports area, pity that I had to walk so quickly in order to keep on my caching schedule!
I checked with a previous finder on one of the details and came up with 2 possible hides neither of which corresponded with his general description. Needless to say I was right!!!
The final hide was quite surprising for its audacity.
A very pleasant wander and caching experience.

I was heading down to Heathcote this weekend and saw this was a new mystery. I decide to give it a go. Parked and made a nice walk around the track building up my steps for the Global Corporate Challenge. Collected all the info and then back at the car did my calculations. Hmm, was a little confused, but then had a possible GZ. Walked over and searched for 20min before realising I would DNF it. I then emailed the CO and a previous finder to see if I was at the right spot.
I was, it turns out and the CO confirmed it had been muggled. Whew, it wasn't me . Today, I came back on the way home and stopped near GZ. Searched again, but this time I found the replacement cache. SL, and replaced. Ahh, cool little puzzle and good to finally complete a mystery before Team Canary for once...hehehe Thanks smirkwood, TFTC.

Thanks to alfyboy for letting me know but the cache had actually gotten muggled/went missing! I have since installed a new container in a slightly different spot. Please be stealthy at GZ and here's hoping this works better!
I was sitting at home feeling a little bored when I heard of a new cache in the area, so it was off to do a pleasant walk to gather the required information, do some quick calculations and off to the GZ where cache was soon in hand. Thanks Smirkwood for getting me out of the lounge chair for a bit of "cachercise" There was also the bonus of signing a blank log for FTF!
