Luckily this was a quick find with Mogni on a run over the border so she showed me this one. I didn't have this on my unit but she said stop- there's one just here!.... She actually found it on the ground and we realize there were DNF's (after) but she is a cache sniffer. The day was hot and the wind was dry and the cache was about where it was meant to be. Happy daze.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to sheltz1 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

We did the PAF who had found it previously and we feel that we can confirm that it is gone
A DNF from us today. Thanks anyway. Will try again when we are down this way another time.
After reading the previous logs we thought this cache was going to be a challenge but surprisingly we found it straight away. We are not sure if it was the correct position so we put it in a more logical spot where it wouldn't get stood on. Thanks sheltz1 for the cute hide.
Found 4/11/16 @ 2:14 PM.
Heading over towards Nelson for a couple of hours caching this arvo we thought we'd grab this one on the way past.
This cache was difficult. In fact I'd go as far as saying it was a pure fluke that we found it.
I've put it back exactly where I found it but I'm not sure it's where it's meant to be. May need checking by the CO to be sure.
Thanks sheltz1 for the fun.

Sneaky cache when I realized where it was! Great idea to hide a cache hrtr, thanks for my 250th cache sheltz1!
We came back for another look and Geowife found this after a bit more searching, found on the ground , so placed nearby. No snakes around today. TFTC
Quick find on the way to Portland Airport for work.
No problems in locating this one with the Airport Manager who now knows what the game is all about. She's happy for the cache to stay too

Stopped as we passed by to deal to this cache. T, shelz1, FTC, it helped make our day more interesting while exploring your district. Greetings from New Zealand.
Out for a drive with my brother and his two kids, who love treasure hunting with their aunt. Powered up an old GPS so we had one for each of them and a full day of exploring was ahead of us. The kids did very well spotting the treasure, and learning how to use a GPS and understand maps.
I have driven passed here numerous times when attending school camps at Cape Bridgewater, luckily today we got to stop. An impressive bird skeleton near cache.
Thanks for hiding one of the 15 cache hides we found today.

A quick find on our way through the area during a trip to Apollo Bay. It was all quiet here this morning, possibly a bit too early for any flights.
Thanks sheltz1.
Thanks sheltz1.
Found with Awegs, not sure if the coords were slightly out, but took us longer than it should have. TFTC
First find for today and seventh for the weekend. Excellent hide. Dead kanga still guarding as per previous post. Found during the one rain shower for the day.

Found by Mary & David at 1710. Finally arrived at Portland. The weather is so mild and we have enjoyed the sea views along the way. A short drive from our overnight accommodation and we were at GZ. Found the cache after a short search, but the guardian kangaroo a few metres away is very dead. Our thanks to sheltz1.
A tricky little fellow. Took me a few minutes.
Thanks sheltz1 - Good spot.

The cache name had me interested
So I headed for GZ to find out what it was all about.
Well the Airways bit was easily explained by the big blue letters on the fence
So what about the Arthropod bit ?
I wandered around to find the cache in hope of some enlightenment.
And at GZ, I got some enlightenment after a bit of poking in places where arthropods, both poisonous and harmless, might lurk [:o]
I found one of each !!
The harmless one guided me to the cache [^]
As for the other one ..... well watch where you stick your fingers people !!
Or you will find yourself on an unscheduled visit to the Portland hospital
TFTC in an interesting place !!

Spending a couple of days in Portland with SuperPop it was an ideal opportunity to pick up some more local caches. We headed out to this one and the way the wind was blowing a gale we didn't really expect to see much activity at the airport and unfortunately we were right as there was no movement at all. The cache took quite a bit longer than it should have to locate even though the GPSr was telling us where to search we decided to search harder in an area that we thought that it might be. Eventually the cache was located and our names added to the log.
Thanks sheltz1 for the cache.

While riding on the Great Victorian Bike Ride, 610 km in 9 days from Mt Gambier to Geelong , I found 45 caches in my spare time. This was the 11th. Found on 24 Nov.
This was one of the few I did not find for the day. My gps tried to send me into the centre of an enclosed area and try as I might from different angles could not do so without suspicion from the 5000 muggles on the Great Vic Bike Ride having lunch. Later found that the gps was out by 8 or so meters and could have made a diference - oh well, you win some, you loose some!
Today's lunch break was here at the airport but before munchtime, it was time for a cache. I ducked into the bushes, again , and quickly had the creepy cache in hand at 11:40 thanks to spot-on coordinates.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks sheltz1.
