DNF for us; tried the old co-ords and the newly suggested co-ords and no luck with either.
CO plz check on this cache or disable, so that others don't waste their time and petrol visiting this location.
The saga unfolds...
Around 45 minutes of searching, three pairs of eyes, using the updated coords (found the blue ball at wrong coords), and three PAFs plus pics later...
Nada
CO plz do a maintenance check.

This was the only cache left in south of the river for me to find and so I had to clear the map.
From where I parked I found a track across the creek past the rope swing and headed to the search area. I found a likely spot at GZ and uncovered a ball which I inspected to make sure it wasn't the cache. I read back through the previous logs and found that I would have to widen my search area. Still nothing to find where i searched so I looked back further and found previously posted coordinates which I put into the GPS and was directed to a spot which I hadn't searched before and found there were a number of convenient hiding spots. I found the cache in one of them.
I have reposted the coordinates that worked for me so that they appear further up the log list.
TFTC.

We've been here many times, mainly to do maintenance on my old cache that was eventually archived due to muggling. As mentioned previously, the co-ords are a bit out (12m according to our GPS) but if you take a look around the hiding place is quite obvious to the trained eye
Thanks for the cache Ninaolive.

Found this cache before doing some night orienteering in the same place. Was a difficult find but we eventually got it. Found with Jay Of GemJay.

Found this cache before orienteering began in the same park. As mentioned previously, it took a little longer than expected because the co-ordinates are about 1-2m off. Otherwise, all was good in the cache and contents. Found with Faust1806.

Found this one today but not after tramping around the co-ords without much luck. Previous logs tell the story. It's about 14 metres out at present.
In the end the prize was obtained - but only with a bit of experience as undertaken by previous finds.

After the nearby International Geocaching Day event at Murrarrie, I decided to grab a few caches that have sprung up since I was last over this way. Searched my GZ without success, so I read a few logs. Expanded the search and came up with the find. These coordinates worked for me today. Thanks for the cache, Ninaolive.

As part of a small group of geocachers, who were out locating some nearby caches today before the Geocaching event, we stopped and located this cache. The cache was located about 14 metres from the coords. All signed the log, and off on our way again. TFTC.
Out and about early this morning with teamdfl, and we met up with fasted 59, barbbowman, Gullivers Travels54 and OrionJ to grab a few caches in the area before the International Geocaching Day Event at Colmslie Beach Reserve. We knew the co-ords for this one were a little off, so expanded our search area rather quickly. barbbowman made the find. She and I both liked the container. TFTC, Ninaolive.
I was pleased to have junior Gunnie with me for this one as lingering near playgrounds is not ideal for a guy on his own... There was a mum and daughter in the playground and a couple of kids playing on the other side of the creek. With junior in tow, we were able to mosey around without looking suspicious. After following the GPS to the listed coords, I ended up in the middle of the grass and there were signs of geotrails on both sides of the open area... I decided the obvious location was a good place to start and spotted the container exposed in its lair... Hmm...
I sorted business out and tucked the cache back in the hidey hole and out of sight. As we were walking back to the car, Team_DNF was heading in. Oh dear, a single guy, just what I was talking about... I let him know the situation and what I had done. I hope he had a quick find and avoided any suspicion...
Cheers Ninaolive.

This morning there was a small group taking on a few cache in the area before the International Day of Geocaching event taking place not far away. The group was made up of barbbowman, fasted59, teamdfl, IolantheK, and Gullivers Travels 54.
The approach here was tempered with the knowledge of the coords being suitably off. Luckily the area does not have a lot of potential hiding spots really and the find was rather quick.

A post-event visit to this very pleasant little park. No signs of destruction from all the other visitors today which is good. The attached coords worked for me so TFTC.
Heading out with a friends to hunt before an International Geocaching Day event. The group - IolantheK, barbbowman, fasted59, OrionJ, Gulliverstravels54 and me - descended on the park for the hunt. From previous logs we knew we had a good area to search. We spread out and checked out some likely locations. With so many hunters the prize was located in not time at all. GZ was about 14m out for all of us too.
Certainly turned out to be a busy spot today
With our group in force, the cache was quickly located.

We arrived at the GZ and started to searched for ages in the wrong place!
Read the logs and decided to look around some other obvious locations and there it was.
Geo-kids were super excited.

The views from just up the road are quite spectacular.
I searched where GPSr indicated but the logs suggested elsewhere and that's where the cache was found.
