Gone again with the recent flooding.Treetops isn't returning either, so time for this one to go.
After a nearby DNF, nice to find it after sunset. Hidden from muggles in the dark.
I remember coming here when this place was new. I'm sad to see it closed now, tftc.

The nearby treetop adventure parked looked very abandoned. After picking up a clue for an AL I drove a bit further where this cache was quickly spotted.

Gosh, that's the biggest broad-leafed privet I've seen in a while. Fun and only slightly terrifying spot. Those cars fly past! Lucky the coords were spot on for a quick find. . Thanks team!
It's been 10 years since this was the newest around here. Quick find though. TFTC

Checked out the decoy first, then trusted instinct and went to the correct location.

Hawkesbury's Newest, well now its heading for 8 years old its not so new but in all that time I haven't been in this area.
I have done one of these Tree Top course though! Apparantly when a friend said her granddaughter wanted to do it I said I'd have liked to have done that when I was younger but she interpreted it as I wanted to be the adult accompanying the granddaughter. So I turned up and did the initial training bit, thinking I can't do this but I looked at the kid and then thought well I have to.
And now I know I'm not afraid of heights and am much stronger more adventurous than I thought! The flying fox rides at the tree tops were really fun.
So today I parked opposite GZ and walked over. There was that moment of I can't do this when I initially couldn't find the cache but using a stick I unearthed the cache deep below months of leaf mulch. Despite that the logbook was in good condition.

A quick find with Rama497 as we made our way out west to tackle more of The Road Less Travelled Series. Thanks.

Quick easy find. I’m sure the cars going by were curious about what we were doing! TNLN SL TFTC
Came to Windsor today to do the Lab adventure and then move on to Glenbrook to do another one. Really enjoy the labs lately, but of course can't resist if there is anything else that turns up along the way. Mostly quick found traditionals today.

Found on our way through from Richmond. Cheers
CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Streak day 62
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Ended up parking 100m further to the east to get somewhere off the road, just past the entrance to tree world. Found without any problems. TFTC
Sorry for a late log. Found it and this is for the streak days. Thank you for bringing me here

after driving straight past the superb fairy wren cache do to a distracting conversation with my muggle friend we did manage to stop in time here. parked in the handy carparks before walking back. it is a truly lovely day for caching today. we saw some wrens here, I love sitting and watching then going about their business when wandering the bush or camping.
the trees round here are loaded with clusters of round black berries, ive been reading about them recently but can't remember where or what they are which is annoying. tftc here

Found by Mary & David at 1515. Our grandchildren would love a tree park experience. A lovely bank of bougainvilleas opposite, in every shade possible. The cache has some guardian ants settling in around it, and they weren't too happy at being disturbed. Our thanks to WaywardWoman.
The boss was coming to Penrith today to visit a friend who had had minor surgery yesterday, so I decided to come with her and then go off and do a caching run from Yarramundi to Springwood. It's been years (indeed decades) since I've driven along Springwood/Hawkesbury Road so it was great to do it again and to see how much has changed over the years.
This was the second of 18 finds (mostly park & grabs ... no bush walks for me on a 40 degree day!) I made along the way and it was a pretty straightforward one. I was glad that I didn't have to dive into the mire to make the find but could still go about my business at GZ in privacy without fear of attracting the attention of passing muggles. Thanks WaywardWoman.

We are based in Richmond for a few days and what a wonderful choice of caches. Today we headed towards Springwood and surrounds and this was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to WaywardWoman for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
