We continued on after collecting the adventure lab and headed to this cache. OzHockeyChick had already found this one but I hadn’t so we set about searching for the cache.
It was found in pieces with parts of the cache strewn across the ground. We put all the pieces together in its hide and signed the soggy log.
This one definitely needs a CO visit.
Thanks Dean(o) for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Dean(o),
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Good cash long grass and bushy area beware of snakes and posinous bugs they can come out at anytime of the day or night and year
Well, I found it, but dismayed to report that it had been stomped on and the container thoroughly broke. The log book was there, but damp. Have re-hidden it, with lots of camouflage. TFTC!
This is my first geocache and it was definitely very satisfying to find! Thank you to the owner for placing the cache.
Fun cache! Bit tricky with so many houses nearby. Hopefully we weren’t spotted by any muggles. TFTC ️
With time for a cache before playing tennis at Macleod tonight, I stopped by here for a little walk and a cache. Sad to miss seeing the Camp Koral trackable.
Quite a few dog walkers around but it didn’t seem to matter as I sat on the log writing this. It’s just starting to rain so I hope that doesn’t impact my tennis match.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
That was easy but really fun. Took two treasures but left more behind Harvey says thank you! We also dropped a trackable!
Trying to reach the peak so to speak. A quick png in some inclement weather. TFTC!
New container and log. A few new goodies for the kids too.
Let the finding continue.

Grabbed this one as the turn around point of my 6km run. Really enjoyed the run through the green corridor where they are doing habitat restoration. The lorikeets were very loud. Nice quick find, tftc!
Great hiding spot, and treasures for a young kid. Notepad and toys are going moldy as water had leaked into the box.
Thanks! That was a little trickier than expected. Great for kids. Left a little swap:)
Found this one a bit later at night than I'd hoped but it was a nice quick one. GZ looked quite cool in the light of my phone torch!
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
It was out in the open which was a relief because it wasn't where i wanted it to be. Replaced where i thought it should have been with a little more cover.
Thanks Dean(o)

Second find on a day out with geoniece. Cache was exposed so we covered it up again. Took shell, left gem. Lovely peaceful spot, thanks for the family friendly cache!
A lovely tribute to Gresha in a wonderful piece of remnant bushland. From a nearby notice board I also learnt about the Stanley Park gum -- a rare, natural hybrid of River red gum and Swamp gum that is present in this reserve. Tftc.
Geokids Mr5 and Mr3 enjoyed this quick and easy cache with swaps! A pleasant Tuesday evening stroll out and about.
Electric scooters in the car with AL's thr target for Spiffy- and I plus a few other caches en route. And we milked every last drop of power out of the scooters with both flashing red when we finished.
A quickish find on our way around the park.
Thanks to Dean(o) for the placement and fun.

Found at 11:22 am.
Today we headed out to do a few Adventure Lab caches on the scooters and while we were there we would also look for whatever else we came across. It was a great afternoon out and about because the light rain stopped just when we started before lunch. We got a little too far from where we parked and I ended up having to manually push the scooter the last 1.5km back to the car because I didn't realise how much downhill riding we had done and misjudged the returning distance and had my first red battery light situation. I survived though so everything was ok.
A quick climb through the fence and our first real (non lab) cache for the day was found fairly quickly.
Thanks Dean(o) for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

*Found on the 29 Dec 2020 @ 1:56 pm.*
*Cache find # 11216.*
I was in the area to find another cache and seeing that this one wasn’t far away, I stopped for a look but my look took a lot longer than it should have, finally the cache was found, the log was stamped and cache was replaced where it was found.
**Thanks to Dean(o) for placing this cache.**

No plans for today so decided to cache with a muggle friend in an area of Melbourne that I don't know.
Love the story behind this cache.
Left bouncy ball and dinosaur, took nothing.

Rocked up and was expecting some sick treasure, never seen such useless items in my life. Disappointed is an understatement.
Abel(5) enjoyed finding the treasure, and it was his first time leading using a map.
Nice find! But the container is Brocken and needs to be replaced, and the pencil is missing.
Trying to find it I was blocked by a few no access signs but got there eventually
SUCH a gorgeous story! In these plague times & practising all kinds of infection control, we've temporarily taken the liberty of not signing the log. TFTC Dean(o), and god bless grannie.
I'd failed here last year and sympathised with Jacko83 by the end of it, but today maybe the placement was a bit friendlier - it didn't take long at all. I was again impressed by the commitment to native vegetation around LaTrobe. Thanks Deano for bringing me here.
