Looked hard, didn't find. Thoroughly searched playground and area around compass point.
No luck today, the muggles were running amuck and didn't get the chance for a real hard look. Ill definitely come back as I could just feel I was getting close.
Suscoe's 4thfind of 25 for today as we wandered about this area enjoying a cool but delightful day.
The morning started out sunny enough but as the day progressed the high level clouds started to move in from the north west.
What an amazing sight to see the entire Tonka Fleet out and about this morning, this is a great thing to see in a park, a friendly feel straight away.
No humans except us and so a quick look and the cache was spotted.
A nice effort here, thanks for the work.

Didn't find but will have another look, could you plz check if it is still there?
Checked to see if it was there. Unfortunately it has gone. We are going away for 2 weeks and will have to fix the cache after then.

Hi mkdl, I've tried to find this cache 3 times now with zero luck. I don't suppose you would be able to check it and see if it's still in situ? Thanks! Can't wait to find it.
This is the second time I've searched for this cache unsuccessfully. I don't know if the GPS on my phone is off, or if I'm walking right past it without realising.
After much searching and stopping for lunch we were almost ready to give up when DADDA doo made his first find. So much fun!
Easy find! Not sure about the tricks everywhere though! Thanks for hiding mate!! ¡¡
A cold, wet miserable day didn't deter a family with 3 kids here, they should know better, we were trying to cache how dare they be enjoying themselves, we had to go away then come back again to find it. TNLN TFTC
#2 find on a wintry afternoon. Tried to camouflage a bit better. No swaps taken log filled. Thankyou!
Yippee found it. Forgot pen so not logged, no swaps made. Nice one, made us think. Thanks
Walked into the park and less then a minute later had found it. Nice and easy cache.
Find #244
Found while on the way to monthly book club in Hampton. Nice easy one to park nearby. Had to search around a bit with the torch but got there in the end. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache mkdl.

I think I found the cache...well I found a container out in the open that was probably the cache once... Needs to be checked by CO I think. Thanks.
Took a bit of looking but there if was.
Nice park and sneaky hide.
Thanks for the challenge.

Out and about today with Dunko no real plans other than to have fun caching really enjoyed the time exploring the locations along the way. Many thanks to mkdl for the effort in placing the cache

Out and about and at large with Slink1. We had no plan and no direction other than to get out there and do a bit of caching. We went here and there and it felt like everywhere. TNLN TFTC SL
Find #1385. Found @ 22:45.
Last time I was in the area, this one was missing. I remember the toy trucks around the place, but at this time of night I couldn't really see anything.
The coordinates had me out in the open, but I soon zeroed in the hide.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache mkdl.

When we approached this park earlier today, there was no point in stopping as a party with lots of kids was in full swing. So we returned after dark for a quick and undisturbed find. Lots of toys left on the lawn?!? Found in the company of GJMMelb and quiet1_au. TFTC
Lochb, Quiet1_au and I set out this afternoon for an afternoon caching run down in Sandringham. Found as described by Quiet1 below. Quickly found with three of us looking. Thanks mkdl

After an earlier failed visit today - foiled by many muggles having a party in the park - we returned after dark on our way back home to make an easy find - TFTC
I found this cache today at 3:00pm as number 10 of 26 on our Right Around Southland afternoon. Now this was a strange turn of events. I was looking around the cache when a muggle made a beeline over to me and said, "if you are looking for a geocache, it's over there on that table", then left. I wandered over to the table and found a large, what looked like a peg tin about 30m from GZ. Inside was a geocaching stash note, a bottle of suntan lotion and a plastic coin. I took this back to GZ as something seemed to be not quite right and upon arrival, found the camoflaged 400ml Sistema. This had a log book a TB and a couple of trinkets. I put the stash note in the cache but then also put the other cache nearby, also hidden by the same plants but not very well. If the CO could drop over to check what has happened here, that would be probably wise. Note: also found the old cache Alanbee Amble in this park 3 years ago. Thanks from D B-A.
Hi, We have placed the container back into its spot and all is fine. Thanks Rabbitto for alerting us. Enjoy the cache.
Thanks,

I love this little park! We discovered it last year when looking for a Munzee. When we were first here it was the middle of the night, and the sight of all these toy trucks strewn across the park was kind of magical - I imagined them coming to life when no-one was around. Happy to see they are all still here - wonderful community spirit.
We quickly found the cache - love the different hide. Immemma took the big travel bug (which entertained us briefly in the car - oooooh flashing lights!).

i like the big tin container. i took the Handyman Harley TB and now have to find a cache big enough to accommodate it! love this Tonka Truck park.
Not too hard to find in deserted park with geodog. Now I'm stuck in the park sitting on a seat with said geodog, largish travel bug and log container and two muggles being disgustingly sporty right in front of GZ! Somehow geodog has to get us out of this! Poo bag time! Not taking bug
Having found this one before and knowing it's size I came back to drop off a big travel bug picked up on a recent caching excursion.
I liked the idea of this cache! At first when I found it I thought the information was wrong but then I looked inside and found that it was exactly as it should've been. TFTC
Needed to grab some dinner so headed out and did some caches at the same time.
Earlier in the evening I drove past but too many muggles meant I had to move on. Came back just before dark and made the find nice and easily. Took a trackable.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Well hidden, quality cache.
Took nothing left large ningaturtle thingy.
Thanks for showing me this nice park.

Once back online this one was surrounded by smileys on my map so I had to come and check it out. Great sight today as the families playing there had about a dozen tanka trucks all over the place. They were all conveniently facing the other way so once I spotted the natural camo I made a quick swoop in to grab the logbook and move away to sign. Timed the placement back well and replaced the natural camo so that it is hopefully safe from little muggles that may run around this park! Tftc mkdl
Finally I had a chance to get this one back up and running again. Cache is in a different container and will hopefully stay around for longer.

DNF @ 11:55 with skirrel.
Even with skirrel running interference, there were too many muggles in the park.
We looked for a few minutes before deciding to move on. We were starting to feel conspicuous.
Thanks anyway mkdl.

What a wonderful park, after finding the cache I stopped to talk to a lady at the sandpit.
I was very curious in why there were so many tonka trucks in the sand and only two kids.
She mention they are always there for the kids and over the years it's been getting bigger and bigger.
How cute [:x]

My sincere apologies to all cache owners for what I am about to do. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up with my logs for the past 5 months or so, meaning that it is becoming very impractical for everybody involved. Over the these last few months I have certainly found some fantastic caches showing off both the beautiful areas around the world, and the ingenious minds of cachers alike. I haven't had the greatast find rate over the past few months, but that is also due to the same reason I have fallen behind in my logs. I would like to thank all cache owners for their wonderful contribution to the caching community, and again I sincerely apologise for the generic logs.
Thanks for this cache mkdl

Found @ 5:05pm, find # 2648.
Last time I came by this one there were muggles closeby to GZ so I gave it a miss.
This time there was no muggle problem, so it was over to GZ and after a very short search the log was signed.
Thanks to mkdl for placing this this cache

Melbourne Cup holiday and what better way to spend it than popping out with my two boys to find a bunch of caches. We all had a great time and the boys especially loved trying to find each of the caches we went for today. We hit the Mentone - Sandringham area where there was a good concentration of caches and we had a great success of finds.
The neighbouring property had a full on cup day party going with all the kids playing in the park. Luckily I had my kids with me so we blended in quite nicely and we just made our way to GZ where I let the boys do the hunting while I 'played on the phone'. Soon thay had the cache and with some stealth we signed the log and rehid the cache.
Thanks for the hide.

It was great to have a hide located in our local park. StephanieK accompanied me with the intent of having a play on the equipment but with the rain slightly drizzling this evening we decided to only grab the cache instead. The upside was that the place was deserted and we quickly located the container.
Thanks to mkdl for the cache.

Found it! Went for a quick morning bike ride and found the cache pretty quickly. During the last attempt there were too many kids playing footy. TFTC
Found with geomum. After agreeing to bring the dog along we set off to go find this kind of new geocache.. At first had to look around blindly as my gps wasn't being kind to me. Finally the gps went to the cache spot on and I soon located it!! Forgot to bring a pen will come back another time to sign - very cool park, glad we can live in a community where people can leave big toy trucks in the sandpit without them getting stolen or vandalised

On what looked like a wet and cold night, Rebel Acts and I headed to some inner Melbourne caches that had popped up recently. While the rain did come, it didn't last and we had a great night out, in mild weather. Not my favourite hiding locations - playgrounds!! Thanks.
Found with Trailrunning, on what had been a rather wet and cold day, lucky for us it fined up enough to cache with out getting soaked, we did a few caches around the suburbs and inner city and a trip out to Eltham to have a second go at one we did not find on a previous visit. Thanks mkdl for the cache.
Found by The Empire @ 1:50pm
Find number 5 of 10 on a rainy day, caching around the Bayside area. Nobody to be seen on the wet playground! Thanks for the cache mkdl.

The cricket game spectators did't pay any attention so it was a quick find.

had a short search that was interrupted by some young girls chatting on the park. once they moved on it was s quick find
Out with Nut bear for another fun day of caching. This one was a little hard to find so we were lucky it was raining and had the place to ourselves. Perseverance finally paid off.
Thanks mkdl for the cache.

Nice little park that we have been to before in our caching runs. Nice quick find. Tftc Tnln sl
Find 910 at 22:28. Tonight I was out with Burge on a caching run to clear out all the newly published caches around Bayside... along with a couple of oldies that we haven't been able to cross of the list until now. All up we found 15 caches tonight in about 3 hours. This was cache number 5 on this run.
This was another park that we had been to before on the search for a prior cache that used to inhabit the area... I guess people aren't maintating them as well as they used to! We had to do a little searching around to find this one but it wasn't too difficult in the end. Thanks for the cache, mkdl!

It's nearly two years since the other cache in this park, Allambee Amble, was archived so it's good to see another one published here.
This one is more conventional but is well camouflaged and not easy to find, however the coordinates are very good which helped a lot.
I missed the notification when it was published as I was busy placing a cache of my own not too far away, but I had left my phone in the car.
By the time I noticed it, a Sisso sister had already struck so there was no hurry to find it.
This was lucky as my first approach was thwarted by a number of muggles, both adult and youngster sized who were present all over the park when I arrived, a hazard that goes with playground caches.
I returned just before dusk with light rain falling and found the park deserted so I was able to search without any issues. I found it after a few minutes of searching.
I was number two in the book.
Even though the park was deserted it was littered with large Tonka type trucks and other toys. A bit strange.
Thanks mkdl.
