No luck for me today. As this is supposed to be a quick find, I think after 3 dnfs this should be checked by cache owner.

It was supposed to be a quick stop but it didn't work out that way. I didn't find anything that looked like a cache so left with my tail between my legs. Next time for sure lol.

Quick find while staying in Bairnsdale.log book needs replacing.TFTC

Out and about with lagavullin3 today hunting a few caches, mostly for my benefit as we had found most of the ones we hunted today including this one. Parked right at GZ, which was deserted today and started the hunt. Saw something very quickly which turned out to be the cache, unfortunately the camo is starting to fail so the effect isn't as good as when new and shiny - could be worth an owner check. Anyway signed the log and returned, nicely done. Thanks kimmatmoo for this one.

Found cache on ground with log lying nearby. Signed log and returned cache and log to hopefully correct origin.

Went back today to find only to realise we HAD yesterday but didn't know it.

And it was quick too, although I suspect he was trying to make a break for it! I have seen this type of cache tried several times and this one is pretty good - very robust which is important. Thanks kimmatmoo for a good cache.

This was our 3rd cache find in a caching run of 5 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
Today we were visiting our friends who are building a house in the estate nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll down the path and the cache was soon in hand.
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 1m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.

Not what I was expecting, but a great hide! Thanks for bringing us here. Bairnsdale has some very well-kept public spaces.

I couldn't find this geocache, maybe I'll have better luck next time!

We spent the day in Bairnsdale today doing as many caches as we could before we headed off towards Sale. This was one of the caches we were able to find in conjunction with caching friends LazzaL. We had one very similar to this in WA until the whole jetty got demolished. Thanks to kimmatmoo.

Found it - my 10 year old son's first find. He was very excited.

I was in back in Bairnsdale today for work.

I had finished the job, I had a bite to eat and grab a cache I went looking for a couple more in then area whilst I still had 20 mins or so.

Only the greenskeeper checking out the centre of the ground was around today.
The co-ords were spot on. I spotted the cache straight away as I had seen this type of hide only once before. I quickly signed the log and I replaced it in its hiding spot.

# 3860. A good day spent caching around Paynesville and Bairnsdale with Robmc, by car, by foot and by bike. One of 18 finds for the day and at least one DNF.

Only the second time I have seen one of these caches. Very cute! TFTC

BettyBoo3747 and I drove down to Paynesville in the morning, stayed for lunch, then did a bit of a tour of Bairnsdale in the afternoon, finishing up on the bikes around town..
We had to chase, but we finally caught it!

Taking a break from inspecting prospective houses today, I found this one. Loved the container, Kim. Bentley TB loved the 'off leash' area and enjoyed a romp whilst I looked. Had to use my iPhone for this as I left the GPSr at home (wasn't thinking about caching) and found the co-ords spot on.

It was unseasonably warm, so my week up at Hotham did not involve skiing. I left early, visiting friends in Lakes Entrance and Metung, before heading back home to Melbourne. Doing some caching along the way, of course.

Loved the camo for this hide, but had to widen the search from where the GPSr put me.
