Another DNF for us today in this area. Still a great spot to have lunch. Thanks

Find #2665. Found @ 16:34 with skirrel, j-bean and The Good Lady Wife.
We're on a family holiday to the Apple Isle, the first visit since I began caching. We'd come for a drive up the East Tamar to Georgetown, and stopped for a few caches.
We went to the shop to get some supplies for dinner and noticed that this was fairly close by. A short walk later and I found the container in a fairly logical location. The log is quite moist, but I was able to make my mark.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

A nice easy find thankfully on a very very windy day
Many thanks choppersrule from the Wacky one

Didn't take too long. Couldn't sign as my pen went on the blink. But I can tell you there's a smiley, gambling chick in the cache TFTC. Nice spot.
Quick easy find after having fish and chips with the seagulls in the little park. TFTC This took some searching for! Thankfully evening is a good time to do this end of town, muggle free! Found and signed and then off to our next one TFTC This is a lovely area and we're enjoying our day's caching. Also looking forward to the event on Monday evening to meet and thank all the Tassie CO's who have added so much fun to our touring here TFTC
We've now only got four weeks left of our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

TFTC was about to abandon this one when took a last poke around and bingo there it was staring at me the whole time I was looking.
Only a few boats visible today, which is surprising because it is a lovely day to be out on the water. Easy find here because it wasn't hidden very well.
An enjoyable waterfront walk with the boys.
Found quickly just as people arrived nearby to eat.
Thanks!

After a DNF a year ago we thought we'd come back for another look, seems we were just a bit cache blind last time or we've picked up a bit of experience since. TFTC
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Headed out on a glorious day to visit Bell Bay and George Town.
The morning was indeed glorious but after lunch it was a bit windy but still sunny.
We managed to find your cache today. Parked the car and there was a muggle in another car nearby but thankfully the cache was well out of their line of sight.

We grabbed this one between showers on a very uninviting day.
Thanks choppersrule.
Thanks choppersrule.
Some local lads were out on the pontoon doing a bit of fishing. A quick and easy find on such a pleasant day.. thanks..!
Our first find in Georgetown. Staying at the hotel close by made it an easy wander to the cache. The kids enjoyed the low tide and searched for crabs while I searched for the cache. Found it quite quickly in good condition. Great spot but vert windy today. TFTC
No problem finding this one. The seal antics at the pontoon were a highlight of this visit. He was stealing fish off the fishing lines. TFTC!
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
A few muggles walking their dogs on the beach. Dogs were more interested in what we were doing than the owners. Cache didn't take long to locate.
Thanks for the fun choppersrule!

On our today's geocaching tour we made also a stop at this place. We could find the cache without any problems. Thank for having hidden it.
After a very tasty lunch at The Pier hotel we wandered across the park to this cache and enjoyed the view of the harbour and its boats after quickly spotting the cache. Left my pathtag and then scurried back to the car to escape the drizzle and the wind.
Thanks for the cache choppersrule.

Quick find under its rock and left a smiley. Cleaned up the pile of nearby beer cans.
Found with Hearse068, Zobo04 and Hearse068's geo child. It was a quick trip to tassie to do some sight seeing and geocaching. We had a great time in the 3 days that we had here. Started in Launceston made it to Swansee up to Bicheno, St Helens, Pyenganna, Bridport, George Town and back to Launceston. We found 50 odd caches in our time here and this was one of them. Hearse068 made the find here plenty of boats around today. TFTC
Found with Gonefishen07, Zobo04 and my geo son on a quick trip to Tassie to do some sight seeing and some caching. Lots of boats today I think it was a bit windy to be out fishing. I made the quick find. SL TFTC
Found with Gonefishen07, Hears068 and my cuz. We came to tassie for a quick trip. Sightseeing and caching on the menu. We had a great time while here and will hopefully be back soon. Thanks to those that placed caches to make our holiday fun. TFTC

This was a good place to stop to eat some yum local lunch that we picked up. It was a bit windy and no muggles about so this cache was a quick find for me. I placed a rock on top as it was a little exposed to mggle eyes. Stamped and replaced.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week trip around beautiful Tasmania soaking up the sights after visiting here almost 8 years ago. This time the little Na'wals are with us and some caching is to be done. We had a wonderful time time even the the terrible weather that we uncounted most of the time here.

Had a good look but the area was overgrown and we thought it might have been lost, am wondering if we might have found it if we'd presisted.
