After a nice night camping nearby with the gang, we went for a stroll around here to grab a cache or two and this one was the last one near the camp.We negotiated the bush OK and soon enough was at GZ where a short search uncovered the nice ammo can. We were very surprised to see that it hasnt been found in 18 months considering how close it is to the camp and all the other ones around here are regularly found, so we signed our lives away in the log book and took all the unloved. Then we found a much easier way back to the campsite.
I could wander around here for ever I reckon. A few Kangaroos poking about. Birds singing. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
Early morning walk after a blissful night sleep at Wenhams camp ground again i had this part of the Warby's to myself. Followed the kanga trails in while a few skippy's anoyed with my presence hopped away. Cache located and signed.
A trip from Canberra, ACT to Whittlesea, Vic with a few side quests for LGAs. TFTC.
The ground is very mushy. Found a campground up here. Might stay the night.

We are camped at Wenhams Camp catching our breath after the mega event in Wangaratta. Hubby is the walker in our family and he headed off for an early morning jaunt before the temperature became a bit to much. An interesting camp here, on our first day we were joined by a cacher who left the next morning just staying for the overnight stop and today we had another geocacher arrive. It is certainly a popular place to spend a few days with the geocaching community. SL TFTC
After camping overnight at Wenhams Camp the fit Triton got up for a very early sunrise caching experience to enjoy the walking tracks of the Warby’s. Many wombat holes and kangaroos were spotted as he left the path and made his way to find this great container.
Thanks TrewBlue for the placement.

I deviated from the circuit of the WCT trail of caches to find this old Ammo box.
Lovely area you have chosen here and all good with the cache.

We are out today walking in the Warbys. Short walk in the bush and it was soon found. Saw the local scouts out walking and camping for the night at base too. Such a lovely day, we tried to avoid the wind as much as we could. TFTC
Took me a while I could not remember where we hid this thing but got there in the end, so good to be back.
Heading back to the car after walking the Salisbury Falls track and thought we we would get this one. TFTC.
With the remote learning done nice and early we headed up to the Warbies for our lockdown bushwalk.
Coming in from Whenams camp we didn't realise how swampy the far side was from the recent rains and got wet shoes. The cache is still in great condition and well hidden. Thanks

I got dragged along to the Warby's by a big fan of the place who wanted some unloved love and a multi. I'm the one that had other plans. Well it helps if you haven't found any in the area so it made it easy to get a few smiley's. Was great to walk out to this one.
Thanks for some great caches making this a great day out.

A much needed break from work was taken to enjoy some of the amazing areas up and around the Warby Ovens National Park. I was able to cache with DAB for a couple of days before I stuck around to camp with the family and enjoy some bush relaxation. The weather was good to us for most of the time with a little rain at times. With so many caches on our list, it was just a matter of picking a few with more to collect another time.
A nice walk through the field and bushland from the campground to find this one. It took a short while to zero in on the hide. Nice to find this sort of hide in the bush.
**Thanks to TrewBlue for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy**

I thought i logged this one as i sat admiring the place i was in... seems to have gone wrong somehow... any way, a quick and easy find, lucky you for growing up with this as a backyard
Out on a caching trip with dalerious who had previously found this cache so he let me scrounge around to find it. After locating the cache I signed the log and then we headed off into the bush for more caches. Lovely area! TFTC!
Get out of jail card applied today, two weeks off from the farm. Mini tour from Porepunkah to The Grampians and back catching some caches on the way.
Today we are camped in Warby National Park, great way to start our escape. After setting up the caravan we wandered over to this cache. Easy find amongst the rocks. Left behind a TB that has been in the Ovens Valley way too long.
Thanks TrewBlue. Fave point heading your way...

An easy find out back of the campground.

The damn caravaner who runs a bl@@dy generator all day long
I could hear the damn thing from GZ

Camping in the Warbys on the first night of our holidays. I attacked this one at night under one of the brightest moonlit nights I'd ever seen. Hardly needed the torch at all. Plenty of kangaroos kept me company. This was our first time here, and we loved it. Cache was found quickly. Another great place that caching has produced.
Thanks **TrewBlue**

Into Wang to drop a car off for service had us with some time to spend. We did a few new caches and some short walks in the Warbys. A nice day for it.
It certainly wasn't a dry park today - nice and green.
We parked at the picnic area and strolled over to GZ.
Great sized cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12460. Today had to take Sylvie Subaru to Wangaratta following a recall notice for dodgy airbags. It was good to see a couple of new Team BGF caches appear on the radar last night so we loaded them into the GPS along with some in the Warbies and off we went for a cache hunt after the car was dropped off. A fabulously sunny day with snow views from many places on our travels.
After a long walk and return from the previous find it was good to see that this walk wasn't quite so long. It was a pleasant stroll across the "meadow" to GZ and it didn't take too long to find the good-sized container. I left a pack of my small origami envelopes and one of my Phyne - Rose pathtags.
Thanks TrewBlue

While staying in the lovely Glenrowan Tourist Park nearby we headed into the Warby-Ovens National Park to see the sights and maybe grab a few caches.
Wow!! What a delight to find a pathtag 'in the wild'. We grabbed it and replaced it with one of our own and also picked up the trackable to move it along.
Many thanks for the hide TrewBlue[^]

#2582 Enjoying a morning stroll in the Warbys with Harrowang on a nice cool day. We are slowing getting through all the hides up in these parts and this was another nice hide. We took a pt and left a pt and the Crickey GC who wants to visit remote places. This is relatively remote for this part of the world . We also filled another blank in our calendar. Happy days! TFTC TrewBlue, cache including logbook in excellent order.
With the afternoon looking fine I took an opportunity to head into the Warby's again to do some more exploring. I had a few caches in mind for the area I was going to as well. A great day out was had!
A quick find at GZ after a wet boggy walk across the meadow from Wenhams camp car park.

After a shortish ride to the lookout and back I took the opportunity to pedal to this one whilst I was still on the bike.
Hard to imagine why anyone would think this place would be any good for pastoral purposes given the surrounding terrain, just goes to show how far some people are willing to go to try and make things work I guess.
If nothing else, it makes a great camp spot which I had utilised the night before.
Great to see some old fencing relics are still here, at least it is some evidence of what the place was.
Found the cache without trouble.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

Today I'm on an adventure mountain biking - bushwalking and caching.. I can't imagine anything much better..
Had to dump the bike on the road a few hundred meters away, and crossed over the hill to find the cache all in good Nic.
Thanks for the adventure here today.
Cheers Gordo

Enjoying a few days in the Warby Ranges and loving the good dirt roads. Investigating this picnic spot l noticed the gps indicated a cache close by. Had a gentle wander towards it watching for basking snakes. No snakes to be seen but l was zeroing in on the cache because my 2 gps devices were synching well. A careful search produced the ammo box, l love them, and l was happy to find a good cache. See what you mean about the camping, must have been fun in former times. Tempted to put more caches at this lovely spot? Thanks.
A beautiful day to be wandering the Warbys ...was heaps of muggles at the campsite today and left them all wondering as Shadow 67 and myself headed off across the paddock. A great hiding spot only the kangaroos were not happy about being disturbed. Shadow 67 stumbled across this cache and log was signed and threw in some trinkets. TFTC TrewBlue
went up to the warbys after work to do a reckie for a future bushwalk. grabbed a couple of caches along the way. enjoyed the stroll out to this one. tftc TrewBlue, tnln. by the way, i saw a Coluricincla harmonica just as i was leaving this hide.
Got. Nice area. Great for long walks. Walked up from the falls, to the lookout, to the campground, wombats, and back down. TFTC
Nice cache to find in a cold June day. Followed by BBQ lunch with a fire to warm up! Great spot. Thanks!
Our last cache found as the sun was setting after a lovely evening stroll through the bush, picking up a few smileys with my new Christmas pressie, a Magellan handheld GPS. There were hundreds of Kangaroos out in the clearing feeding, we even saw a few with joey's in the pouch. I remember coming to this spot a lot as a child to go for bushwalks and to watch the wildlife. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me back to this spot.
Found with geokids after a short but pleasant walk from the campsite. Always love finding a decent size ammo box. Tftc
Traveled back to the Warbys for the weekend for Mum's birthday and I decided to take the muggle parents for a walk and grab a few caches. Dad grew up in this area and I remember camping back here when I was a little tacker.. Love finding these cache containers. TFTC.
Today we came to the Warbys to clean up a few caches, take photos of the birds and wildflowers and anything else that takes our interest. A fantastic day was had and we just loved the placing of this cache as we have found another great picnic/camping ground. Cat was off photographing the birds and I was off getting the cache. Second large cache today and got another after this one ... Good to see them still going out. TFTC
Haven,t done a lot of caching lately but with such a lovely day I thought I'd get out and grab a couple. Nice spot and nice to find a large cache too.
Rather cold and grey day for a walk up here, but Thornbill and I enjoyed wandering round. An easy find which we tried to cover up a bit more. Took GC and left a pencil! TFTC
We decided that it was too nice a day to stay home so we headed down to the Warby's to do someone exploring and to grab some caches along the way. We decided to do the friends walk and grab this one at the end. We made our way to GZ and found the area quite wet in places but all good we both had waterproof hikers on. This is a pretty cool spot and might have to come back another time and camp over night. The stars here would be amazing on a clear night. With spot on co-ords it didn't take long to find the cache in its hiding spot.
Thanks TrewBlue for bringing us to this great spot in the Warby's, we enjoyed our walk around as well. Highly recommended.

After finding another cache back down the road we decided to have some lunch at Wenhams Camp and then check up on any nearby caches and this one was just over there a bit, so off half of us went. We crossed throught some wet ground to get to GZ but with no problem. It wasn't long before our caching buddies Poa4 uncovered the hide. A Geocoin was spotted inside but we didn't take down any of the details. Thanks for the hide.
Really enjoy this part of the Warbys, have camped here before. Enjoyed the Microlaena meadow. Had to race Bulletproof4 through the bog to the cache!

GeoPa had reason to be wandering in the Warby's this afternoon and was able to do a detour to find this new cache as well. SL at 3pm Took: Australian Dream TB Left: NZ 50c coin. TFTC and an easy find in one of our favourite parts of this Range near our home TrewBlue. #1634
Ok saw this one come through and thought to myself mvyrmnd is on holidays he will snake this one straight away and i couldnt get away at that point in time as i had half a floor troweled out with glue and hour went by i was just laying the last tile and i thought i would sneak out and bang mvyrmnd rang me and offered me a ride upto the cache. So he picked me up and i soon found a couple of geokids of his in the back seat!! A short trip later we were close a short walk and some piggy backs to and from gz( mvyrmnd wouldnt give me one tho) and we were done !!

Whilst enjoying a camping trip with my geo brother (trewblue), geo sister and a heap of nieces, nephews, sons, daughters, cousins etc. I was lucky to assist in setting up this wonderful new cache. To help get it started I was fortunate to be able to leave a travel bug recently retrieved from the picturesque Murray River. Any one who goes to this cache will enjoy it.

FTF! Woo hoo!
I've had the week off work, do I was hoping for a FTF chance - and it was delivered.
When the email came though, I had one geobairn asleep, so had to sit it out for half an hour until he woke up. Once we were ready to go, I quickly called tattboy, who answered the phone "I was wondering when you'd call!". I picked him up, and we shot out to Wenhams Camp for the find.
Big Geobairn (3) loved the walk over the clearing, but by the end was reporting that he was "Running out of energy", and little Geobairn decided he was going to be carried the whole way.
The find was made easy by the bang-on co-ords, and the log was signed at 14:22.
After dropping tattboy off, we headed home for a well-earned snack.
