We think we found where this cache was meant to be placed, however we were only able to find the remnants of the log. Beautiful location though!!!
Hi! We think this cache has been damaged as we could not find the container, only the soggy parts of the logbook. Brilliant location though and we are so glad there is a cache near the campsite
Camping here overnight with Deefa71, completing the POW series was one of our aims. Thank you for bringing us to a location I had been totally unaware of until now. Fascinating history and a beautiful location. This was one of the OG caches in the area we found. TFTC
After spending a couple of nights in Dwellingup and volunteering on the train i set off to complete the caches in Marrinup. This was a quick easy find. Thanks for the cache shayne'o
Fun experience in the bush tracks while packing up I wen and quickly got this cache
Out and about again, a weekend getaway camping at Marrinup Townsite - even though it’s disappeared. After setting up camp wandered the 100m to the cache and marched straight up to and made a quick find.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Out for a few days camping with Kyzabra, Granett, and AlliedOz.
There are no big plans aside a few labs and a couple of trads in this neck of the woods, oh and plenty of hanging out and shooting the shit by a campfire with a few drinks and nothing else to worry about.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache shayne'o you help make the game what it is today, cheers

Great find thanks. Camping in the area and looking for some caches while we explore
Camping at Marrinup for a couple of nights with AlliedOz, TheJokersOz & Kyzabra to shoot the breeze and tell a few tall tales. Glad the rain stayed away for the most part.
After setting up we wandered over to grab the smiley on this one.
shayne'o I found your cache at 5:18pm, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7835. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Today TaurusSix and I wanted to combine a good bush walk into our geocaching activity. We looked at the map and honed in on this area just outside Dwellingup. We had noted this series when it came out a few months ago and had been keeping our eye on it . Today it certainly fit the bill to meet our dual requirements. Having read up on the area we were really keen for our days adventure. The weather was quite decent so made for an enjoyable day all round. We came up from Bunbury at a reasonable time via Pinjarra onto Marrinup. In the early stages there were a few muggles around, a combination of motor bikers, mountain bikers and campers as we got nearer to the POW Camp and then the walk though we had it pretty much to ourselves which was lovely. This area is fascinating the history and the natural bush, along with the well maintained infrastructure all added to the enjoyment. It is another good example that if it was not for geocaching we probably would never have known about this place.
This was our third cache find of the day. We had left our car near the rail crossing and walked into camp site. We were mindful not to disturb the campers . Another clever hide which we were able to log and replace before a couple of mountain bikers came past. TFTC shayne’o

A Sunday drive with a couple of the tribe while the others were home sick.
Always enjoy getting out this way and took a few minutes to enjoy the area before making a quick find.
Thanks shayne'o for placing Marrinup Mountain Bike Trail - 1 for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 14:48 on 11/9/2022.
This is find number 5684 for me.

Found this one while out exploring the area. Thanks for a good cache in a lovely location.
We did not realise that there was so much mountain bike riding around Dwellingup. Near GZ there was a group of riders enjoying a post-ride morning tea. This cache is a very clever hide, and was spotted by Muggle Husband.
Easter Monday caching with Cirrus_WA, grabbing a few around Pinjarra, Waroona and Myalup. I also placed a few of my new path tags out.
This is my 1806 find.
Thank you shayne'o for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)

This lovely campsite was pretty full, being Easter but probably room for a few more. TFTC it's in excellent condition
Found at night, went looking with my lamp, looked around the tree and there it was. Interesting container. TFTC
Having escaped lockdown in Sydney due to a requirement to work, I left Darwin for a nine-day holiday in Broome, then headed down to Perth for ten days. During my time in Perth, I spent three days in Dwellingup and surrounds. It was a glorious part of the world, and reminded me a bit of country Victoria, so it felt like home.
Pilgrimer and I decided to do a bit of hiking in the local area, and the three geocaches here were the perfect excuse. Thank you for bringing us to these lovely tracks, shayne'o!

Well.... Made a big mess of getting to this one lol. Ended up bush bashing a fair way just to get to the trail. But found cache safe and well. TFTC
Out on an adventure with Barnzy12, taking the Captiva on one last potential outing before handing it back in. TFTH
Headed out today with Cravo10 to Lane Pool Reserve and the Nanga Brook area to complete some caches that we have wanted to get for a long period of time.
Great day out in the bush, finding several caches which hadn’t been done since 2018 was a great thrill.
Put the car through its paces and it came out in good shape.
Thanks to the COs for their caches we had a great day.

Out for a night camping at Marrinup Campsite, one of our fave spots with the dawgs. This is an awesome free campsite with good walks, cycles, waterfall and a very interesting POW Camp within walking distance! TFTC!
Found it. Looked in GZ when I first got there and missed it but after a quick scout around found it on the second look. TFTC
I didnt find the coordinates too bad I found the cache 4m from the gz. Another nice free camping spot.
I was out in region today. The oldest and youngest Geo kids have got themselves Mountain bikes so while they tested out around the tracks nearby, I decided to grab some of the surrounding caches.
This was were we parked so I made the short walk up and a quick find.

Out with W.A.Team for a Sunday lunch at the Blue Wren & to collect some caches so this was a good place to start. Cache was in the bush on the opposite side of the road from GZ. Signed in and replaced at GZ0. TFTC
This looks like a great free camping area. We will be back to do that at some stage.
Thanks for showing us a new place to go.
