This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 45 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I think this has been taken. We had a good look and then referenced the photos and were in the exact spot but it wasn't there.
Looked for ages. Not successful ️ So much shrubbery and green ants...looked around the tree...
Not today, it looks big from the photos, cant believe we couldn’t get it. Oh well another day
What a beautiful spot! Had to wait a couple of minutes for a family to finish up lunch, but then we were the only ones here and free to search. Cache was an instant find then. TFTC
On our drive to the Daintree River we passed by here. Luckily I had saved some up here on my mobile as my Pocket Query mysteriously ended in Port Douglas.
Wonga was the first destination, when driving back down and after quite a while, this one was found, although both trackables are obviously missing.

Last full day on Australian soil. We take this opportunity to go to Cape Tribulations. If a little fine rain wet the car for five minutes, then we had heat and sun. Some caches will be made on our course. Thanks to all the installers for the work done. hello from France **********************************

Found on the way back from Daintree. Looking for somewhere to eat!!! Nice easy find but no TBs. TFTC
I rolled into this Wonga place today to try and find me a cache
But as usual in a spot like this,
at lunchtime,
there were muggles a lot [:o]
Lucky for me the picinic muggles upped and left [:o]
That never happens !! [:P}
So I made hay while the sun shone,
and quickly found this cache
Just in time too,
as the inevitable Grey Gomad rolled up !!

We stopped here on our way south towards Cairns for a look at the beach and a cache.
No trouble finding the cache. Beautiful spot.
Thanks heaps TropoBirdo.

Staying in Port Douglas for a few days. Headed up to Cape Tribulation today. Located five caches during the course of the day. Found this one reasonably quickly. Had to be a little stealthy due to the family enjoying themselves at the adjacent playground. #2642. TFTC.
Greetings from Wellington, NZ.
Greetings from Wellington, NZ.
I had heard of this beautiful spot. I have a feeling my cousins daughter lives here. We were heading for the Daintree so I had to make a stop on the way. Lovely.
Quick find with thanks. What a lovely park. Wind is howling today so a nice walk along the beach is out of the question. TFTC
Fun cache to find... On a trip up this way to do a bit of fishing & the floods... Thanks
This geocache is in some bushes near the park so people might get suspicious as to why you are searching in the bushes. Although, It normally isn’t too busy. It is in a pretty hidden spot so you might have to move some things around to find it.
Found this one on a glorious day of caching and sightseeing! The temperature was in the 30s in a mostly cloudy (and a little bit rainy) day. Perfect for this time of year!Today we were headed up to Cape Tribulation, some of the beaches near Cape Trib, and Daintree National Park.We arrived at the Daintree Ferry around 10:00 and looked for crocs here before crossing the Daintree River on the ferry and heading north. We concentrated looking for crocs in this area between the Daintree River and the National Park, but ultimately we weren't able to see any.The rainforest here seems to be much thicker than the rainforest on the Tablelands, which is much more open in the understory. One of the highlights of this part of the trip was seeing a young dingo next to the road.We continued north to Point Deception, then turned around and headed back to Noah Beach. Here we found a Sand Goanna basking on a palm tree, and a sea turtle skeleton that was washing up on the beach. At this point, rain was misting on the beach, and it was to continue for the remainder of the day. We ate a late lunch at a beachside cafe, then continued back to the south. We stopped in the Jindalba portion of Daintree National Park and walked the very nice boardwalk they had through the rainforest. It was well constructed and had several trees growing up through it. The rainforest was beautiful in this area and several features (streams, water cycle, King Palms) were highlighted. For me, the highlight of the walk was the palm-sized Golden Orb-weaving Spider that had a web right over the trail. This was a beautiful spider, 6 long and sitting head down in the middle of a huge web. We continued south after completing our walk at Jindalba, seeing a flash of a Cassowary as it ran across the road. There were many Cassowary Crossing signs along the road through Daintree National Park, and it was nice to see one cross, even though it didnt stick around. We crossed the Daintree River on the ferry, stopped in Mossman at a grocery, then continued south through Mareeba. As we got close to Atherton at 19:00, we passed a section of highway where the Spectacled Fruit Bats roosted over the road in a small remnant rainforest patch, and the bats were leaving their roost for the evening to go feeding. It was a magical sight, seeing hundreds of large fruit bats, flying south in a cloud over the countryside. We followed a group of them through Atherton and lost them as we continued south. Its amazing to think that this happens every night! We finished for the day back to the house by 20:00.Made the find here, then continued on for more fun. Thanks for the cache!
Our second find in the Port Douglas area. A beautiful day sprinkled with the odd shower.
My first find. Visiting my bro and sis who live at Wonga. I'm from South Pambula, Far South Coast NSW. Thank you.
My first find on the Cycle Queensland 2018 Adventure Tour. This find near didn't happen. For some reason I turned on the GPS and when it had fired up it showed a cache several hundred metres off and getting further away. Little did I know we would be stopping in this park on our way to Pt Douglas from Daintree.
Thanks for the cache TropoBirdo.
Thanks for the cache TropoBirdo.
Stopped here for morning tea on our northern travels, and found a cache. No longer a regular I would say, but a cache none the less. Added our name to the log, and replaced as found. TFTC, TropoBirdo
This was my only cache stop for the day after a drive up to Cape Tribulation. The presence of muggles were a concern when I arrived but I soon realised the cache was in a sensibly chosen location and I soon discovered the treasure. Greetings from Upper Hutt, New Zealand.
On our way up to Cape Tribulation for a couple of nights. This beach gave us a good taster of what was to come! There were a couple of people using the picnic table near the hide, so we sat on the beach to eat our picnic lunch and were pleased to find the picnic table vacated by the time we’d finished. A quick and easy find after that. We picked up the Holiday Ammo Can Tag to move on. SL. TFTC.
Nice spot.
Decided not to take the travel bug as it's already been to NZ and that's where I'm headed next.

Found on our way back from daintree river cruise. Kids enjoyed the park close by. TFTC.
Touring around the area from WA, found this one on our way. Stopped and talked to some lovely French people who saw us, maybe some new geocachers. TFTH
Just returning on a nostalgic visit. We worked at the caravan park for a couple of weeks about 10 years ago as itinerants working our way around the country. cache found in good condition - thanks.
On our way to the Daintree when we decided to stop off and find a few caches along the way. We thought we were muggled but then one said ‘you’re almost there!’ So all was good. Found by the geokid. Tftc!
A quick grab on the way back from the daintree. Tried to get it this morning but to many people around. Grabbed a travel bug.
Just had an amazing stay at Daintree village including Bloomfield track and a quick trip to Cooktown ..glad to drop a tb from down south
Quick park and grab while having a break on our way up to Cape Tribulation. TFTH
Found in tact and in good condition, close to picnic grounds. Need to be slightly tactical as muggles are nearby
Found with Cybercat and Mogasman! Wait a minute, we ARE Cybercat and Mogasman! tftc!
What are the odds.......we had spearfishing school and lunch right here! I didn't have any geocaches on my radar today, but when our tour stopped at such a nice place for lunch, I turned on my gps, and Bingo! tftc!
We searched for a while and no succeed so we decided to put a new container with a new logbook. If the CO is not happy he can take it off. The beach is beautiful TFTC
If it’s still here it’s hidden really well. No joy finding this one today, will have to come back and try again.
I used to live here 30 odd years ago, and it was just awesome to return today. TFTC
On holiday from Melbourne and staying in Port Douglas. This day my wife and I drove up to spend some time at Daintree. This cache made my day. I was searching around among the ferns for a while when a workman who was having tea at the nearby picnic table called out “it over here mate”. Sure enough, it was. Thanks for the cache.
... with our trip we've finaly fullfilled the surrounding of australia (ok, we took a shortcut: the topend of york peninsular is missing). it's still a fascinating continent and we're sure, that we'll return one day to cross the country from brisbane to perth.
some of the caches seems to be droped by other tourists in the landscape ... lots of DNFs, maybe because of the lack of maintainance. probably there aren't too many australien cachers in the outback? dear owners, hopefully you'll tolerate our standard-log. thanks for the caches and greetings from good old germany.

On a great tour from Cairns to Brisbane we started to discover this area. Cairns - Cape Tribulation is a classic route and your cache happened to be there.
With lots of TB's with me, coming from Europe, I left 4 of them and took 2 with me, back to Holland later on.

Quick stop during our trip in this part of AUS - for us the northernmost part... Thanks a lot!

We pulled in for a play and a cache on our way north after spending the afternoon at Mossman Gorge. Lots of fun on the funny seesaw thing. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, TropoBirdo.
After we came from Daintree National Park we realised we still had to make a cache. This one seemed to be a good drive in so we had a look. We spotted the hide quickly but we had to wait for the playground muggle. After that we could sign the logbook.
Thanks for showing. Tftc

Great to find this cache on the way to Daintree. Thank you for this welcoming cache, only my second in beautiful (but hot... is it meant to be winter?!) Queensland before continuing our Oz adventure into Sydney. An easy find here... just what was needed today. A glorious day to be exploring the rainforest... thank you.
Thankfully no slithering friends guarding the cache location as we head to the Tablelands. Left one TB, collected two others.
Thanks for the first cache in Wonga Beach. You may need to update with fresh log. Cheers
Found whilst on holiday we are from SA. Left trackable no pen with us so didnt sign log. Lovely view of the beach
