I found a mint metal container that was squashed. I think someone has tampered this one.
I think this one is gone? Had a look at past photos and did another search but couldn't find it!
Unfortunately not found... friendly local muggle spotted us searching around and came to help but is not there anymore.
Couldn't find it at the gps location...we are hoping muggles haven't got it! Will try again.
Second find for the day.
Finally spotted it.
Camouflage is wearing off.
DS happy with the swap.

We are having a couple of night at Boyd's Bay caravan park before heading home.
This was an area we had not been to before so it was a very nice scenic drive, geocaching as we went.
Visited some great locations & found some interesting caches.
Thanks for placing this cache Ozziehopper

On a morning walk with LHE Duo, and this was the next up, as it turns out when we arrived at the spot Mrs LHE Duo mentioned this looked familiar, turns out that they have found it before. So Just got my name added to the log and soon enough on the way to find something to eat for breakfast.

Out and about in town today.
I needed a quick find for my daily cache.
3 weeks short of finding a cache a day for 1 year straight.

Lets see...green leaves, head-height...green..head..AH! These things do grow, don't they!
The green leaves are a fair bit above head-height now, but it made the find a fun one to work out. TFTC.

Great little hide! Took a thong key ring and left an red Variety club superball.
Great little find. Clever hiding but still nice and easy. Need pencil sharpener or your own pen next time thanks!
Nice quick find before stopping for lunch, good sized container to leave a trackable so we left one little guy to send on his travels. TFTC
Out and about with Opa-Bob this morning, while holidaying in the area. This seemed like a very straightforward cache, and it was - we found a spot to park near to an entrance to the reserve, and wandered in - as we rounded the bend we spotted the trees and decided the GPS wasn't needed, so pocketed the devices. As we got a little closer (still probably 15-20m away) I spotted something that looked quite unnatural in its position. I checked my device and despite it indicating the cache was 9m in a different direction, I announced "I bet that's the cache".... And it was. Thanks for the smiley Ozziehopper, and Happy Birthday Thom (the big number 5 now!)
We're on the Gold Coast for a week or so and naturally are picking up the odd cache or three as we move about. This morning, Mumma-Kel and I went out early to grab a few on our first sunny morning here since we arrived.
This one was far easier than we had anticipated. Although the container is well camoed (nice job Ozziehopper), we saw it from 20m away. I hope all the neighbours know about it ... you could easily have a largish crowd of spectators watching your every move here, but today we saw no one.
Thanks for the smiley!

Find Number 643, found at 5:56
I came to the Gold Coast to take part in the National Finals of a bridge competition. This morning I woke at 5am, wide awake and I knew I wouldn't get to sleep again. What to do for 3 hours before breakfast was due to be served? Obvious, go caching!
I walked here from the hotel arriving just before 6am. I was surprised to see all the apartments overlooking the park, but at this time of the morning no one was around. I found the cache quite quickly but realised I had forgotten my pen so I had to sign the log with a green crayon in the cache. The cache was in good condition, except that a small area of camoflage on the lid has come off so some of the lid colour is visible. Nothing serious, but might be worth keeping an eye on.
We took nothing, left nothing and replaced the cache as found.
As I started walking away from GZ someone entered the park, saw me and called out "Are you playing that game?" We had a long chat and he told me that most of the people overlooking the park are aware of the cache - he even knew where it was and showed me.
Thanks Ozziehopper for the cache. All the work that has gone into the camo is well worth a favoutite point from me.

I had an early morning appointment at the local hospital and thought I would make the quick detour to look for this cache. It was nice and quiet in the park this morning, and on approach to the GZ I could see the hiding spot for the cache....cool camo! SL TSLS TFTC
This was another of the interesting areas we have come across through Geocaching, where you have an area behind all the houses that is parkland. The hint took us to this one. There were some interesting trees here. Soon had our name added to the log and the cache returned to its hide. TFTC
Happy Birthday Tom! Great camouflage. Heaps of bindis Lu Lu the dog wasn't too impressed! Found with Squirtle_turtle and AliceEvan.
Great geocaching day with fellow newbies Starfish3 & aliceevan. See below comments from these guys for our group find
Quick and easy find, great camo too! Laughed at the "about head height" I'm not that tall so a little stretch for me Happy Birthday Thom!
Cool cache. Blended in well with surroundings. Nice open space for all of the townhouses. Hefty smurf travel bug visited, as did Mt Rainier coin. TFTC
Well I've done caches in the cbd that required less stealth... so many windows.... Easy find.. tftc... left some Singapore coin... happy birthday Thom...
Wow easiest find ever. And had old couple behind me watching haha told them about it, that had seen it there for a year.
Next person please add a sharpener it needs one DChanell

found this while showing some friends geocaching, one of the team was a young lad called Tom! he was very excited to hunt for some treasure that was named after him. He was pretty impressed with some of the swag but was generous enough to put it back before we had finished signing the log. Tom was also pretty pleased with the nearby swing.

Nice easy find here. A happy belated birthday to Thom! I could smell someone BBQ'ing near GZ... Mmmm... Must be lunch time! TFTC. TNLN. SL.
!!!!tftc!!!!!! nicely hidden but the camo needs doing again, put on some extra cover
A great open space for all the unit dwellers nearby. I guess Thom will be turning 5 soon. SL TFTC
I needed lots of stealth tonight to get to this one, the parkland was deserted and the homes closed up for the night as I headed to GZ. My torch had new batteries and was too bright to use without drawing attention to myself. I had enough light from the homes to get there. Once I arrived it was just a metter of waiting for a resident to wheel his bin out the front and for a lady to clear her clothesline, and then I could look around. I spotted the cache easily. Sadly a lot of the camo is peeling off but it still looks cute. I think that Sellys allclear might be better for sticking this type of camo on a container that is out in the elements. I logged my name and left a toy, then replaced and headed out to my next one. Lovely park here and I can just imagine the kids running crazy on weekends.
Yeh another one bights the dust! Really good one for the kids, Mitch 7, Lexie 3. Easy find but nice location. Lived here for 15 years and never been to this park.
Found today after a visit to the hospital. Phone was going crazy in all directions but didn't take long to work out where I needed to be. Tftc.
Went with a friend to Tweed Hospital. Left her with her other half for a visit and walked to do a few caches.
This one was readily to hand.
Needs a little further camoflauge, think some has come unstuck.
Took Zebra, left lip balm gift.
TFTC Ozziehopper, hope Thom had a great birthday and is enjoying all the entries.

After a 4 day conference last week, geohubby arrived on GC and it is time to have a holiday. He gets a bit frustrated in traffic, so it's out to the countryside today for some caching. Had to go south to attend some business, then further south for some finds interstate.
This is no 2 of 22 for the day.
After a bit of a trip driving around, cache found easily. TFTC SL

In Tweed Heads for a couple of hours whilst my partner was in a meeting. A few showers, so had to wait a couple of times whilst searching for caches. This was my first for the day.
Out and about between a rehearsal and a concert with my dedicated GCing buddy, DanorRory. I was getting cross at him for not being wary of the nearby muggles watching us, but it turns out they were the lovely cache owners! TFTC!
Found once we braved midges and green ants in the park. Lovely evening fins.
On a trip to the area to meet up with family, we took the opportunity to do a little caching on the side. Thoroughly enjoyed the area and saw some spectacular views during our visit.
Once we were at GZ we didn't have any trouble finding the cache.
Being the taller out of Coruze and I, the cache was soon nabbed.

We were heading to Byron Bay to attend a wedding and decided to go a bit earlier so that we could pick up some solved puzzles and any other caches nearby. The CO must be very tall! Nice little park!
