27-Oct-15
Like others drew a blank here. Was sorry to do that because it's the perfect place for a cache. Hope it gets replaced sometime assuming it's gone as I'm doing.

18-Sep-15
Was here a year ago and there were too many muggles. This year no muggles and no cache

31-May-15

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! Not the nicest spot to be looking spot to be looking!

Thanks anyway to crazyhyperkimi for bringing us to this location.

Great hiding spot and nice hint.

17-Jan-15
As we were close by we thought we would get two for the day. Walked across the bridge, novel experience, has been quite a few years since FFLL no 1 was on this bridge and it was a new experience for No 2 who didn't even know it was here

We headed to GZ and soon had the container in hand, signing duties completed and the cache was returned. We watched a local hit some golfballs and bet up with some local kangaroos who were on the move to who knows where. Dropped TB

TFTC crazyhyperkimi for bringing us here

Tried once before ages ago. Found it today while walking the dog. Thanks for the cache.

29-Dec-14
Interesting bridge. Lucky we didn't come nephew Christmas or we would have been deprived of the chance to walk over it.

Great suspension bridge - is this what inspired the Peer Gynt music? Found the cache with Knightech (great fun shared afternoon caching) - it was left in the open so it has been place in a better position. There was no sign of the "long object" left as per a previous cacher. TFTC.

10-Dec-14
GPS had me looking near the river bank but found on higher ground. Used to rock the bridge when we were kids walking across it! Left a gift for the next person under the box, it was only slightly too long to fit in the box

21-Nov-14
simple we found it easily Smile

16-Nov-14
Spotted it quite easily then asked my 3yr old if he could see anything.
He was so excited when he found the "treasure"!!!

16-Nov-14
Fun bridge!

14-Nov-14
Found on an ACT (and beyond) caching raid with Hoojar over 48hrs. We did some bike riding, plenty of walking and driving, some pouring rain and a bit of heat in the sun.

An interesting old bridge.

TFTC!

When steeba suggested a trip to Canberra and Queanbeyan to tackles some more power trails, I could hardly say no! Eventaully our diaries aliigned, and this was to be the weekend. We headed down on Friday evening, and were home again 48 hours later. A great weekend with lots of walking, riding, rain, heat, wind, and caches, lots and lots of caches!

A quick find in the obvious location, even thought the GPSr pointed further away.

Cheers

09-Nov-14
Nice quick find in the obvious place although I had coordinates about 12m out. Great old bridge - TFTC!

25-Oct-14
Found after a bit of a hunt. GPS had us looking in different area and previous logs had us looking in different spot. Muggles nearby warned if a tiger snake in area so be aware. TFTC.

Found it. Thanks

Found the cache on the ground. Glue holding the magnets on has given way for one magnet. I replaced the cache where I thought it belonged (the other magnet was still stuck there), but I don't think the single remaining magnet will hold the weight of the cache for long.
Thanks for this hide. We didn't know this was here. Will have to bring geohusband with us one day for this one.

10m off for me so relied on cachers intuition, quite large and obvious small, tftc!

04-May-14
Didn't take too long to find (was initially thinking it would be harder than it was Smile. Because of the muggles it actually took longer to put back than to find! TNLNSL TFTC

This one is still needing a logbook to be added.

09-Mar-14
New log book added =]

28-Feb-14
After landing back in Canberra, we detoured out here to check out this spot. Cachers love bridges and this was a neat one at that. It didn't take log for Miss Stormcatcher to spot the cache but when we opened it we discovered there was no logbook. Like others before us we left our mark on the back of the information sheet. Thanks crazyhyperkimi.

Maintenance needed - no logbook

17-Feb-14
On my way to the Queanbeyan show grounds I had a few minutes up my sleeve so a quick stop here and a jaunt over the bridge took me close to this one, then after a good look round I saw it several meters away in a logical spot. Thanks.

2925. I needed to clock up a few more k's before hooking up the float and heading to Jindabyne for the weekend, so decided a trip to Queanbeyan was the go.
A quick stop here with no muggles and a quick find as well although it wasn't in the first couple of spots that I looked.
Not sure what the go was here, but there seems to be no log book present, I signed the caching note sheet and moved on.
TFTC.

7565 + 919 = 8484. Found during a lunchtime run around parts of Queanbeyan...

Third find on a lovely day out in the sun. Another familiar location having cached here before - although on the other side last time. Walked over the bridge and as there were no muggles around made a quick find. Nice !

Thanks crazyhyperkimi !!

TN Left TB - TFTC !!

Cheers....

A nice easy find, once the local muggles had crossed over to the other side. Nicely hidden spot to do the finding as well, so extra kudos for that!

TNLN - Thanks crazyhyperkimi!

27-Dec-13

My second visit here, read other logs! Found cache on ground, tried to find a less obvious spot but utilised the in built magnets and hopefully returned it to its spot.

I found this geocache using the Geocaching Intro App. TFTC!

16-Nov-13
Last today and I have been here before caching. There used to be another cache on the other side. The coordinates were 15 meters out and after checking where we had them. We got the find TFTC

16-Nov-13
Found with Mr Roo. We looked around for a while at the spot where the GPSr took us, but then had to widen the search area about 15 metres to find the cache. TFTC

09-Nov-13
Heading to Canberra to have a look at the "Mapping the World" exhibition we decided to take the scenic way and pick up a few caches along the way. After booking into our motel we decided that we had time to do a few more before dinner.
Nuvi took us to the wrong side of a natural barrier but this was easily remedied although not happily by one team member as Diane has a pet hate of swinging bridges. Once at gz we made it a lot harder than what it needed to be but after a doh!!!! moment we were soon adding our name to the log.
Thanks crazyhyperkimi for the cache.

09-Nov-13
Hey, nice bridge!! Thanks for the cache!!

2013: 304 Days In A Row - We've been here on previous occasions and commented on the lack of caches on the structure. Well today it was nice to come back and find one!! Big Grin A quick find by the geokid while we were still on the bridge. It was then time to make that things sway all the way back across. Thanks for the cache! Smile

18-Oct-13
Once again, Rapidlywild and I were out and about gallivanting around on another geomission on a Friday night. Tonight we decided to run amok at Queanbeyan Big Grin[:O)]Big Grin

After parking the car closeby, RW and I made the short stroll to the cache- where it was found in seconds! [^] After grabbing the container we heard a noise and then the bridge started moving! It was a muggle walking on the bridge! Surprised No problem for us though, with cache in hand we just moved over to the fenced area and 'examined' that area Big Grin So with muggle moved on and none the wiser, caching duties were completed and we were off for the next one!

Thanks for the cache at this interesting bridge, crazyhyperkimi Smile

18-Oct-13
So it was Geomission time again with specimenX Smile

We had made a couple finds prior to this one however I had already located those so this was find #1 for me for the night.

We approached the GZ and had a good idea of the hide location, specimenX went in for the retrieval. Just as she made the find, someone was coming across the bridge so we took the cache for a walk to do logging duties. Once the cache was signed, it was returned. Man that bridge is bouncy when people are walking on it lol

Thanks for the cache crazyhyperkimi Smile
