Frustration. The info in my GPS was about a month old. Got to GZ to find it fenced off. Would have jumped the fence but there were 2 council workers nearby. Now I see its disabled. Better get my GPS up to date.

16-Jul-15
unfortunately I am away at the moment so unable to check out the circumstances, for the time being I have disabled the cache.

31-May-15
As per previous geocacher, GZ is now fenced off.

17-May-15
A small problem here -- a fence which looks like it's between us sturdy geocachers and GZ! Very crisp very new. Of course, I could be wrong, but the coords seem to point to what I figured from description and logs looks like GZ to me. Sad

Suscoe's 13th find of today as we explored this area of Melbourne.
We have not ventured this way before and so we enjoyed seeing the countryside and the amazing development that has taken place throughout the area.
A quiet spot, a quick find and sign and away we went.
Glad the drizzle has finally eased off.
Thanks to ELERT261419 for this cache.

Looked in all the easy places first before moving to the more difficult places. Got attacked by the prickle bushes and bumped my head on a low protruding limb. Latter someone told me my ear was bleeding. Had a bigger grope around in one of the difficult places and came up with something I'd missed the first time. Lucky the climbing wasn't too hard on this one.

Thanks again ELERT261419 for a great cache, albeit one I'm glad to see the back of...

I hate climbing trees, I really hate climbing trees. But with Darcy egging me on and working out that even I could reach this one I made a quick find and we signed the log. Thanks for the cache ELERT261419. And did I mention that I hate climbing trees?

I met up with Day1976 for an afternoon and evening of caching. We decided to start north east of the city and work our way west towards an event we were going to attend later that night at Point Cook. The weather had looked a bit ominous earlier on but held off for us and it was actually pretty mild all evening.
We actually did five 'Woody' caches this afternoon, all with varying degrees of trickiness. Probably the easier of the Woody hides we found. Log signed and we were on our way. A great series too.
Thanks ELERT261419.

Found and signed.
Could use an update...

17-Mar-14
Found the cache but not sure if it was where it was meant to be......wouldn't warrant a 2.5 terrain rating if it was!! Signed the log at the nearby seat, picked some of the thorns off my arms and replaced the cache where I think it should have been.......will check with CO.
Thanks for bringing me here and the little bit of history of the area.

06-Mar-14
Found this one today. I made this one much harder than it needed to be as I approached it from completely the wrong direction (I had the wrong idea from the terrain rating) and almost did myself an injury trying to find this cache. While I was down, I looked over and spied the cache. Went round to the correct approach, got cache, signed log at nearby seat, didn't swap anything today, brushed myself off and returned cache to its hide. The ruins looked interesting.

Thanks for the cache ELERT261419

I toyed with the idea of doing a Wherigo in the inner suburbs, but the weather didn't look particularly promising. A trip to the tip to recycle a few dead bits of technology sent me north-ish, so continuing in that direction until I ran out of time seemed as good a plan as any.

I've seen a few of the original Woody locations, and they'll have to wait until I have the right equipment on board. This one's more my size, involving a nice short scramble to retrieve... just enough for a feeling of accomplishment.

A pretty site; thanks for bringing me here, ELERT261419.
