Had a good look with friendly park worker who knew where to look. Cache not their.
Came back after two interrupted looks earlier. With the help of a friendly park worker who knew what I was looking for, came up empty handed. Cache is not their.
Sundown, and we wanted to loom for a few more, chose the two in the section of park for that.
Walked over to the gz, and took a few walk abouts,but saw a glimpse of what we wanted, and it wasn't on the other item, which had a roach friend staring at us.... Yay.
Extracted cache for hyjynx, and she completed the signings.
Have to bring the boys here next time we come up and see the place in the day.

Coordinates were spot on and the cache spotted. Had to wait for muggles and used a tool from our kit to retrieve. TFTC

Quite honestly, the beautiful gardens really steal the show in this gorgeous park. Think the GPS's shortened version of calling the cache 'This one is for the bird' was a pretty accurate clue to the hide. TFTC timbermills.
A nice easy one on a sunny sunday afternoon. Not too many muggles around. Lovely birds.
Found it! First find in a long time but we done it! Lots of muggles around so took awhile to retrieve it lol

Down in Hastings for the weekend. Stopped here for a chat to the birds and a spot of caching. Brought my tall husband with me as I had failed in my previous attempt to retrieve the cache. Success this time! Tftc

But beware: muggles abound!On our trail back home we did a few caches for the day. Most were a blur but some were very clever. This one very a very sneaky hide. Also never knew this existed and the birds were all out this morning. What a lovely spot. Thanks for the cache. DId wth Buttels
Another clever wee cache. I was about to give up when CF reached up for a fell about and there it was. Found with Crystal Fairy on a wet Winter morning. TFTC
Had a good look around. Birds beautiful. Got a bit late and cold so we will have to return.

Not sure where the cache container has been put, as it is not in the original hiding spot. I have put another container and fresh log back in original place. So if you happen to find and empty container, can you please remove. Thanks

Just about to give up on this cache when suddenly the light fell in the right spot and it was located. Clever hide and a new container for us.
With the help of Willbuild we found it! Phones GPS seems to go crazy but the GPS was spot on
I found this cache with my Mum (sunnybunny64) earlier in the year but have only just got my own geocaching account. I’m hoping you won’t mind me back dating this find so that I can log all the ones I have actually found in my own account. Jordis – 7yrs

Well, that was heaps of fun!
The park was full of little muggles, so we were standing by the likely hide, waiting for a gap, and a parks maintenance truck stops close by and calls out "you are at the right spot"!
Clearly there is a cacher on the staff - thanks for the confirmation, as soon as we had a gap we reached up and got the little thing.

found cache OK and signed the log then a large family group came to check out the birds so ended up taking the cache for a walk around the park doing some other caches before it was safe to return it. some nice birds in their.
without receiving a penny I can tell you that this one is nicely hidden. Thank you

In the Hawkes Bay for a long weekend of relaxation and caching. Found one of these before so had some idea of what it was when spotted. A tricky hide and glad to have this one ticked off. TFTC.
