Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.
Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).
If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**
Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.
If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by **28th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 28th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache ""
I'm following up on my "Needs Maintenance" log which is now well over 30 days old & there has been no action by the CO. The cache appears to have been abandoned and should be archived.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Google maps took us to the side of a road and we had to walk through awful prickles and got all the way to 1metre only to find a logged account saying the cache is missing! Disappointing
Hi there cache_us_if_you_kan.
This is the 2nd of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.

Hi there cache_us_if_you_kan,
RE: Your cache **"In The Wild West"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache is missing.. It really needs some owner TLC.
Normally we would have replaced/maintained the cache but recent activities have left us with nothing to replace it with.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Had a really good look for this after quite a walk, the road is closed to vehicles it seems. We dont think it is there any more.
We parked our car about 650m from GZ. From there is was a straightforward walk to GZ, although the surface was quite crumbly probably from the mud having dried after very wet conditions. Once near GZ, accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks zapzipzappa for the cache.
TFTC. Driving back from Down by the River, we were about to bypass this location. Common sense prevailed and we stopped at the car park and walked along the path. Easy find.
Yay! We found it! 2 of 3 for the day ?? took mum and the little brother out for the walk good fun indeed! Bit damp too.
Needs a new logbook soon.

Found several carvings on the trees along the way. Its a pity the lake is dry. Quick find, TFTC
#2746 - We rode the geobikes out to the cache point on dirt trails. Would not be good in the wet. The gates are now locked due to ongoing rubbish dumping.
Quick find at the lagoon cords.
All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle adventure via

Nice early morning walk, enjoying the morning sun as was a large red belly black - he jumped I jumped and we both headed of in different directions, once I convinced my feet to stop, quick look around and back towards G.Z. and a quick find. TFTC a steady stroll home and a bit more observant
Geo hubbys second greatest fear, The first being spiders, is snakes. what did we run into, nice big fat red belly black sunning himself on the road in. i'm not sure who jumped highest snake or hubby. once the road was clear we could continue on to the cache. pleasant morning walk.
Easy find TFTC GC needs to camo better was out in the open

We arrived at the entrance to the common and accessed the track and decided it would be fine for our 2WD. All good with the cache.

Travelling to Stanthorpe for the mega event via Orroroo, Peterborough, Broken Hill, Cobar, Lightning Ridge and Moree. Great to find this well hidden cache and seeing more of this unique location. We were ablle to team up with Roostaman for most of the caches and it was great to find this one. When we returned to our caravan park it was time to soak in the hot artesian pool before going out for dinner. What a great end to a great day. Thanks to zapzipzappa.
Braved the cold to find the cache tonight, left a lucky penny behind for the next person. Great find. Jack & Bronte
Went for a nice stroll with the dog, turns out someone had been there just before!
Having a break in Moree to get some heat into the bones at the thermal pools - brilliant. Chance to get a couple of caches as well. TFTC - SL and TN but left about four items to help stock this up a bit. Really good park area to wander or drive around. Saw fantastic eagle (but also a feral cat!!)
Arrived into Moree for a couple of days, have set our caravan up in the showgrounds.
We spent the morning searching for caches around the town. Had a muggle with us showing her what caching is all about.
This was like a small tour of the area, we went from parks, cemetry, to river banks .
Thanks for placing this cache zapzipzappa

A nice drive through the reserve. GZ was about 3 metres off, but still found the cache quickly. Took some great pics of birdlife on the lagoon. Thanks for taking us to this lovely spot. TFTC.
When out west, why not go to the wild west! So it was off to the Moree Common, a place we never knew existed. We managed to drive all the way to GZ in a 2WD but wet weather would be different. Spotted the cache on arrival, SL and rehid better. TFTC zapzipzappa.
Easy find. Got the commodore in on the dirt track in the dry ok. Lacking in worthy swaps so we stocked it with a few. Thanks owner
Co-ords were out by about 15 to 20 meters but I managed to find it using the PAF lifeline.
Found an aerosol can in the cache which will be going in the next bin I see - CITO.
