Just over 3 years ago I did this circuit, yet missed 3 of the caches. Now after seeing the series archived I was hoping to get those 3 before they disappeared forever. Fortunately I was able to get to them in time.
I do enjoy our volcanic history, and the cache camo was very appropriate.
Thanks, mudbrick.

Great cache! Thanks for the series! We'll be back another day to finish it off and get our two DNF's
Rocking rocks found. The competition is on with all the caches around the lake. Wish they were on the free app!
A nice easy find on our way to our Tassie holiday. We decided to kill some time as the boat got delayed a few hours. So we picked out this like as a good spot and I am glad we did. We managed several caches and a good walk with our boys.
With a bit of coaxing in the right direction the youngest Fergzter made the find on this one. He is getting pretty good at picking out camo hides. Not bad for a 4 year old.
TFTC Mudbrick.

Found this one with geo parents today. Geo mum took the actual find though.
By far one of my faves. What an excellent little bit of tool work.

Awesome camo! Really nice walk with lots of birds around and no muggles during the day. TFTC! Padlocke + The Voidd
Rock on! Tftc. We are having great fun doing this series . (signed log as kptwit68)
Haha mudbrick you and I share the same magical ability. Again the cache notes are informative and entertaining.
Geokids made the find here.
TNLNSL returned as found. TFTC

I love cherries. So much fun hunting for them around Cherry Lake today. Thanks for the fun mudbrick!
Out on a lovely summer day. Luckily no snakes around and cache found quickly. Great camo!
3rd find for the day. I had to use the clue for this one, the cache was a good hide I like the effort gone into making this one, signed log and returned to its hiding spot. TFTC
5/11 Muggle hubby was cautious of snakes for this one - even our noisiest stompers are much too precious to be confronted by a slithering beastie so he bravely sends his wife (me) in - Its my hobby and my choice of activity today - so over I stomp. in the meantime muggle hubby found a slightly clearer route to GZ and by the time I find the hide the whole gang is there with me. nicely constructed - really! great job! hidden as found, and the geocachers go marching on.
Beware the small, angry, polka-dotted spider that guards this cache!
Quick find, very clever camo. TFTC!

A rush job as the little one was screaming by now and only wanted to be held by daddy. Quick log book sign and we were on our way. TFTC
Enjoying this magnificent walk along this trail.
After picking up a few in the HX area both Mel & I decided upon a quick walk around the lake - HAHA and quick walk ended up taking us across the other side of the lake - This is the first time I have made the effort to walk it - well worth the effort.
The hide:
A quick find & spot on coords - Mel nailed this one.... I had no chance. Again nice work on the camo

Chook spotted this one after Chunk walked past. Looked out for maccamobs baby tiger snake but not to be seen today, even though it was a lovely warm spring afternoon. (We kept on guard not just here but all around the lake). TFTC mudbrick.
Took a bit of searching but we found it in the end. This was our first go at Geocaching. Lots of fun with the family. Thanks
Found by Mary & David at 1640. Came past a baby tiger snake coiled up on the path in the sun on the way here. Plenty of muggles coming and going and giving it a wide berth. Amazingly, some (obviously tourists or recent immigrants) didn't know that tiger snakes were poisonous! Found the cache easily afterwards, but now it was an anticlimax. Our thanks to mudbrick.
Decided to head out late in the afternoon for a walk around Cherry Lake with Geofamily. Hopefully we collected enough clues for the Mystery Cache. TFTC & the series!!!
In Melbourne working & had just finished work. Went to look at a boat place & then decided to stop in at this lake for a walk around & collect some geocachers along the way. Wet & cold, lets hope I make it all the way around. TFTC
Out and about today with Mudbrick and Bentley Parker in tow on a beautiful sunny Sunday. Joined the CO for a maint run whilst he stood back and watched me poke around for his hides! A great way to finish up the weekend.
Just read about this area being volcanic plains, wow. A great spot for a cache series.

This is one took me far longer than it should have. I guess my geocaching eyes were failing in the failing light. TFTC.
I'd had my eye on this series for a while now and today the chance arose to go for a bit of a drive out this way, so I packed the bikes and 5 year old in the car and we headed off. I didn't even realise this reserve and walking path existed but it's a beautiful space and a nice way to spend a sunny winter afternoon. Not that many people around so we had the path mostly to ourselves which allowed us to move around at a gentle pace to enjoy the scenery and the interesting range of different geocaches. I can imagine at this time of year this one would be a bit muddy to get to but thanks to the recent mild weather we quickly made our way to GZ for the find. Thanks for the cache mudbrick.
This was my sixth find of the day and 100th overall, which was the goal. Very pleased! TFTC.
The breeze is very cool but the sun is out. What a day to do a trail like this with Misschief18. If only there were a few seats scattered along the path. Another great hide.

Sun is shinning its not raining yet the wind is steady and not a lot of birds singing. Nice to see some caches with a bit of effort put into them. Thanks mudbrick FTC.
