The not so little turmoils wanted to hang out at the Morayfield shops so I dumped them and then headed out along Caboolture River Rd for the AL and all the caches up to Rocksberg. I really enjoyed the scenery and found some awesome picnic areas along the way. Some were complete with access to the Caboolture River which will be a hit for us in the warmer months.Looked at chest and head and above head height. Tree, fence, gate. No luck. I will be back out here in the coming months because I want to share the area with family.
We found your catch Slow puncture at 1:00pm. This is my 70th find and out first find for the day. We were just out in Rocksburg for some rocks from the little creek for the Geokid to paint so we collected the caches on our way through TFTC found with DL197

Great hide and a nice drive out here.
I was searching all around it, then read hint again and had another look and found it. Thanks for the cache! Found 13/07/23 1:00pm with bryce3515.

You just have to love a south east Queensland winter, whilst the mornings can be cool the days are often bright and pleasing and a trip out into the nearby country side to hint caches is a lovely way to spend a morning.
After finding an appropriate spot to park the geowagon, I walked over to collect the prize. It was soon found, log extracted and signature added before returning safely for the next cacher to find.
Very pleased to be able to turn this cache into a yellow smilie and off of search of my next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Initially searched the wrong feature, but after coming up empty handed moved on to search the options nearby. It was in the second one we checked, nicely tucked away. Thanks Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Should have approached from the other side and I may have spotted it straight away. As it was I searched a nearby object first before moving to where the cache actually was found. TFTC
A drive around the lovely countryside led us to this one which was soon in hand. We signed the extra piece of paper that a previous finder had put in and replaced as found. The next finders might like to take a new log to put in the container. Thanks for this one Slow Puncture.
Headed north for a few adventure labs, picking up a few caches that I passed.

Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache COCKIES CROSSING on 2/9/2022, 12:20 pm. This is my find 4084 and find # 6 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found the geocache after some looking around on the fence, in the tree and finally the ground.
I have moved the geocache back to place that matches the hint and it is firmly attached. It is not far away from where it was found on the ground or the coordinates.
Thank you for the stop on this beautiful country road.

Waterlogged paper. Was found just lying on ground. Replaced where we think it might have been.
We admired the creek at the crossing and then stopped for a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Quarry Lane runs from Sticken Place to the Fiveways and can be seen as a widdershins extension of Chittling Street. Sticken Place stands at the hub-by-widdershins corner of the Cattle Market, and this gives an indirect clue as to the ethnic and racial nature of the population who have colonised the area, especially around the intersection with Clay Lane.
Another bridge with log issues. Recent storms brought logs to jam up and send water over road. Loving where work is bringing me today.
Very quick find when I considered the hint in relation to my height, other people's height being higher than mine.
Tether needs attention as it has come lose.

Started solving the nearby AC series on the weekend of the Dayboro mega when it was bucketing down and I forgot to bring a rain jacket. Today, with torrential rain forecast I have brought along my rain , umbrella ️ and hat and of course no rain lol . Only grabbed a few of the series today with more to solve.
Whilst I was out this way, I came by this cache. I was glad there wasn’t torrential rain otherwise the crossing may not have been cross able. Tftc

I had picked the Caboolture River Road area for my caching target for the day. It is a 1 hour drive from home to get here so I had worked out a plan based on the AL series and a number of caches along the way. This cache was on the list.
I wandered around checking a few spots before I decided to look in the correct spot.

TFTC. Sneaky one but found by eagle eye TreasureTrakas, enjoying the day putting smileys on our maps.
out this way filling a blank spot on my days of year finds, this was also one to grab quickly, log sheet was wet, but soon dried out on hot bonnet of ute, stamped my sign, and replaced, Thanks Slow Puncture, for the hide
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Quick find and log sheet signed Thanks for the cache
Found by Mary and David at 12:50. This took a while, and we eventually had to resort to a TOTT to retrieve the unseen container from its dark hide. The River is roaring along and, judging by the flood debris caught up in the posts, has been well over a metre in recent days. We're certainly not in Victoria now. M always thinks of those pioneer women without any conveniences or medical help. Our thanks to Slow Puncture (LJCC).
Fun find next to onlooking bunch of brown cows. Found with Joolay, isopeda and barb2e on our trip to Dayboro. Cache signed as Capital Crunchers.

I can’t believe it’s been almost six months since I was here last...
Today was a nice quick find with an acquired retrieval tool... tftc... and it’s just starting to rain...

We knew where this one would be located but with various critters and creatures guarding the cache, we opted to use a tool for retrieval. Log was soon signed and we on our way again. TFTC
Back out this way to grab the AC series, so I decided to come back here as it was replaced not so long ago. A quick find here while admiring the creek nearby that's flowing nicely from the recent rain.

Accurate coordinates made this a very quick find . All's good at gz . Thanks Slow Puncture
Reception is indeed an issue at GZ! I highly recommend you download the cache details prior to heading out here.
We were out this way to collect caches along a mini power trail (Agatha Christie) and the bonus cache for a nearby adventure lab, we decided to try our luck at this trad.
Appears it was indeed missing. The CO kindly gave me permission, through the awful phone reception, to replace the cache. It is now a silver bison tube in the right spot - NAGL. Think of the Lorax. Oh won't you think of the Lorax.
Starting to fade about now - really need more water, to wear a hat and sunscreen, eat some food, and generally get out of the sun. It's been a great day .

Was taken on an unexpected ride today, and after visiting a nearby geoart series we found ourselves heading past here. After we agreed it was definitely missing, a quick call to the lovely COs and a replacement was popped in place.

Today was my second visit to this location... The first was to finish the AL, today was to collect the Bonus cache... I came armed with the knowledge that phone reception was an "issue"...
With all this in mind... I still couldn't spot a cache with the clue in mind...

Out today to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day. An early start to grab a couple of FTF’s over at Ningi and then to do this adventure lab in the area followed by grabbing a few trads on the way back. Phone service was sporadic at times but still managed to get the job done. If it wasn’t for the lab series I would have never come this way. A beautiful area and one I must come back to on a better day, it also seems to be popular with the locals and campers.
I walked over and the first thing I noticed was the bottle caps stuck into a root of the tree. Well that’s interesting, perhaps beer does grow on trees or is that a root beer tap. Cache was a little tricky to find but eventually find it and signed the log.. With log signed and cache replaced it was off to the next one in the area, thank you.

Out today with grannysmith1947. We had fun today.
Grab a few here and a few there.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Slow Puncture (adopted from Outback Di) TFTC *541* streak. *3240* Finds

Collecting some caches on the far side of town as I try not to come this side if I don't have to as I usually get myself lost but not today and I found this cache fairly easily. Paperwork competed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
1/1/20 2:24 pm Find #3108
Out and about with Fangsoki to break in the New Year caching, and grabbing caches with a particular attribute, we headed here. Parking the car, we walked over and the first thing I noticed was the bottle caps stuck into a root of the tree. Well that’s interesting, perhaps beer does grow on trees after all.
The cache however was not quite as easy to find. It wasn’t where it should have been, instead I managed to find it under leaf litter on the ground. No attachment anymore on the bison, but I have pushed back into its hide safely.
Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (adopted from Outback Di).

Six years Slow Puncture put this cache out.. Six bloody years.. and I hadn't gotten to it. Well today it was time to right a wrong.
I went along the familiar road towards Rocksberg a did a uturn to arrive at GZ.
This embarrassingly took me a while to spot. I had a mindset where I thought it should be. I eventually spotted the prize. It took me longer to get the log back in the container.. and then back to GZ because of constant traffic - then finding it.
Got there in the end. A nice place to stop. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)

I love driving on these quiet country roads. You never know what you will find along the way.
I stopped close to the GZ and found the cache quickly. Log was signed and placed back for the next cacher.

Another creek crossing - another cache. Nice little "power trail" country drive along here.
Seemed hard to reach gz with the lantana and weedy things overgrowing the fence but once in the right spot it was a quick find.
Spotted a stone fence up the road but not at gz…..
While we were there an "all terrain vehicle" buggy thing zoomed past with 4 or 5 people in it - definitely not road registered. I guess the police must not frequent these out-of-the-way roads.

After a short saerch and looking in all the wrong spots, I widened my search and spotted the rusty wire in the wrong spot. Cache in hand!! TNLNSL TFTC
While MrsLangy and LittleMan went for a walk down to the crossing I set about finding the cache. LittleMan and long grass don't mix all that well.
Saw some great hidey-holes but I should have known from their proximity to a close-able gap in the fencing that the cache wouldn't have been there.
Take care once you have found the cache to not be like me and trip over an exposed root. No physical injuries sustained merely a dent in my dignity.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
currently in Woodford as Mr Felix had some work at the Woodford Festival. With that time now over its time to get back with reality and out and about caching and shopping.

Driving over the causeway it was hard not to stop in the middle of the road to have a good look at the running water. Unfortunately there was the odd car racing through at speed and turning something so peaceful into something busted is not my style.
After finding the cache I wanted to go down closer to the crossing but there was no safe place to stand and so I got as close as I could without getting that naughty feeling. tftc

A perfect afternoon for a drive with the geokids and what area better than this to do it in. With the list of caches I was aiming to turn into smiles in hand we set off on our mission.
So getting to the cache my phones GPS had now started to skitz out a bit but I remembered the hint so went about looking in the area I thought it would be in. BINGO! Log signed and placed back in its spot TFTC!

Wish I'd read the description and knew to look for the fence. Last minute decision to find these caches along this road. Rhobocacher had done them all but we had some time and she took me to them all.

Found on a sneaky caching afternoon with Selva Girls...not getting out to do a lot, but every cache counts We enjoyed our drive through this beautiful area this afternoon, thanks for bringing us her Slow Puncture
After finding a cache further up the road, we decided to find the caches on our way back. This one had us searching in all the wrong places, but, eventually, the cache was located. Stortigirls and I added our names tot he log, returned the cache to where it was found and then continued on our way. TFTC
Ahh found it not where I thought it may be though but while I was there I had to pretend to be interested in looking at the cows nearby while the muggles past me by. Signed and replaced and I was out of there TFTC
Made ourselves a breakfast pizza as a hangover cure this morning before we headed off to find a couple of caches.
Well this was a sneaky one we found we were too close at first and when we stepped back it became clear tftc
After working at Morayfield, we spent the afternoon on a hunt for thirteen geocaches starting at the far end of Caboolture River Road. What a fabulous piece of countryside merging into the urban areas of Morayfield. We found all thirteen caches.
We didn't have to hang around long to find this one.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 2.00pm on 30th July 2016. TFTC

Great scenery around this one. Had problems retrieving the cache as it was guarded by hundred of large ants and they didn't want to give it up. Only one space left on the log so will soon need replacing. TFTC Slow Puncture
