fitzy_1965 and I headed to the Lake Illawarra area to do some caching with friends for the Canberra long weekend. We signed our group as SHI (ShellHarbour Invasion) which consisted of Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, ispoeda, Tankengine, dty73, fitzy_1965 and myself or if most had already found we signed our own names. It was a great few days away and lots of caches found. Thanks to the CO's for placement.
Long weekend with Contesta, Kittykatch, Joolay, DTY73, Tankengine, fitzy_1965, and MinnieK with the main goal to finish the SES series. Signing as SHI - Shellharbour Invasion. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Find # 1220125/5/2024 16:33Caching adventures continue and trying to tick off as many on the solved pile as I can. Headed across to the coast for the long weekend to meet up with a few other CBR cachers. The main target is the SES series, having worked on these puzzles last year and gradually made the solves. Some with help and others straightforward. Either way it was an enjoyable series, generally. Now its time to collect. And of course with so many others to choose from in this area, its a busy weekend.Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun! The group consists of Joolay, KittyKatch, isopeda, minniek, fitzy_65, dty73, and Tankengine. Signing as SHIAll caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Mini Rats for LIPT No: 36
Chooo ooo [Found] on a quick trip down to Shell Harbour with dty73! Found with a bunch of other Canberra and local cachers! Signed SHI (Shell Harbour Invaders) log is full. Thanks Mini Rats!
10m out at least by my coords but continued searching till found. Looking forward to a warmer weekend enjoying the lovely Wollongong area with Kittykatch, contesta, ispoeda, Tankengine, dty73, fitzy_1965 and minniek. Signing Thanks for getting me out and about Mini Rats
Tankengine and I drove down from Canberra leaving at 6:30am Saturday morning and joined our friends (Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, Isopeada, minniek and fitzy_1965) and we had become part of the Shellharbour Invasion Team (SHI). We could only stay one night, so up early Sunday for a quick bite to eat and more caching before we had to leave everyone to head home again. We had a fun time caching, logging many finds and a couple DNFs, enjoyed a lovely dinner at the very busy club at the great event on Saturday night and most of all hanging out with great friends. This cache: Found quick enough. Lucky the pen worked Joolay Tftc!!!
Enjoyed finding this on the first caching adventure of 2024! This was a quick detour from the path. TFTC
#10037 (10 of 11 today)Go big or go home! So went big! Today is the only calendar day where I have under 20 finds, so looking to break this barrier. But why get one when I can get... well a lot more.Headed south to Dapto for today's finds, but looking to be back in Sydney for a 5:30 event I couldn't totally go to town. So started with a short bush trek, and then some other quicker finds for a total of ten, before the event made it eleven.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Final find down south today. The iPhone wanted me in one area. checked all likely hides there but nothing. So looked at expanding the search area, and thankfully the first place I headed for held the (uncovered) prize.Added my ink to the log and then replaced with a touch more camo.time to head to the event.SLTNLNTFTC
We found this one on 10/4/22 it was a mission. The paper is wet and not signable. Fun cache.
Found it after a quick scramble through the bushes. Shame people think it necessary to leave their 'waste' here, so be careful where you tread
On a positive note, we spotted some lovely woodear fungus nearby.

Great spot, really beautiful walk. We saw a huge rainbow! Partner spotted this one, nicely hidden. Tftc
Found it my daughter called your hiding spot a little cubbyhouse cause how the tree grown over
Find 198 for the tribe.
It was a lovely day for a bike ride so the little geokid and I parked at Kanahooka park and cycled across to this one. This really is a little used section of the path but is quite beautiful and relaxing to hear the waves lapping against the shore while you cycle.
Unfortunately the scourge that is lantana is colonising near where the cache is. We demolished a bit of it on the way to the cache but it really is a pest of a weed.
Apart from that the cache is in good condition but could do with a new log sheet. We traded some swaps. Hid the cache with a little more camo than before as it was pretty exposed the way it was.
A lovely cycle back to the park and another one of the LIPT now completed.
Thanks mini rats for the cache!

In the area from Sydney to visit the mother at aged care in Albion Park. We had a little time and so stopped at the nearby boat ramp for a picnic lunch and then a walk along this great bike trail. Nice image in the paddock across from GZ with a horse and rider cantering up the hill. We found a catchers trail into GZ and soon located the container with contents nice ad dry. SL TFTC Cheers...
